Velika sramota kada netko iz "usa" ne zna tko je Dr. Dre. You mean Tupac wrote California Love. Yes, including Dre's verses. "Now let me welcome everybody to the wild wild west." Yep, that sounds like Tupac!!!
@@ericmoorejr8033 Dre is a great producer. But has a history of letting other rappers write for him. 2pac, Snoop, Jay Z, Eminem, etc. You can even tell Em wrote his verse on forgot abt Dre.
Always had deep respect for Eminem even as a rock/metalhead as he was unhinged in the best way. Try "The Way I Am" also, my personal favorite. Thank you for your reaction!
The LGBT thing, Eminem started with shock lyrics. His first albums he was saying gay slurs, talking about chopping up his ex and sleeping with popstars which is why Mariah Carey did that song "Obsessed". Lol. They tried to cancel him then! He matured a lot but occasionally teases Gen Z who thinks they are doing it for the first time. 😂
Em is the absolute GOAT pushes peoples buttons and they lose their minds and try canceling him and I am loving your reaction and now you understand what you don't mess with Em
I'm a 66 year old white male and I love "Slim Shady". I enjoyed and still occasionally enjoy the creativity of many Rappers and Hip Hoppers with rhyming lrics, social statements, sampling from music in the past that combine entertaining music in more than one way. I think Eninem is talented and intelligent. I don't think your generation is dull or not creative. I think the sensitivey of these times stems from our past. Our beliefs, actions, conduct from the past has brought us to this point. If we want to uphold words from Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag that contain words of Liberty for "All" or our Constitution with words of "Establish Justice fo All", "Insure Domestic Tranquility", Provide for Common Defence" and "Promote General Welfare and Posterity for All" then it's condusive that this sensitivity phrase ( which might last some time ) happens if we ever want to accomplish what our Country supposedly stands for. It's an ongoing process to reach the point where these words are true for all. Me personally, I place my anger towards my ancestors who created this environment. I think your Generation is fine and making an effort to be better than my generation. P.S. "Smoothe"- Santana featuring Rob Thomas ( video ), it 's a gift. I'm not emotional, you're emotional! 😭 In terms of a favourite? How can I pick? Rap god, Venom, Godzilla, Killshot, Kamikaze, Lucky You, Caterpillar, Purple Pills, Lose Yourself, Without me, Stan, Bagpipes from Baghdad... like those are just off the top of my head because everything this guy touches is fire. If I had to pick only one to recommend you react to over all the others, it would probably be Caterpillar ft Royce 5'9 because its not AS well known as the others but it goes so damn hard.
Dr Dre is a great producer he used to be in a group called NWA back in mid and late 80s and he discovered a lot of rappers like Em , Snoop Dogg , 50 Cent , The Game .
I was a freshman in high school when this album dropped and trust me when i say even back then there was droves of people protesting to get him "canceled" but he never took a step back or apologized for anything he said.
He specifically said that here was no way in hell he'd ever be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Guess what he got inducted into a few years later... Legend.

Dr. Dre created Beats headphones as well. Signed Snoop, Tupac. Em, 50 Cent (with Eminem) and Kendrick Lamar. He also was apart of NWA back in the 80s. He had a long career. A true legend.
He never signed Snoop or Tupac they were on death row and after death row Snoop went to No limit, lEminem signed 50 and Top dog signed Kendrick Dre left Cali and started working with NAS wide miss
When this came out I was listening to Dr Dre (Chronic 2001) (came out in 1999 aswel) . This song was on The Slim Shady LP. This album and Dre's album were the albums my friends and I were playing on the car audio all the freaking time when we drove (even if it was just a 10 minutes drive). Listening to this takes me back to that time.. Great time being a teenager.. darn
I am going to love these Eminem reactions. He is on my daily listens along with Tupac. His catalog is so huge. Be aware this man has different characters in his songs. Slim Shady songs tend to be more along the lines of this video but he can be dark and show us his place as a father as you seen from his last video. All of his videos are top notch. Dr Dre helped bring up people like Eminem and Snoop. He was originally part of N.W.A who themselves were very controversial at the time. People have been trying to cancel Eminem for decades but you know how that turned out
Dre is the OG, check out his "2001" album, released in 1999 but still in the charts in 2001! So many tunes, my faves are "The Watcher", "Whats the Difference", "The Next Episode" and "Forgot About Dre". Bonus Eminem suggestion: "Bitch Please II".
When this song came out (2000) it was massive, and there was no controversy. I was on a Senior class trip in Europe at the time and this music video was on MTV and VH1 constantly (along with Britney Spears "Hit Me Baby One More Time"). I went to seven different countries and at least a dozen hotels, whenever you turned on the TV this was playing. Eminem was huge even back then. I'd say much bigger than he is now.
As a European, I can tell you this went around the globe, not like today. Eminem's The Real Slim Shady, and other stuff went globally. Back in the day, if you had MTV or listened to anything foreign, you heard this
Eminem is a great rabbit hole to fall into. It has so many great hits and no he doesn't give an f about anything. In this past year he released a song called Houdini that is basically a sequel to slim shady. The the video is a must-see. Oh and he just turned 50 and is going to be a grandpa soon. 😅Still releasing the bangers.
The irony of him being the most popular rapper while also being the most explicit and vulgar is american society in a nutshell. Counter culture will always thrive
Oh damn, EM was a straight baller! He was so good. I was DJ'ing when he came out. It was controversial everywhere except the clubs. That dude could out rap anyone...and mean free-style it. PS, Dr Dre is one of the most successful hip-hop artists and producers ever. He brought Snoop out in their album 'The Chronic' and he has his own line of headphones that you've surely heard of, Beats by Dre.
When this came out. I was walking back from the grocery store at lunch to high school snacking on a pack of raw hot dogs in my jacket listening to this on my sony discman. Great memories.
To answer her question, I was getting ready to do almost 20 yrs. in the Texas and federal prison systems, went to TDCJ till 2014, then feds till 2019...still on parole till 2026....love you ❤, love the reactions....more Korn please. Studio version of Blind and Shutes and Landers
A Pretty package, color coordinated room include mic and headphone AND you catch the lyrics? Nice Reaction! 👍 To me, my favorite album is "the Eminem show" he carved his own lane and his early CD's lay bare his thoughts and experiences. So it's quite diverse from songs to his daughter, to wacky, to him standing up to the industry. "The way I am" and "Stan" are some early classics. In terms of him beefing, his beef with Benzino and Ja Rule are prolly the most well known. Em was so big their careers in hop-hop never really recovered. It starts with "the sauce" directed at Benzino who was part of the Source Magazine which at the time was how most people reviewed hip-hop albums, according to Em Benzino scored music from Em and his associates intentionally low.
I was born in 2002 where fast and the furious was first made and I was bumping NWA Eminem all of that old school music and I still do I like the old generation music compared to this new generation. I’m old school.
we lost one of the biggest mind talents and word smite in 1996. that was a hard blow for all hip-hop and rap lovers at that time. so in 1999, DR.DRE gave a chance to EM and a little Light on EM. Dr.Dre was pretty well known at that time all over the world and he still is! I appreciate all artists who speak what is on their minds. my favorite song... it's hard to pick one when you Talk about EM. but one of them is... Eminem - Quitter (Everlast Diss) ft. D12
Eminem released his first album 'Infinite' in 1996 and it failed to sell... After a failed attempt to take his own life, Eminem (real name Marshall Mathers) emerged w/ an 'evil' alter-ego that he named 'Slim Shady'... and he released the 'Slim Shady EP' in 1997 that was a much more lyrically abrasive indie record... In 1998, hip hop producer Dr. Dre (real name Andre Young) was given an Eminem tape by Interscope Records' Jimmy Iovine... Dr. Dre, who had a stellar career first w/ rap group N.W.A. and then a solo record 'The Chronic'... and success w/ the rap label Death Row Records, had left his business partner Suge Knight and Death Row Records around 1995 ... He launched a new label Aftermath and was looking for talent. He loved the Eminem tape and went to see him perform - he was shocked that Eminem was white! In any case, Dre and Eminem formed a good relationship and worked on his first international album 'The Slim Shady LP' in 1998... He introduced his murderous, foul-mouthed alter-ego Slim Shady w/ the first single 'My name is'... which became a hit on MTV. He became the first white rapper since Vanilla Ice in 1990 to find commercial success... 'The Slim Shady LP' sold 4x platinum by 1999. Dr. Dre and Eminem scored a major single in 1999 - "Forgot about Dre"... from Dr. Dre's album "Chronic 2001" in '99. Going into album #2 w/ Dr. Dre producing, 'The Marshall Mathers LP' in 2000 was a very dark record lyrically... Dre suggested that the album needed to start on a lighter note ... Eminem was not eager to record another quirky song like 'My name is'... but he reached a compromise - 'The Real Slim Shady' was a blitz on all the people that p+++ed off his Slim Shady persona... (Slim Shady even killed his producer Dr. Dre 🤣) pop stars Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and boy bands of that era... Will Smith for badmouthing Dr. Dre's 'gangsta rap' genre of music... and comedian Tom Green ("my bum is on your ship..." ) Making fun of Tommy Lee (drummer of Motley Crue) and then-wife actress Pamela Anderson after their divorce and assault charges on him... On the album, Slim Shady also killed his mom... his (then)wife Kim... and other notable characters. I remember people anticipating the 'Marshall Mathers LP' like it was the new Beatles record in 2000, especially after MTV aired 'The Real Slim Shady' music video (which also featured comedian actress Kathy Griffin and Eminem's D12 rap crew) ...It sold 1.78 Million copies on week 1 of release... a figure than shocked Eminem! It knocked Britney Spears' album 'Oops I did it again' ... from the #1 spot on the US charts. Her popularity (and Christina Aguilera's) never recovered after that Eminem record on which he singled her out 🤣 We will never see that happen again in the digital streaming age; that record has sold 11x platinum in the US. The other songs on the record were admittedly more serious - 'The way I am' ... 'Stan' (feat. Dido)... 'Drug ballad' ... 'Criminal'... etc. Despite his knocking the Grammy Awards... Eminem won Grammy's for "The Marshall Mathers LP" and although he was accused of being "homophobic" by critics, he proved them wrong by performing his track 'Stan'... live at the Grammy Awards w/ Elton John (who is gay) and defiantly flipped off the audience in conclusion. Eminem admitted that 'The Marshall Mathers LP' might have done all it could in terms of shock value and lyrical abrasiveness... so, he opted not to go that route on the next album 'The Eminem Show' in 2002, focusing more on quality tracks... That record sold even more at 12x platinum in the US.
I think this come out around 2000. During the mid 90s- early 2000s if you lived in Florida, you were at underground rave clubs every weekend. If ya know ya know. 😊
Brain damage - Eminem (early) Stan - Eminem My name is- Eminem Forget about dre - Dr. Dre ft Eminem The way I am - Eminem Cleaning out my - Eminem (2000's) Without me - Eminem (2000s )
I’m proud to be from a time before NWA was even a group, and I was around when their music first hit the streets! There was Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella! I remember walking down to Independent Records straight from middle school to buy “Niggaz 4 Life” on cassette tape 😂 There was no such things as cell phones back then, unless it was a brick phone, or a car phone but only wealthy people had those, so we used Walkmans to listen to our music! 😁 I sure do miss the old days 💯
I would love to see your reaction to Ren, Hi-Ren. Very similar to slim shady, while being completely different at the same time. I love your metal reactions. Ren is a genre all to himself
4:27 Trust me, hip hop is known to be misogynist and homophobic since the beginning due to brovado, but things have changed in general. He's still very Liberal, though homosexuality wasn't in the open like it is now. No big deal with me, but things take time, preferably without forcing it that people push against it too hard (my issue: forced language changing).
I remember when Eminem's album Marshall Mathers LP released on May 23rd year 2000 it was his third album I was 13 years old. Eminem was the craziest rapper in the early 2000s. They call him Slim Shady which is his crazy and aggressive personality 💙
Dr.Dre is was pretty much there at the beginning of hip hop main stream. Associated with producing some of the biggest hip hop songs of all time. Associated with artists such as Snoop Dogg, NWA & Ice Cube, 2Pac, Eminem, 50 cent, and more. Also the co creator of Beats headphones he sold to Apple Inc. Next Eminem reaction: I vote "Cleanin’ out the Closet" ...(brace yourself) LOL or Dr Dre ft Eminem - Forgot about Dre (since you wanna know a little bit about Dre as well as this song officially introduced the world to Eminem) In addition: watch the movie "8 Mile" and you will see why his career went to even bigger heights
Back then, people had thicker skin and knew how to take a joke. They didn't go and cry on the internet and try to stop anything that offended them. Being offended is a "You" problem.
When I was a kid, I remember our teachers saying we couldn't listen to this, in computer class there was a sign that literally said " no Eminem " Cause back then I was in 7th grade, we didn't have much to listen to music on then but our computers and CD players. I had this album, I think I had to borrow it though, and I remember even putting this album away so no one could know I had it, same with the Eminem show. This wasn't his first song, or album, but this album has soo many wild songs on here. Great ones too. I would actually say, react to the whole album, cause this isn't even close to his most wild song. He was just straight rapping on his first 3 albums. But yea, I need the album reaction fr. Pleasee.
You should check out Falling in Reverse great rabbit Hole Ronnie is the Exorcist of music…. His drops are epic his vocal range is unmatched He is a genre bending. Mozart of our time you should start with Prequel. Love your reactions I subbed Your very Beautiful ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
"Hot take": Eminem's serious songs *don't suck.* "Cleanin' Out My Closet," "Stan" (which literally added to our language), and the legendary "Lose Yourself" are all great. But this "joke track" actually hit me on a personal level. I'll never forget the night I heard it. The next day--- I *threw out* 20 pages of my own lyrics... :D
Nah hes not really homophobic. Its just shock value. He really pushed the boundaries. U gotta listen to songs from his first 3 albums...slim shady lp, marshall mathers lp, and the eminem show. The songs would blow ur mind. Things were really different in the early 2000s
Dre Was a Member of World Class Wrecking Crew, NWA with Eazy E, Ice Cube, Mc Ren, DJ yella, D.O.C, Arabian Prince, Em comes under the biggest Hip Hop Family tree from NWA, I was in year 12 High school when EM drop this! Em is legendary
Regarding the LGBT thing, the lyric is: "But if we can hump dead animals and antelopes Then there's no reason why a man and another man can't elope" Em supports everyones right to do what they want. He says it in a backhanded way, comparing gay marriage being illegal at the time, to some of the other things that got a pass with no questions asked. Sure, he used slurs in his music, but it was never aimed at that community. It was a different time. A lot of people used those words at times, myself included, but never as a term of hate towards any LGBT. People were a lot less sensitive, and knew the difference between satire and hate speech.

When this album came out i was in high school at track practice and i was playing it for the team and were laughing our asses off at it. Lol
You know exactly what you doing😂❤i ain't mad at you tho keep it up lovely reaction ❤❤
That AC DD DC top goes hard 🔥
Eminem’s first song was freakin backstabbers back in 1995. That was his first song I think the year when Tupac died as well.
Oh damn, EM was a straight baller! He was so good. I was DJ'ing when he came out. It was controversial everywhere except the clubs. That dude could out rap anyone...and mean free-style it. PS, Dr Dre is one of the most successful hip-hop artists and producers ever. He brought Snoop out in their album 'The Chronic' and he has his own line of headphones that you've surely heard of, Beats by Dre.
только тут я в восторге от клипа, хоть и слушаю Эминема всю жизнь)))
When this came out. I was walking back from the grocery store at lunch to high school snacking on a pack of raw hot dogs in my jacket listening to this on my sony discman. Great memories.
To answer her question, I was getting ready to do almost 20 yrs. in the Texas and federal prison systems, went to TDCJ till 2014, then feds till 2019...still on parole till 2026....love you ❤, love the reactions....more Korn please. Studio version of Blind and Shutes and Landers
when this song came out everyone was trying to get their hands on it through limewire or napster. the music video was on mtv every hour it was crazy
Eminem - the ringer
2pac - keep ya head up!

It starts with "the sauce" directed at Benzino who was part of the Source Magazine which at the time was how most people reviewed hip-hop albums, according to Em Benzino scored music from Em and his associates intentionally low.
his first 2 albums were the best.. every track on his 1st album was fire..
i was just start middle school when this came out . i remember all😊
I was working a White Castle my Senior year in high school!...lol. Love his music.
Yeah..thats the real slim shady.. classic eminem is something else
I knew you’d love this baby😂❤
Dre's 'gangsta rap' genre of music... and comedian Tom Green ("my bum is on your ship..." )
Making fun of Tommy Lee (drummer of Motley Crue) and then-wife actress Pamela Anderson after their divorce and assault charges on him...
Her popularity (and Christina Aguilera's) never recovered after that Eminem record on which he singled her out 🤣
We will never see that happen again in the digital streaming age; that record has sold 11x platinum in the US.
Brain damage - Eminem (early)
Stan - Eminem
My name is- Eminem
Forget about dre - Dr. Dre ft Eminem
The way I am - Eminem
Cleaning out my - Eminem (2000's)
Without me - Eminem (2000s )
🤣🤣🤣 Eminem is too goated
Buckle up lmao. This dude says it all he's a definite goat.
Eminem Honestly had people protesting against him.
23rd mate not 23th 😂
@michaelginger88 yeah I just noticed that what a bummer I'll probably just delete it no big deal.
@michaelginger88 there I fixed it
Great reaction as always ❤
His new album, The Death of Slim Shady has a lot of this old school style Eminem rap on it.
I'm 53 always loved him.
DR DRE is the one who Created Beats by Dre, produced multiple songs for Tupac, Snoop, Eminem, Kendrick and more
Loving the explicit version!!!
Next Eminem reaction: I vote "Cleanin’ out the Closet" ...(brace yourself) LOL
or
Dr Dre ft Eminem - Forgot about Dre (since you wanna know a little bit about Dre as well as this song officially introduced the world to Eminem)
In addition: watch the movie "8 Mile" and you will see why his career went to even bigger heights
@miainthemoment
you should see elton john explaining how homophobic eminem is lol
I was in 6th grade and have been an eminem fan ever since. Even back then people where protesting eminem.
Excited for your journey with eminem,
You got to react to sing for the moment but make sure it’s the uncensored version
Good luck
Pleasee.
I remember I bought the CD the day it came out. It was also back when MTV was playing music videos once in a while.
Eminem Not afraid is one of my favourite songs from him!
I was 15 when this came out and everyone had this album and Dre 2001 those were the best years of my life
You should check out Falling in Reverse great rabbit Hole Ronnie is the Exorcist of music…. His drops are epic his vocal range is unmatched He is a genre bending. Mozart of our time you should start with Prequel. Love your reactions I subbed Your very Beautiful ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
i love you, for this reaction❤ EM my GOAT
Do forgot about Dre with Eminem and Dr dre🖤💯 you'll love it
I forget the name of the song, but he goes hard against all the mumble rappers and mentions them by name. Can’t wait for you to react to that one.
One of his lines says mumble rap is so bad that they’ll be mentioning future in the past tense, or something like that. Lol.

You should see him perform this at a award show
Nah hes not really homophobic.
Nice catch on the sound at the end of the song, Pac was one of his favorite rappers.
U should react to the live version of this song because he performs it in front of everyone he dissed 😂
This was his second mainstream album (3rd solo if you count his underground album Infinite)
Regarding the LGBT thing, the lyric is:
"But if we can hump dead animals and antelopes
Then there's no reason why a man and another man can't elope"
Em supports everyones right to do what they want.
