Hats off to the bodywork lads and sprayers for the jaw dropping paint job on the Charger .Totally flawless work as are all their paint jobs . Fifty years car bodywork and painting myself .. SuperFly Auto Magazine channel "1934 Chevy Coupe Street Rod" video ( one of my jobs ) .

Still surprised you guys didn't opt for a modern Chrysler plant for the Jensen (i.e. Hellcrate or so) in line with its original heritage. Also with a dear friend in California tinting cars all day long (yup, that's his business) and seeing him tinting any car imaginable (incl. all the top shelf manufacturers with compound curves you'd barely believe like GT3's, Lambo's, Ferrari's, McLaren's etc., I'd say you definitely have to find yourselves a better tinter. At that, this is so much my favorite UA-cam show and I eagerly await every Sunday to see what you've all been up to. Cheers!!
The Hellcat engines that I have seen in Chargers make too much torque and just spin the back wheels.A well tuned 440 is definitely a more balanced engine to use imo
Everything looks amazing. The Jag is my 'car of the week' winner. Seems like the cars linger when they are down to the 1% that seems to take 99% of the time to do. That's the price of perfection.
There’s something special about that E-type, I can’t put my finger on it but I suspect when it’s fully built it going to be the finest 2023 sixty year old E-type in existence….beautiful paintwork..🙏👌🇬🇧
Utah and Churchill are my absolute favorite projects from since I started watching your channel (early Utah that was) Gordon’s escort was great too, but man I wish I could afford a Jag mark II based build by retropower uncut … these heavily modified jags just blow me away…
With project one and Churchill sitting next to one another you can’t help but think they’ve involved the same amount of metal work. You wouldn’t think that would be the case!
Ref Morris Minor back window .... You can buy a black candy concentrate ( transparent tinter ) and add it to epoxy resin or epoxy clear and spray it on the inside of the glass ( has to be absolutely mint clean)
Another very productive week, well done chaps. I hadn't realised that you were replacing the bubble on the front bubble arches. Wow! Attention to detail is fantastic. The Challenger looks awesome. I hope we can get to see the finished car 🤞
Would it be a good idea to 3D scan the Escort wings arch etc when happy...to then make a mould for carbon panels for any future cars. Time and cost v fab in steel. Love the videos. Jason
As ever, loving the work and detailed run through. Any chance we can get this in 4K?! Or even HD (1080),. For sometime now videos are only in 720 and doesn't provide the detail your work deserves.
Hi gye's .They are all very nicely built. But the mk2 coupe is going to be stunning. If it was mine and if I had the money .Would have stayed with the supper charged ingine.
What's the paint colour on that camaro please - It's perfect for a bike frame I'm having repainted. Was going to go with an Aston Martin colour but that is is lovely.
Churchill looks nice, except for those three kinks in the rear wheel arc. Same goes for the Escorts. The arches look almost perfect, just a bit of Elvis on the lips. And for the oil/water cooler, those just never work. Too much temperature difference, the coolant gets too hot, no sealing medium is capable of sealing both liquids etc. etc. A bad design. Better would've been to shorten the radiator and put a separate oil cooler underneath it with a slight air gap.
You have achieved a lot of really stunning re-engineered cars, so have you ever considered having, say, an annual meeting/show of those that are still around, to show off to the general public. I am sure you would need a large venue, but you could easily charge an entrance fee which would readily be paid by, what I would estimate, is THOUSANDS of people - all eager to drool over them ( hopefully not literally ) !
I suspect there are people like me who watch it for the skills demonstrated and the attention to detail provided, rather than the cars themselves...I haven't been enamoured with any of the Retropower cars much - just don't like the modified, boy racer style - yet watch every week!
@@mgbv8man2 It may have been considered ugly by some in 1965 but you can bet your house that everyone would have had one fitted, regardless of their aesthetic sensibilities. That makes it period correct.
Sorry guys, can I ask a daft question? Why would you pay Redux tens of thousands of pounds when you could go directly to Retropower who make the car anyway?
That fan setup on the E-Type rad isn't really the ideal way of doing it, surprised to see it done that way to be honest. The fan looks very aftermarket & without a shroud its just going to recirculate hot air without any ram air effect.
The E type is looking beautiful but, why oh why are you going to spoil a beautiful engine with an ugly hydraulic power steering pump and piping etc. when electric P/S sits under the dash with all the benefits and nothing visible.
Anyone which works on restoring a car is in constant pain, I FEEL YOUR PAIN 24.55 !!!!! but can you do me a cheap paint job MATE ???? I'll pay you tuesday, lovely job on the Charger as for Stu, Churchill is going to look as Jag should of made 👌
are you sure that this message is a joke or is it a cry for help , either way suicide and mental health should not be taken lightly and the fact that the camera person zoomed in on this suggests that its a cry for help and not just messing around

The finish on that charger is insane!
Great film work Jamie, it is difficult to capture a dark colour but it looks great on film.

Love the attention to detail, and the problem solving, also nice to see some quality workmanship from the younger generations, great teamwork.

The comedic relief at 24:55 😛
That charger body in mirror finish green is a work of art worthy of an exhibition. Just leave it on the rotisserie and enjoy it as is.

It’s that rear 3/4 view.
When those Escorts are finished, they're going to be higher quality than anything that ever left a Ford factory.
That goes for every car that these chaps get their hands on
I think Johnny Smith has driven Gordon Murray's Escort, which was the prototype for these, on The Late Brake Show.

The charger colour looks just like Volvo 850 Olive pearl metallic
The amount of labor hours on these cars must be astronomical. I’d hate to write the check that pays for these works of art.

Hey what have you done to upgrade the wipers on the morris. Did I miss that?
The 044 pump screwed to the top may get noisy . Great work though, cheers
@retropowercars: what is the colour code/name of the green/grey/silver on the Camaro? It's similar, but not identical, to a Passat I used to own
Sure you're aware of them but Uro might be able to assist on the glazing front, think they get a lot of screens made abroad.

I'm trying to work out if anything original exists of the original Escort. At what point does it become a new build?

why do owners insist on slapping 'ipads' in the dashboards - just look out of place to me - even with you skillfully fitting them
Same reason people would have fitted them in the 1960s, had they been available: they make navigation on unfamiliar routes much easier.
