    The Jag coupe is really starting to look like it was a factory option and is being beautifully executed. Really nice work everywhere and still only 58k subscribers.

      I do wonder maybe if they launch to 60 all the cars they’d get more. But seriously maybe they don’t care but more people lack patience and engineering understanding to watch the videos. Nat was testing me a bit in that Escort rear cabin venting :)

    I absolutely love green cars, a previous car I had was British racing green but that charger looks stunning, I’m looking for a transit that colour now although I’m sure the finish won’t be as good as gaz does tho!

    What a set of skilled guys you have, they’re all amazingly talented. The paint on the Charger is fantastic, and then they go and flat it down! I can’t wait to see the finished article. Full marks for the paint clip, very interesting to see it being laid. Many thanks.

    Sorry don't think any American cars are deserved of that quality finish...look at that 1970's Charleton Heston film Earthquake....all the street scenes have these used abused Mustangs parked up....just thoroughly ordinary mass market cars

    Has any one ever tried using an anaerobic adhesive as a seam sealant? Would need to be very low viscosity to penetrate well.

    Hi, I am an ex Vauxhall worker and have an original Ball-Pein hammer used by me on the production line in the 60's. Do you want it?? Since my retirement its been in constant use and has had three new handles and two new heads & is now mainly used for pulling out nails.

    How do you deal with getting zinc, raptor, poly, primer, paint on the bits that the jig was bolted to while doing the main spray.

    It’s sort of disappointing that the two Escorts are not being built for competition use so I guess they will be used on the road and for shows? ( I just hope they won’t be locked away in somebody’s private collection, they will be far too beautiful for that ! (Ralph Broad and Allen Mann excepted of course!) 😊😊😊

    Has the blue E Type's engine got a fuel injection system looking exactly like the original SU carbs?

      They've mentioned this on other projects and I believe the company they use specialise in producing fuel injection for classic cars disguised as throttle bodies. You get modern tech with authentic appearance.

    Not a fan of the Mustang stripes :( I hoped that if you went with them, they'd be subtle, a la Binky. Alas not. Obviously the customer's call, but having money is clearly no indicator of good taste.

      I think they said back to original (because that was quite a significant car and engine design historically speaking), but I may be wrong on that….

      If you watch the video he explains exactly why they had to do that to clear brakes

      No, the original Opel wheel centres were utilised to create the much larger new 3-part wheels rotors and callipers that the design required. However as the rear face of the wheel centres is basically flat agains the hub it could not accommodate the bigger callipers without fouling. Hence the shallow spacers.

    Nice work on the Escort arches. The original bubble arches are horrid things IMHO and don't even match front to rear. Yours look 100% better.

    Ah springs to the eye… I still chuckle to myself about the time my mate forgot to release the bolt on a rifle before removing the top cover at army cadets. Spring flew out and gave him a black eye that lasted a week.

(My comment was to compliment Jamie the cameraman on the numerous takes and editing he must have to undergo while the two lads tend to ad-lib almost all of the time ha ha!) - However I do love his timed to music sequences during the work scenes..

    Nat, re Escort boot spring, have you considered using gas struts, smoother operation and relatively easy to fit. 2 gas struts may in fact be lighter than the long original spring. Regards from New Zealand

      that is true, i think. However, i prefer the somewhat magical, invisible spring mechanisms used back in the day. i also like torsion spring suspensions, like in VWs, Porsches, Dodges, etc.

      I’m the opposite- horrible with original wings but that’s probably because after idolising the racing versions back in the sixties I actually got to buy a bubble arched road car myself back in ‘73.- Happy memories..😊
