- It's finally here! The first trailer for Season 2 of 'House of the Dragon' is here and there is a TON to talk about!
We get a first glimpse of Rhaenyra Targaryen as she begins the Dance of Dragons vs the Targaryen Greens and Aegon II. Daemon Targaryen in his battle armor along with Ser Criston Cole in a new role. Alicent seems beside her self with war time and her father practically absent. What about the Velaryons and the dragon Seasmoke?

What if Yoren and the group made it to the wall?
(I think time wise by the time they make it to the river lands with the war slowing them down the red wedding happens)
What if Jamie arrived earlier to the capital after his release and Tywin forced Him and Sansa to marry be interesting especially if Jamie found out about cerci cheating on him.
What if Cersei had been to married Ned before the rebellion happened (I can’t remember their exact ages)
What if Varys found out about John Snow when Ned came back from the tower of joy.
What if Tywin gave ICE to the mountain and gave him the job to hunt down and kill Rob in the war of the five kings.
That's a *ton* of ideas...I love it!
The hype is real 🔥🐲♥️🖤💚 the only thing is missing is more Winterfell, I hope we get another teaser.

I'M SO EXCITED! I can't wait to see more. I'm sure we'll see Cregan a bit in this season, but the real Stark fun will come around S3 or 4... BIG SMILES FROM KEVIN WHEN IT COMES TO HOUR OF THE WOLF!

Sorry to sound like a broken record player lol but personally I love what ifs where a tiny change to the story has huge ramifications going forward and in my opinion the perfect one for this purpose I think is "What if Benjen told Ned and Brandon that Lyanna and Rhaegar fell in love during the Tourney at Harrenhall." Would this change the perspective on the moment Rhaegar gives Lyanna the crown of love and beauty, how would that impact Robert in all this. So many possibilities.
What if Roose Bolton stayed loyal to Robb ie
1. How would it change things?
2. Maybe everything happens pretty much the same Ie, he still tries to scheme his way into the Stark royal family etc but leaves with the karstarks to help retake moat kaylen and the rest of the north from the ironborn when the red wedding happens (maybe the Karstark are the ones to do the red wedding with the Frey?) so he’s kinda got to suck up to the Lannisters so not to be killed?
People think Roose was planning on betraying Robb from the start but he wasn’t he wanted as much power as he could get during the war like when Robb married a Frey, he did so to later marry into the stark family he’s an opertunist social climber not a traitor until it was clear the north was going to loose and he bailed to protect himself kinda like littlefinger.
Got a couple ideas you may enjoy making
(Not these are off the cuff and I may accidentally tread on old ground but I'll try stay original)
1) What if Ned arrived just before Jamie killed Aeris II
2) What if Tywin accepted Tyrion as he was
3) What if Leana Stark survived
4) What if Catalyn Stark married Littlefinger
5) What if Varys wasn't cut
6) What if Stannis lead the Rebellion instead of Robert.
7) What if Rhaygar gave the crown of love and beauty to Elliah Martel.
8) What if the Mountain refused to kill the Targaryans
9) What if Oberyn poisoned Jeoffry and Cersy at the purple wedding
10) What if Robb Stark survived the Red Wedding
I love it...especially #9 as a conversation piece.
Retroactively after learning more (still learning about the setting) one other very interesting idea came to my mind. What if Benjin Stark told Ned and Brandon the truth about Rhagar and Leana before the end of the torni?
Can you make a what-if video for "What if Rhaenyra married Harwin Strong?"
1. To appease Corlys, Rhaneyra's sons would be legitimate children and be assigned to marry Daemon's daughters.
2. Otto would stop the Greens' takeover in the long run and delay it to his great grandchildren's generation to marry into Jacaerys' family.

We're all so excited to see the Starks, amirigght?! It's nice to see Starks outside of just the main timeline starks I think (Ned, Robb, Jon, Catelyn, etc.)
What if Theon abandoned Winterfell and fled to the Nights-watch in season 2
What if Aerys Targaryen DIED at Duskendale (Barristan the bold goes ham still gets him out but he’s like shot with a crossbow or something)
Hi Kevin, rewatcing S02 for the nth time and made me think - What if Tyrion went with Shae in Pentos right after Blackwater? Varys could work a way to connect him with Dany early on.

I imagined that the “Blood and Cheese” scene would be on a “Red Wedding” level. Not in the first episode.
I really don’t think so, red wedding hit so well because of the time spent developing that story line and the characters. Blood and cheese is the death of a character that’s been in 1 scene so far.
There’s only 8 episodes in S2, so I imagine they will all have epic events in every episode
I think it's going to be pretty high level, so I mean I wouldn't be shocked if it's going to have a lot of emotional turmoil...could be a very intense one. I hope they really indulge in it for max drama
What If The White Walkers Invaded During The Dance of the Dragons
I’m excited for this next season. All the characters have some growth to do from season 1 I’m sure the actors will have fun portraying it all.

Absolutely. Tons of work to do for these characters...who are you most anxious about the growth of for the next season? Who do you think will have the biggest struggle?
@@TheBattProductions Pretty much all the Greens. I feel like the blacks already had most of their development done in season 1. I want to see how Aegon turns now that he has the crown and how Aemond might double down on his violent streak. Probably Alicent since she has the least power and control over everything will probably struggle the most.
I’m expecting her and Rhaenerya to talk about Aegons prophecy. That’ll be a twist for both of them.
What if Joffrey killed the butcher’s son and tried to kill aria, which led to Nimeria biting him and Aria killing him on the way to the capital

You’re right on with Aegon’s Joffrey vibe. Baela has a scene this season that is one of my favorite moments from the books. I won’t spoil it for you!
That'll be in Season 3, they're probably making her fight in Rooks Rest and screaming when she is forced to flee

Okay, I was disappointed with season one but season 2 looks like it's gonna be amazing and I'm pretty excited about it.
Tragically I think they are gonna replace Nettles with Baela but I am really really really hoping they don't.

I'd rather Nettles not be replaced but it wouldn't be the worst thing if they do it right.
Please do another House of the Dragon what if, such as What if the boar killed Rhaenyra in episode 3, or what if Viserys married Laena.
Vizzy would have just been hella despondent, the Hightowers might probably have discreetly iced Vizzy, and because Daemon hates Otto he would have started making accusations.
The Greens would have been in a much more secure position, but since child kings are always a bit of a disaster and Daemon retains control of the city watch it would have been more of a headache than you might think
Or maybe Vizzy decides to be an actual father to his other children
I'd love to do another HOTD WHat If...it's all about the idea inspiration...and the Viserys/Laena one is supe rinspiring to me IMO...
@@TheBattProductions Oldtown goes back to the drawing board and discreetly poisons any children Laena has. If you're into the whole GMC thing. Knowing about it does make the whole C section scene a bit nauseous

I genuinely believe that is silverwing with syrax because back in season 1 seasmoke had more of of pink membranes in the wing and from what i can see and zoomed up those are all silver to me but just speculation need to wait and see
I bet it'll be Seasmoke and Addam
I think Silverwing is a fun thought, but honestly the dead giveaway for me is to look at the tip of the tail!

Vhagar is the second largest of the Targaryen dragons in Westeros. There is no reason to believe that either are even close to being the largest dragon of all time, as Valyrian dragon lords ruled the Freehold for several thousand years and the Targaryens were the weakest of the dragon riding houses. I'm not sure that Balerion would even be above average for a dragon before the Doom.
I was just speaking about known dragons since we can’t name one bigger than Balerion.
I have just one obtuse question, as someone who hasn’t read the books.. Are Targaryen’s immune to cold? I imagine flying at those altitude must be freezing… unless Dragon biology provides them some kind of protection.
Not obtuse at all! It's a worthy question for sure.
Targaryens aren't immune to cold (or heat), but I think it's just one of those things where it isn't worthwhile to really inject science into the story, hah.
Logically, it would be quite cold as you said though!

It’s been confirmed that nettles and the youngest son of alicent Daeron won’t be in season 2 I believe
I'll have to look into that! I haven't seen it's been confirmed for both, but I surely may not have been that with sporadic S2 news out.
@@TheBattProductions I very well could be wrong, too. It was a friend of mine who told me so I didn't see the source. It does sort of make sense cause if I'm not mistaken the roles the two of them play are more significant towards the end of the war.
@@jesseandersen4055 I'm not questioning you - no worries! If you've seen it somewhere, I'm sure that may be the case. I did see somewhere they said Nettles won't be in it (which is wild since I think she's tied to other characters fairly significantly) but it can work I guess if they want it to.
@@TheBattProductions I was also disappointed gut I also heard they're trying to make 4 seasons out of this show so I don't think its unreasonable to think that they're going to add nettles and Daeron for the last half.
