Informative. I must not be the target audience for this content. Although, I’m seeking resources to assist with my divorce…we don’t have any property or assets. We just want to walk away from each other. There’s no money whatsoever so there won’t be a settlement for us. I simply need help with the cost of the divorce that has to be paid to the court for filing or I’ll be stuck to him forever due to financial abuse.

Why does emotional abuse not that important to the judge (?)
Abuse should be punishable. Im seriously considering filing a civil claim against my abuser.
On top of it would secure a jury traial and if only I could get media involved
I don’t think that it’s necessarily not important to the judge, but there’s no concrete evidence. How do you prove emotional damage beyond reasonable doubt?

In my case as being a male needing a divorce from a narcissist wife I can't afford a divorce either. I have always paid every bill for over 20 years. She always had a good job and kept her money to herself. She recently got fired from her job and at her age (60) probably won't be able to get another one. She also is an alcoholic which led to her I believe getting fired. Any way her drinking and narcissistic behavior has gotten worse. Calling police and saying that I am abusive,, ( lucky thing I video taped the whole thing). Anyway in order to divorce I basically have to leave my home and she gets half my retirement. Don't even have the money to leave. Anyway I can't afford a divorce but it's just no way to live. Eventually she have me arrested and put out of my home, ( she moved in with me). SORRY FOR THE RANT!
@Mike La Sally I Empathise with you. One feels out of control having to deal with someone whose behaviour is out of control and Disrespectful. I hope and trust you will come up with a strategy where you can prove her detrimental behaviour in your marriage. It's so unnecessary, but sadly many people have to deal with people like your spouse. You going to need support in this draining process. Find Professional Help to cope please.
Very sad. Ik either and both genders suffer abuse. Narcissism is difficult to explain to people who have never endured it. Wishing you well ❤️🙏

Hi, here I went for nothing. It was closed, so I had coffee downstairs with the ladies.

Divorced a narcissist. He controlled all the money. Wouldn’t let me work then left me with $60,000 debt. I can’t afford an attorney but I need one so bad. Fighting a narcissist is like going to battle with the devil himself. They have no emotions or soul. Its been seven years since I left him and non stop court since. I would have loved a 18 month divorce. Try years of non stop conflict. He has remarried to a crazy lady (she is clearly an ex druggie or current druggie which explains a lot about his actions) he just met and now she is harassing me and stalking me worse than he did. Didn’t know that was even possible, it is. If you are reading this and considering divorce you need to get your ducks in a row first. If there is physical or severe abusive please go to a shelter. They will provide for all your needs and your kids needs to transition out of this. I did it and have no regrets. I did it for my kids
