Can I say a decent cross over for a good price / 80% proof thou is the Glengoyne 10yr the long fermentation causes a fruit forward hit that starts well & lingers. Cheers Carlos, I hope you see it in Florida. On the 4 Roses side of Bourbon / scotch match-ups.
I pretty new to scotch but Bunnahabhain 12 has been my favorite. I also like Port Charlotte 10 if I am in the mood for campfire smoke. If someone wants to try an Irish whiskey with a little peat then Two Stacks CS the butchers blend is awesome. 130 proof 2%peat is a wild ride. Thanks added a couple for me to try
Hey RJR! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I’ll have to try that Two Stacks one, sounds interesting. Port Charlotte is pretty good as well. Enjoy that Bunnahabhain! Cheers 🥃
Thanks @thebloody! Yes sometimes it takes a few to find the right one. Happened to me with Japanese whiskey. Have you tried Monkey Shoulder? If not that might be a good one to try. Cheers 🥃
You are a total opposite to me, im a scotch drinker with everything else on my shelf , except bourbon. I havent found a bourbon i like yet. The only bourbon i like was the overpriced van winkle which i cant afford lol
Nice Selection!! totally agree on those choices! Started with Scotch and came over to Bourbon, but have not forgotten my roots! LOL
Thanks William! Yes cannot forget the scotch roots at all haha. Cheers my friend 🥃

Hey James! Thanks for watching and for the recommendation. I haven’t tried Glencoyne 10 but will look for it. Cheers brother🥃
Aberlour 12 and The Balvenie 14 year rum cask finished are also decent scotch for bourbon drinkers
Awesome recommendations! Thanks Markchapman! Cheers 🥃
I'm glad you mentioned Monkey Shoulder, it's a pretty good "beginner" scotch, and affordable
I agree Monkey Shoulder is a great one and it’s cheap. Thanks for watching! Cheers 🥃

I have shelves full of whiskey, bourbon, rye,Japanese, Irish, rum, and cognac. I’m extremely hesitant about scotches. I’ve never tried one I like.
Hey James! Have you tried any of these yet? Monkey shoulder is a good one to try. Hope you find one you like, cheers 🥃
