I love how Superman smiles and says his mom made it for him. Like he wasn’t trying to be edgy or cool, he’s just friendly and good. I’m glad Henry Cavil says he wants his Superman to portray joy and hope in his next outing. It’s a good time to be a Superman fan.
They really need to start using the John Williams' theme for season 2 of Superman & Lois. Tyler Hoechlin has proven to be the best Clark Kent/Superman since the great Christopher Reeve.

the John Williams theme is so iconic and so perfect for the character that it has transcended beyond the bounds of the movies its in. you cant distance Superman from this theme, just like theres no replacing the star wars theme, or the mission impossible theme

While he's no Christopher Reeve, Tyler Hoeclhin is great in the role. CW proved that with great writing, great actors and a decent budget, Superman can really come alive.

Sad when an actor on a show out does the movie version. Henry just doesn't play him as a very modest character. I know some of that is writing. Him being a nerd don't help either it hinders the performance. Superman or Clark not Kal-El is a very humble and innocent character. Almost child like. Christopher Reeve understood this. Henry and Snyder over think the character and his powers. Almost comes off as if Lex was Superman not Clark. Even Tom Welling did a better job at playing the role than Henry does. Not to knock on Henry he is a fine actor. Just a badly scripted version of Superman followed up by a bland performance. Usually uber nerds aren't Superman fans.
