I would personally love to see child rapists burn at the stake. If they were going to die anyway might as well make them suffer while they do. And if for some reason you think this is cruel let me ask you a question. Is what they did not cruel? So why can’t they get a cruel death in return? I don’t want to here some shit like it makes us no better than them because we are killing the people who did it. We aren’t the ones who actually did it. And do t bring your dumbass morality into this because people that rape children don’t deserve your sympathy especially not your stupid moral ideas

I'm a 31 year old white man...my favorite new pastime is watching people react to Carlin like I did 10 years ago for the first time. What I hope you understand about Carlin is that he did not give a flying fuck about race. All were equal to him, it did not matter what you had between your legs or what the pigment of your skin happened to be at birth. He mocked everyone a little, and some rightfully a lot. He made you laugh, cry, think, and get angry all at once. Comedy is supposed to make you laugh, but truly great comedy makes you feel uncomfortable too. Good reaction, you earned a sub. Me, you, and our combined couple of grey beard hairs could have some good conversations. Wish you well my friend, keep up the grind.

Just subscribed. I was in high school, early 70's , when the "Professor" came out with a comedy album"Class Clown". It contained the classic 7 Dirty Words You Can't Say on TV ! My friends & I loved it. He also hosted the very First SNL broadcast. Comedy has always meant a lot to me. In the 70's & for decades to come, George Carlin & Richard Pryor could do no wrong in my book. If they offended somebody, tuff shit. I'm Christian as well. It's nice to know there are open minded brothers & sisters out there. God bless. I will say this. Carlin seemed to get... let's call it cranky as time went on. Seemed looking at the world & the U.S. for so long was just pissing him off more & more. I had the good fortune to see him live not long before he passed. At the end of the show he acknowledged the apparent growth of his anger towards all that is wrong with the world. Who could blame him. He then, to set some of us at ease, pulled out a hand written paper. It was the Updated version of "The 7 Dirty Words"!!! It had grown quite a bit.

His intelligence is hinted at in his comedy but in his interviews it's on full display. I especially love it when a politician, or anyone really, who thinks they're dealing with a "dumb comedian", tries to go in on him. It's like watching lions and hyenas running from a honey badger. With respect, his anger is directed at the people who profit off of both sides of the law with impunity.

George was referring to the witch trials. Earlier he mentions the retribution in the bible and he talks about Christians and how capital punishment is a religious ritual. Throughout he's making religious references like crucifixion. The witch trials where the so called guilty were burned at the stake by Christians because they were thought to be possessed by the devil.

The most brilliant part is how he starts out sounding sincere and then as what he’s saying gets wilder and wilder THAT lets you in on the fact that he’s being purposely hyperbolic. He doesn’t have to break character at all.

I'm a huge fan of Carlin. He is my idol and #1 Comedian. He told the truth and how it is and put a twist on it. His mom was a english teacher. He was fascinated with the english literature. When he was a kid he wanted to be a radio talk show host. He got a voice recorder and used it to pretend he was having a radio show. He was obsessed with the radio industry. He got his big break on the Ed Sullivan show and his career took off since then. His very first Major Piece he did was "7 words you can say on t.v."
George Carlin was much cleaner in his youth. He wasn't dark like how he is in his later stages of his comedy career. He also was a conductor on Thomas the choo choo train in the 90's (kids show). I used to watch that when I was a child.
I wish he was alive so we can hear what he had to say about the problems of today. Can you image the off the wall dark perspective funny things he would say. Could've woke people up abit.

Well, the Bible does condone slavery, it even tells you how to properly beat them if they aren’t being submissive enough. Yes, cannibalism is a real thing. There was a guy in the 80s or 90s that made a movie where he actually filmed real cannibal tribes in their day to day lives, including eating people.

Then I will chuckle to myself like I was just given access to a little inside joke between me and George.
