I've heard that those engines run cool and have condensation issues when you don't run them long enough to heat oil to the where it'll evaporate the condensation moisture, I had one about 5 years old with only about 50 hours that looked like that so it made sense
That's got to be part of it. With the older carbed machines its easier to get fuel into the crankcase but this machine is fuel injected. Only way for fuel to end up in the oil is for something to be broken. Whether it be a fuel injector or a improperly torqued bead gasket. I also need to look in the manuel if it's a direct injection or a port injection but I would assume it's direct
Everything I know about mechanics in my head screams at me that this is definitely not normal, and what gets me the most about it is that Kawasaki has been pretty well known for a number of years of not really having much issue with their engines mechanically so it kind of makes me wonder if it’s just not a fluke of an engine, but I would definitely say that’s not normal or right
In getting the same screaming noise in my head cause it looks like a blown headgasket to me. I just can't get over the gassy smell of the oil even though it still looks not terrible
Im not sure about the gas smell, however my old triton V10 gets that exact white crap up under the fill cap, scarily thick. It now has about 275,000 miles on it. Analysis will tell you. Short runs, not bringing engine up to operating temp is what will cause condensation. If its still under warranty, run the crap out of it for a few hours, see if it clears up... 😁
I can understand condensation to a point and maybe they're completely right but I feel like for 35 hours condensation wouldn't be this bad plus it smells like gas when you pull the dipstick. But we'll see
How many hours on your machine? Mine is using much less fuel now and the oil is cleaner on this last oil change now. I've got 67 hours now and I'm starting to think it's a ridiculous break in issue but I'll know for sure once I test the oil again
I've got around 67ish hours now and I think it's actually getting better. Uses significantly less fuel as before and I'm starting to think there's a ridiculous break in period but will get the oil tested again on the next oil change to make sure. If it makes you feel better just change your oil before 50 hours and run it hard and run it for long periods
It should not have that white goo accumulation like that. Mine has 557 hours and very little white goo in the oil fill cap, that can be caused by excessive idling or slow driving. I noticed you have factory heater installed, wondering if coolant loss could be related to that. Be persistent with dealer. Keep plenty of photographic or video records in case things turn bad.
They supposedly fixed the coolant leak. Said it was a slight drop at a fitting. Not sure which fitting but one of them I'm guessing for the heater. I've sent off my oil to get analyzed and I think that'll give me all the facts I need to know for if the motor is seriously hurting or if it truly is just condensation. But most of my trips on the machine the motor will get up to temp and the fan will kick on. But even if all my trips were small I would find it hard to believe that at 35 hours my oil fill looks that mucky from just condensation
Blown head gasket or crack in the block or cylinder head, with that low of hours I'd demand a new engine under lemon law, looks like it wasn't built right from the factory, dealers have to eat the labour cost for warranty repair
That's what I was originally thinking. I brought it up to the dealer and they told me that the oil looked normal and smelt Normal. Told me it was just condensation. I don't really believe them so I've sent the oil in for analysis
I have same model and they told me it was just condensation too. 235 hours now in meter and engine is smoking. Kawasaki is lying Lying somewhere!!! Angry me !

Get a compression check. Does the water jacket circulate through the heads.. if the head gasket is leaking should show in a compression check.
I have seen that milky look in the oil when you use full synthetic oil.
That white stuff you are seeing by the oil spout could be from using synthetic oil. I have seen this before on trucks.
Really that's interesting I've never heard of that but maybe I'll try another oil and see what happens
From research I’ve seen, it’s seems to be related to crankcase venting back into throttle body ???

Hey did you figure out the cause? I have one doing the exact same thing
How many hours on your machine? Mine is using much less fuel now and the oil is cleaner on this last oil change now. I've got 67 hours now and I'm starting to think it's a ridiculous break in issue but I'll know for sure once I test the oil again
I have a 2023 has 15 hours doing exactly the same as what yours is doing

Mule has three year warranty. Might be using it.
Definitely going to be using it if the dealer can get their heads out of their ass
I would switch brands of oil and check it again in 4-5 hours.
I switched from amsoil 1040 to Napa 1030 or 530 I can't remember which for the winter time. But I haven't checked the cap yet
@@ParkerMotorWorks A bad batch of oil can give you a bad day. Some history of how long the utv sat unused may shed more light.
It's a brand new machine

Thats a good engine. It's a simple twin v.

Angry me !
Yup now mine at 80 hours is dripping brown watery fluid (not like oil) from the air filter
