Playing rebirth and seeing this makes it funny how much cloud made his own story due to trauma
It's not just trauma!
After the incident, Cloud and Zack were experimented on by Hojo for 5 years.
This caused Cloud to develop "Mako Poisoning", essentially splitting his soul between his body and the planet.
The two were also injected with Jenova spells, which can "adapt to anything" and alter their host depending on the situation.
Zack had resistance because he was already a genetically modified SOLDIER.
@@daanduijkers4845that’s also not it. The playable Cloud on Rebirth is from a different timeline, one where Tifa actually died. How he ended up on Rebirth’s timeline is yet to be explained.
Rebirth takes place on the same timeline as Crisis Core, and Cloud is from a different one.

@@Chromwel-A basically this is a spinnoff prequel with a different protag, the protag of the main game was poisoned basically and imagined he was zack
at 7:40 it seems they never fixed this that line was supposed to be asked by Zack as he is the one who doesn't know about this but Sephiroth knows. what I'm saying is that why would Sephiroth question himself and answers it.
Also, when Genesis says that Sephiroth is made using the remains of countless failed experiments, that's a lie. Sephiroth was created injecting Jenova Cells into Hojo & Lucrecia's child

41:40 kind wishes they used the motivational theme moment like in the original PSX FFVII (FFVII HD had music kick in way too early).
Cheers for this. Shame they added so much weird stuff from the original scenes. That weird ginger guy that appears after Sephiroths initial realisation when in reality the scene just ended after that. and clouds weird anime/crouching tiger hidden tiger jump at Sephiroth when he attacks him. When in reality he just ran at Sephiroth and Sephiroth impaled him. and in the real scene Sephiroth kills two people with his sword just prior to the famous cutscene where he walks through the flames. In this version he is kind of just standing there? and then the flames appear from nowhere?
I'm not sure about this grey swirling mist that surrounds characters when they get stabbed either.

It seems like you don't know anything about FF7, so I'll spell it out for you; Cloud is a Sephiroth clone.

Yes, Cloud is a "Sephiroth clone" as they like to call it, which doesn't really mean "clone" in the literal sense, it just means Cloud has a bit of Jenova inside him, which Sephiroth uses to ocasionally control him and to eventually cause the Reunion. This cannot happen in the Nibelheim flashback, Sephiroth doesn't know his true nature yet (he thinks Jenova is an ancient, that's not true), and all of the points the guy made have nothing to do with it. He pointed out the inclusion of Genesis in the scene, which is an actual weird inclusion and a retcon. Also, you can see that Hojo in the end sees Cloud and claims he is a nice test subject, meaning Cloud did not yet have Jenova cells in him.
What differs Sephiroth from the Sephiroth clones is the way they were created. Cloud had Jenova inside of him after he was already grown, while Sephiroth had it in the womb. In the events you see in the video:
1 - Sephiroth doesn't know what Jenova really is yet. He gains that knowledge after entering the Lifresteam.
2 - Cloud does not have Jenova cells in him yet, so he is not a Sephiroth clone, he will be later on, but since we're talking about this specific event here, that doesn't matter.

Cloud attacked sephiroth from behind. Sephiroth was already badly injured when he fought against Cloud.

Wait I thought cloud was the one that did this… so if that means it was all a dream or illusion then that means in ff7 part 3, we may all just realize it was a facade and that Zack and Aerith truly are gone and that square really did stick to the original plot basically. Which sucks because they hyped it up as “ohh the untold story bla bla bla”, which is false advertising. Shame on square enix
Remake and Rebirth are sequels that take place after the original. There's already been people that lived instead of dying, the Black Materia has an entirely new origin, a major plot point took place in Rebirth that should have happened way later in the game at end of 2nd disc of the original game, oh and a duplicate materia is floating around.
@@ConsoleControlGames Its not a sequel. Theres no proof that Remake takes place after OG. I really wish people would stop calling it that like its a fact
