Lily's chocolate is 100% sugar free. I've only seen in baking-chip form (like chocolate chips), but they can be easily melted like any other chocolate.
Oh my, honey, maple syrup, and the medjool dates have sugar, which increases blood sugar, which triggers the insulin response, which in turn stops fat burning in the body. I'll be substituting those sugars with 100% Organic Stevia, and unsweetened chocolate. Looks delish, thanks for the inspiration.
Honey and maple syrup have a TON of sugar in them and they are both super high-glycemic meaning your body processes it very quick (where we get the terms sugar high and sugar crash from). In my personal experience, monk fruit is medium-glycemic for me (everyone's body is going to process sugars and sugar substitutes differently). If you want an alternative, Agave syrup (comes in a few different colors, some taste like sugar, some taste like maple syrup) while it is full of sugar it is very LOW- glycemic meaning your body processes it slowly over time rather than all at once. If you NEED to avoid excess sugars (as in that's not already in the fruits and veggies you eat), then use either liquid Stevia or Agave syrup. If you already grow Stevia, then dehydrate that up, crush it or powder it, and add it in with your ingredients.
Agave is full of fructose - it's even higher in fructose than high-fructose corn syrup. Fructose is the damaging part of sugar because the body can't use it efficiently as fuel and the reason why it's low glycemic is because the body doesn't metabolize it well and it all hits the liver where 40% of it is turned straight to fat immediately because the liver has to spend a lot of time trying to convert the fructose into something usable to the body. Search for Dr. Robert Lustig on why fructose is poison. There's a reason why bears eat almost exclusively berries and fruit during the fall to fatten up for winter.
@@alwaysright5901 the difference between honey and agave, though, is agave processes through the body significantly slower than honey and cane sugar, which process super fast. Agave IS better in that sense. And as long as they are as close to raw as possible, it and honey are highly nutritious. Regarding Agave vs Monk Fruit sweeteners, which is what keto "maple syrup" is, it comes down to a matter of taste preference because of how slow agave processes through the body. If you're going the sugar-alcohol route rather than monk fruit, a diabetic still needs to be careful because it IS a carbohydrate and process in the body as a carbohydrate. Literally everything can be safe OR dangerous - it just depends on HOW we use them. Everything in moderation. Natural sugars straight from the fruit or vegetable WHILE we eat them are always the BEST option. It's certainly not ideal in this day and age to cut out desserts, but if our ancestors managed without chocolate, so can we.
Baker's chocolate is sugar free. You can melt it, add powder stevia (love Pyure shaker) or liquid stevia which can come with other flavor infused, like hazelnut, mint, etc. Then place in silicone chocolate bar molds 👍 For healthiest option, 100% stevia.

It's good fat. It's not hard to find chocolate without sugar. All you have to do is get some baking chocolate from the baking isle. But oyu won't want to use it straight up - it's way too bitter. You can find chocolate with no refined sugar such as chocolate with honey, mple syrup, stevia, etc. These look yummy!
Ghirardelli makes baking chocolate bars with 0 sugar I buy them on amazon I use them for making ice cream as chips in or coating on macadamia nuts in vanilla ice cream or for chocolate ice cream. I recommend stevia or monkfruit with Allulose comes in brown or granulated but none of those other artificial sweeteners I use these for my dirty carnivore diet and I've lost 40 lbs sense just after last thanksgiving I dont have cravings anymore but in the beginning, they served me well I still use monkfruit with Allulose for making BBQ Sause and beef jerky marinade
I bought a syrup from the Livlo brand which uses allulose. I was shocked how sweet it was. Are you using allulose with monkfruit because of the aftertaste with monkfruit? I'm new at this. Ty!
In order to balance the blood sugar spike, I use the rule of 5. Add up the grams of carbs and the grams of fiber per serving. Divide the carbs by the fiber. If the result is less than 5, then you’re okay. So anytime you can add an ingredient with fiber, it can balance out the carbs.

I had to switch to almond butter from peanut butter because I can't eat as much almond butter than peanut butter. I will eat a whole jar of peanut butter in a sitting! I eat PB on almost everything, even found a shop at the mall with Peanut Butter Soup! OMG it is GOOD!
We also use Colostrum for heartburn or after a meal that feels too heavy. The bars look delish! I make something similar to the first one and add unflavored protein powder. Crunchy PB
My favourite lunch WAS homemade bread, toasted with peanut butter. For over a year now, no homemade bread for me, and no peanut butter. I no longer have cravings, but I do love watching you, and may use the crust to make KETO lemon bars. This does look yummy though. Thanks! ❤️
its 39.95 for the smaller size. if you have gut issues its worth it, esp if you take a 1/2 dose (which I do all the time) i have really enjoyed the product.
Dates are low to medium on the glycemic index. Used sparingly- just a few not a pound is a great way to naturally sweeten food for those of us who do not eat sugar. They are also very nutritious. Allulose is now under investigation and it's costly. I use Majool dates instead.
Are you aware of what Colostrum is? I don't think I am up to consuming colostrum from a cow goat or wherever they get it. If it works for you, go ahead.

5:26 I know..awful. Products like those, are products that are made, in the industry, when the calf is immediately taken from the mom before it can even nurse. Awful practice. And I am with you .❤
My go-to snack when I crave something sweet are raw energy balls. They're so easy to make and so versatile. You can make healthy chocolate out of coconut oil, maple and cacao. Dip some hazelnut vanilla energy balls into it - bliss!
Instead of looking in the candy aisle, go over to the baking aisle, for unsweetened baking chocolate. Hershey's quit making theirs in 2018 (not sure if they brought it back), but I just pulled a box of Baker's brand out of my pantry to check, it contains no sugar. For alternative, instead of Crisco or other veg. shortening, mix the dry cocoa with cocoa butter. You can find cocoa butter in the beauty aisle, in little pale yellow 1 oz. tubes (NOT the cream blends - you want the only ingredient to be cocoa butter). Cocoa butter is HARD at room temp. I used to get it for $1/tube at Dollar General, Walmart sells them for 8.26/oz, Queen Helene brand. It is pure cocoa butter. I have some to use on my skin, as it literally melts into your skin. It is used for stretch marks, but I use it in my soaps and just rub it straight on cuticles in winter. Anyway, although in this form it is sold for skin care, so long as it is pure cocoa butter and there are no other ingredients, it is edible. I have never tried it with cocoa powder as a sub for chocolate in recipes, but I don't see why it would not work. iHerb sells them for $2/tube. It is the exact same item, no idea why it has jumped in price. Well, maybe we all know.... Pure coca butter will keep on the shelf for years, but might dry out a little, and will have a whitish film. That's fine, it's still good, just drying out. It contains natural antioxidants which keep it from going rancid.
Ghirardelli has sugar free chocolate chips and they are AMAZING! You wouldn’t know they didn’t contain sugar. BUT some people cannot digest the Maltitol. And *I* am one of those people. I ate @ 2 Tablespoons. Within 45 minutes I was in the bathroom for the REST OF TNE EVENING! 3 1/2 hours! I decided not to throw it out-I’m saving it for medicinal purposes……if you get my drift There is also choc-zero. Haven’t tried it yet but I will. I freeze banana slices and dip them in melted chocolate. Ghirardelli has a 90% chocolate. It’s kinda bitter but the sweetness from the banana compensates for it. I also stuff pitted dates with half of a toasted pecan and a dab of peanut butter and dip them in chocolate. And I put some frozen banana slices in the blender with enough low fat milk to help it mix well. Add a bit of the dry mix from a pkg of sugar free chocolate pudding and blend until,it’s nice and thick. Eat it right away as a soft serve kind of ice cream or put in a plastic container and freeze. Let it sit at room temp till a little softened.
Because there is a good amount of coconut oil in there, that is a treat best kept in the fridge. Coconut oil (no matter what it's mixed into) melts at 70 degrees Fahrenheit - about room temperature. Unless you make this in winter, and your house stays on the cool side, it's best to keep this in the fridge or it will get gooey and messy.
If you want unsweetened chocolate, you can use Baker's. It's in the baking aisle, and where I am it's sold as 2 4oz bars. They're usually used in brownie recipes.
I make a traditional Mediterranean treat. It’s a mixture of dates, apricots, cinnamon, almonds, and I use agave instead of honey. You can also add coconut to this if you like. Use equal parts of each dry ingredient. Add 1/3 cup agave and 1 tsp of cinnamon. If you like you can also add 1/2 tsp. Of cardamom or allspice. Blend into a dough. Wet your hands and roll into 1 1/4 inch balls. Roll into
Old fashioned sugar plums are a good option. Made from dates, pecans or walnuts, cocoa powder, and honey or agave. 1/12 cups chopped pecans 1 tsp. Vanilla 1/4 cup cocoa powder blend into a dough. In the food processor. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls. Coat with cocoa powder.
Camirra, Thank you so much these two recipes. They are my "go to" bars that my husband loves. I myself do not like the Larabars sold in stores, but your recipe is sooooo good.....really superior. I make them all the time for gatherings, and everyone loves them again and again.❤❤❤
i havent tried it, but i would! give it a go. if you do maybe try to use a high fat butter like kerrygold, b/c sometimes butter will have too much water and start popping in the microwave. or you can do it double broiler on the stove.

I can't wait to try these recipes, thx for sharing!
Ty!
I'm definitely trying these candy recipes.
I’m going to try both of them. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely gonna try these and sprinkle a little course sea salt on top. 🤤 ❤❤❤❤
WOW Chef CAMIRRA 👩🏾🍳, both recipes sounds amazingly Divine and exceptionally delicious 😋. Absolutely Sensational. Enjoy a happy and blessed stress free peaceful Sunday with your family and a fantastic week ahead God bless you all in abundance forever . Amen 😊. Well done 👏🏽👏🏽💛💐🧡✨👑✨👸🏽😘.
I had to switch to almond butter from peanut butter because I can't eat as much almond butter than peanut butter. I will eat a whole jar of peanut butter in a sitting!
I eat PB on almost everything, even found a shop at the mall with Peanut Butter Soup! OMG it is GOOD!
Thanks Camirra have a great weekend you and your family . GOD BLESS ❤
We also use Colostrum for heartburn or after a meal that feels too heavy. The bars look delish! I make something similar to the first one and add unflavored protein powder. Crunchy PB
"if you want water just drink water" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha.. true 🎉
Haha!! Took the comment right out of my mouth 😂
I like both recipes! Thanks for sharing! I will be trying!
Very helpful video!
I got off carbs and sugar, lost 10lbs already in a month. I use monk fruit in my coffee and tastes same or better. Thanks
My favourite lunch WAS homemade bread, toasted with peanut butter. For over a year now, no homemade bread for me, and no peanut butter. I no longer have cravings, but I do love watching you, and may use the crust to make KETO lemon bars. This does look yummy though. Thanks! ❤️
thats a goods idea1 the crust is versatile so a lemon top would work
Yummy!! I’ll adjust the recipe just slightly BUT THIS WILL TASTE YUMMY! Wonderful keep the people educated
Your miracle moo is $60 a jar, that’s rather expensive to me
its 39.95 for the smaller size. if you have gut issues its worth it, esp if you take a 1/2 dose (which I do all the time) i have really enjoyed the product.
Ty so much for the info
Yeah not paying 60 but will consider paying the reduced amount because I've suffered with stomach issues for my entire life
i hope you try the lower priced one to give it a go! i really enjoy the product!@@CarolShook-yg9nn
Find you some REAL MILK you will get more than the moo
I’m going to try both of them. Thanks for the recipe.
I like peanut butter 😊
Have You tried the recipe with raw cocoa powder , coconut butter and nuts ??? it s delicious , simple and healthy
If you want water just drink water.😂😂😂
i swear 😂😂😂
Date paste (blend water & dates) since fiber in dates slows absorption of natural sugar in dates...or use dehydrated date powder & water
Since when is maple syrup not sugar? It doesn't matter if it is in the whole recipe. Dates are Stright up sugar. Maybe try allulose
Dates are low to medium on the glycemic index. Used sparingly- just a few not a pound is a great way to naturally sweeten food for those of us who do not eat sugar. They are also very nutritious. Allulose is now under investigation and it's costly. I use Majool dates instead.
Thanks for sharing these awesome recipes. Love how you explain the recipe and instructions. You have an awesome teaching voice !!! 💕
Thanks so much! 😊
A high fat diet can help you lose weight. Your body is either going to use fat or sugar for fuel. You'll be able to tell by your cravings.
Rinse the date pits and dry them. Then roast them and can be used to make coffee.
Are you aware of what Colostrum is? I don't think I am up to consuming colostrum from a cow goat or wherever they get it. If it works for you, go ahead.
I'm sure this smart lady knows what colostrum is. The audacity...
SMH 🤦♀️
Most women know what colostrum is. We produce it in our breast after we give birth.
This looks absolutely amazing ☺️
Colostrum is one if the the goodies in mothers (breast milk), giving the baby more benefits for the immune system and general health. Google it.
In addition to using water to help parchment paper, you can also crumple it into a ball and then flatten it out again.
I'm sorry I couldn't find a way to send this privately. I have removed my subscription. Bovine cholosterum? Cow first milk concentrate? Please reconsider your sponsor
5:26 I know..awful. Products like those, are products that are made, in the industry, when the calf is immediately taken from the mom before it can even nurse. Awful practice. And I am with you .❤
Oh my goodness!! That sounds and looks so amazing!! Dates are awesome ! Rich does not shut me down 😂. I have to make these!! Praise the LORD ❤️🙏✝️
maple syrup is pure sugar.....so you are eating surgar
It no refined sugar. Also you can replace with more of the monk fruit
Your body needs sugar, but NATURAL sugar, not refined. Organic maple syrup is low glycemic
I cant wait to try these recipes! Any chance we can get the macros for these wonderful recipes??
Video title ... "I Dont Eat Sugar" , yet she uses maple syrup in the ingredients, 14 grams of sugar
I said no refined sugar
oh ok, I said "VIDEO TITLE" which does not include the words 'no refined", but ok, no refined. got it.
@@CamirrasKitchen Dear lady, ignore the idiots. You are awesome.
actual maple syrup doesn't have any sugar in it
@@awestruckcanuck ... Wow, yes it does, google it.
My go-to snack when I crave something sweet are raw energy balls. They're so easy to make and so versatile.
You can make healthy chocolate out of coconut oil, maple and cacao. Dip some hazelnut vanilla energy balls into it - bliss!
lily's sugarfree chocolate chips are delish. thanks for the great recipes. they are fantastic!!!
Bake believe chocolate chips from Walmart or Walmart online ordering are my go to! Lilly’s or Hu are great as well but higher in price.
You are a genius! These are wonderful recipes!! Thank you!
You can use Cacao powder as a substitute for the chocolate.
Thank you! You are amazing!!!! Thank you for your tutorial!
I decided not to throw it out-I’m saving it for medicinal purposes……if you get my drift
There is also choc-zero.
I can't do peanut butter, but I do like almond butter. I want to try both of these!! Thanks
Hope you enjoy
I’m going to try the date and nut bars. They look easier and right up my alley with more natural sugar from fruit rather than processed.
First time watching your video. Subscribed. Looks delicious and ever so healthy.
Excellent ideas! I'm gonna try them both as I love peanut butter and I love dates! Thank you! I'll get back on my results.
The only way to kick the craving is to completely cut it out
What great ideas! I am going to try them. I would have appreciated an affiliate link for the food processor you use.
If you turn that chunk of goodness onto its chocolate top, it will be easier to slice😊
You’re a life-saver. Chocolate candy has always been my downfall. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing, looks very delicious
You have the most adorable personality 💗.
If you want unsweetened chocolate, you can use Baker's. It's in the baking aisle, and where I am it's sold as 2 4oz bars. They're usually used in brownie recipes.
Go to the baking isle in the grocery for the 100% chocolate bars, ie Ghirardelli.
1/12 cups chopped pecans
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/4 cup cocoa powder
blend into a dough. In the food processor.
Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls. Coat with cocoa powder.
Delicious looking. I'm gonna make this. Thanks for sharing
Camirra, Thank you so much these two recipes. They are my "go to" bars that my husband loves. I myself do not like the Larabars sold in stores, but your recipe is sooooo good.....really superior. I make them all the time for gatherings, and everyone loves them again and again.❤❤❤
Glad you like them! that is so awesome!
I want to try the first recipe first and then hopefully I’ll try the second one. Thanks for sharing. Pat in North Carolina
Cut it into bars? Heck just start gnawing on it 😆😆 Looks SO yummy, gonna have to try those peanut-butter/choc bars(recipe #1)
Can you use melted butter instead of coconut oil?
i havent tried it, but i would! give it a go. if you do maybe try to use a high fat butter like kerrygold, b/c sometimes butter will have too much water and start popping in the microwave. or you can do it double broiler on the stove.
Do you have this posted somewhere so we can copy it and paste or print it out? Looks really good, but I don’t want to write it all out. I usually can copy and paste from the description but it is not allowing it for some reason. Thank you.
I like to keep the sugar low on things and this looks really good! I was looking for nutrition facts per serving. Mainly how much protein?
“Low Sugar Alternative” sounds awesome! Have you tried the snicker bar tasting date recipe? Add pnut butter in the date and dip in dark chocolate. Yum!!!
Just found your channel, loved your recipes, is there anywhere in which you write out the directions and timing of each step? Thanks and keep up the good work
