Nobody can get enough electricity through a charge cable fast enough to charge a real car in 7 minutes, nor do they really need to, even if the battery can take the juice that fast. The cable would be so heavy that if you could even lift it, some jerk would steal it for the copper inside.
Thanks for your sharing

Thank you very much for your insights. What range do you really expect?
The use of LFP cells in the Model 2 is a smart choice for cost reduction, but Im concerned about the lower energy density.
My daughter has an LFP model 3, whereas I have a NMC M3P. The range isn't that different, given that I normally only charge to 80%, whereas she charges to 100% ( as recommended by Tesla ). Given the enhanced safety of the LFP, I'd rather have that chemistry ( but I think the performance needs the NMC to get the higher acceleration ).

What do you think about clean energy?
First of all if I was an influencer for the American car industry, I would strongly wine & dine Chinese Engineers to help update & solicit technological innovations in both the auto & battery fields! Secondly, I would pay Tesla to help design & build future assembly plants & move to significantly vertically integrate the auto creation process!
Juniper will take up recourses rolling out the standard range then a time later the twin motor then a longer time the preformance and then production lines will require sufficient time to chunter out enough product to allow backlogs of stock for production lines to be swiched over for the new model to be dialed into production. We wont see production of model 2 in our showrooms for 7 more years.
You got a point. But since Robotaxi is expected to be out in October this year, I think Model 2 will be around the corner next year
@@adamtech999 Cant do two things at the same time with two production lines producing four models.
How might the Model 2's production impact job creation and economic growth in local communities?
More jobs for people
The idea of robots working alongside humans in factories is fascinating and shows Tesla's forward-thinking approach.
Right
The decision to eliminate rare earth materials from the powertrain is a positive step for sustainability.
What Tesla and other EV manufacturers need to do is use this innovative technology that this ine company has where they make clear see-through solar panels that can bend and conform to any shape and surface. And put these types of solar panels on the car's entire body. It would look just like a clear coat paint job, but it would act like solar panels and be able to charge the on board batteries. They won't be able to give a full high speed charging, BUT they could increase the ranges on the EV's. Thus making EV's even more desirable. The solar panels are called transparent solar glass/panels.
Elon needs to look into this technology and add this to Teslas!
Maximizing solar energy to charge electric vehicles will help increase operating range and reduce dependence on traditional energy sources. However, to realize this idea, we need to overcome some technical challenges such as improving energy conversion efficiency, reducing production costs and ensuring the durability of the battery panel. In addition, integrating solar panels into the design of the vehicle also requires creativity and sophistication. However, with the continuous development of technology, I believe that this idea can completely become a reality in the near future.
@adamtech999 of course, there needs to be ingenuity fine and a lot of brain power to figure out how to make it work, but I'm sure if the engineers were able to figure out how to get the rockets to fly back and land on the launch pads by themselves, I'm sure they're smart enough to figure out the challenges needed to solve to make integrated clear solar panels into the EV cars too.
But everything needs to start with an idea first before it can become a reality.
Too expensive and not efficient. At least yet.
@UnderDogTIGER ah, at one time, the whole concept of EV's was too expensive and inefficient, too.
The point is to create the technology, and then over time, the expense comes down, and the efficiency increases. But we got to begin at some point to make this happen. And we're not talking about using taxpayer dollars. We're talking about people like Elon who have all the wealth to be able to make this idea a reality. Just like what he did with Tesla and SpaceX.
I doubt that the price will be 25K USD, it will be in retail above 30K USD.
Let's wait and see
Tesla's focus on high-tech autonomy in the Model 2 will likely set new standards for affordable EVs.
sure
What does the Tesla Model 2’s focus on affordability mean for the future of electric vehicles in our communities?

yep
How might the adoption of a 48-volt infrastructure affect the performance and longevity of Tesla vehicles?
Longer range and better driving experience of course
The potential of producing 3 million affordable cars by 2025 is ambitious but aligns with Teslas innovative spirit.
Sounds like the Electric Viking's voice at the beginning. I will only believe it when it is officially announced.
Yeah. We can wait and see.
the video says at the beginning 250 to 300 miles range. 623 miles is a lie in the title

What lessons can we learn from Teslas approach to sustainable and high-tech vehicle manufacturing?
Sorry mate, but when you start including AI enabled third party commentary, sites starts to head downhill....
it's a pity for that. But is the information in the article useful to you?
What? Only 200 to 300 miles of range? Damn that's absolutely nothing!!! Naa, I'll keep my 570 miles of range...
Given the expected price of the model 2, that range is still great so far. Don't you think?
@@adamtech999 not when i travel from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Jacksonville Florida 831 miles or to Dallas Texas 1400 miles. My short range model S and my long range jaguar XJL are paid off.
Tesla's plan to use Optimus robots for production is ambitious and could drastically reduce costs.
