I'm a 31 year old English Gentleman from the suburbs of Kent, I have a mortgage and a child. I've never been in to this kind of music. I can't stop listening this this track. I think I just made Korn are uncool.
this sounds awesome indeed. I still love Korn, their sound remains unique. But they play this song too fast nowadays....this should be a slow song like in the video...compare it to some recent recordings... I like the slow deep and heavy sound. not the quick stuff..
I went to the show in kalamazoo. Feels like yesterday. Incubus opened and the bassline almost blew my chest up. Loudest sound system at the time. Great show all around. Rammstein was less a concert and nore a spectacle.
I've heard the "I'm so bliiiiind" part, with Mike Bording, Ray luzier, Joey almighty jordison!, And no one! No one! Do it like David Silvera, they all lack of that special groove Silvera have. I only enjoy this song listening to Silvera drums.
I think Korn sounded the best in the Family Values Tour all the other performances cant beat it i wish i could have been standing there i was only a baby when they did this show :(
@MuDvAyNe47 Fieldy for one loves Hip-Hop as do the rest of KoRn. Can you not tell that by the style of clothes they wear. Fiedly Also made a Hip-Hop Record called Fieldy's Dreams.
I don't get how people, even the band can say korn is better now then they have ever been. I don't get that shit. No disrespect to anyone who does, but this right here IS.KORN. And I'm not talking stage performance wise, but that too for sure. They sound so tight, crisp, and spot on. If I had to put a word to describe how they sound today, probably meatloaf. If you're hungry enough, meatloaf will do ya right. Korn 98, prime cut ribeye. You'd eat that shit even if you were full. I get they're much older now but, fuck. FV 13 blind, wtf! All I know for sure is they better practice the shit out of this 20 year anniversary set. People are gonna be paying good money to see this. And bring David back. For the love of god, please please please bring David back!
Im with you on this one, I don't get that either man I'll always be a KoRn fan but today to me they do not sound like KoRn at all, this right here just show's who Korn is or better yet what they used to be...it's a shame they went to dubstep and more techno(if you will) but this right is what I'll always remember what Korn use to be about
@guishe009 Brian is not religious. He believes that you do not need to follow a religion to believe in God. He has a song on his solo album Save me from myself called Die religion die in which he sings about his hate for religion. He also still loves KoRn.
I was lucky enough to see the family values tour 1998.I dont think david was there cause he hurt his wrist or something but it was an awesome show though!
I haven't been listening to Korn since after Follow The Leader that much, some of the new songs are okay, but not all. The thing is, Korn has been experimental from the start, and of course you have to realise that the experimentation doesn't stop there, even if it means going beyond rock or metal.
I use to have this on VHS.Gonna have to pick up the DVD for sure. This was back when Korn put on a really good show live. I mean they can still put on a decent show. The new song Get Up is a step away from their root sound. Going in that direction totally threw me off. The song is okay at best.
@MuDvAyNe47 dude you know that fieldy and KoRn in general, developed in a hip hop back ground, mixed with heavy metal? dude respect other music genres!
Now all the people myself included are parents and still listen to Korn takes me back to high school days
over 30 years old and that intro is still HEAAAAAAAAT
I'm a 31 year old English Gentleman from the suburbs of Kent, I have a mortgage and a child. I've never been in to this kind of music. I can't stop listening this this track. I think I just made Korn are uncool.
👍👽 not who it ...
I was in the front row of this very show...I miss those days...
I was on the floor at the rail. Why didn't you rush the floor like everyone else did?
i remember having this on VHS. the view of the crowd when he says "are you ready!" is just so awesome. it always stuck with me.
Yep but this song Woodstock 99 is insane
is this from the Documentary from Duece?
I miss the old Korn :'(
My were Sally who about voice lug zp 😀😀
really really miss the old korn
definitely the best sounding live performance of blind. korn will never sound like this without david..
this sounds awesome indeed. I still love Korn, their sound remains unique. But they play this song too fast nowadays....this should be a slow song like in the video...compare it to some recent recordings... I like the slow deep and heavy sound. not the quick stuff..
nah,i think that they are better sounds of blind, like oakland 96 or belgium 97
Amen, David is a badass drummer!!!!!!
the rap part was getting soft starting from 1998
Watching this in 2022. Korn was David and his Groove
ARE YOU READY!!! Gives me gusbomps every time ..... Fucking perfect.KoRn 4EVER!!!
i LOVED watching david play. His beats were so simple yet so...right for the music. dont have to be fast to prove you're good. MISS YOU DAVIE
Best Live sound ever!
In my opinion this is Korn's best song ever. Awesome.
I went to the show in kalamazoo. Feels like yesterday. Incubus opened and the bassline almost blew my chest up. Loudest sound system at the time. Great show all around. Rammstein was less a concert and nore a spectacle.
"When parents start to like KoRn, that's when we become not cool." Well said, Fieldy LoL :D
God I miss David era Korn them at their best
This was the first DVD I ever bought with family values back in high school. These guys where my favorite band and they still are today
Had the vhs
Watching this really amazes me how Korn has aged gracefully. I saw them 3 times this year, and they sound even better now! Korn for life!!!
First night of the tour we drove from buffalo ny one of the best concerts i have been too
I've heard the "I'm so bliiiiind" part, with Mike Bording, Ray luzier, Joey almighty jordison!, And no one! No one! Do it like David Silvera, they all lack of that special groove Silvera have. I only enjoy this song listening to Silvera drums.

@jacobsladder78 This is from New Orleans October 1998
wow this was one concert i really wanted to attend when i was a kid :(
i know for sure family values 98 was the best year for korn!!!
That was like, the best live performance of blind. Damn, the quality of the video is also amazing! 5/5

Fuckkkkinnnn love korn
really miss that old korn
1:39 listen to this shit, WOW
By energy Woodstock's performance is probably a little bit better, but by sound this one is way the best.
Caught the tour in Indianapolis '98, it was just as crazy. I think Limp Bizkit drew a bit more energy from the crowd believe it or not.
daaaamn good times bro lml
I watched the whole Family Values DVD today
the best fucking band in the world....
@theJessegalvez yeah man, you are fucking right! miss it!!! grew up with this too!
When Parents and Moms and Dads start to like Korn, thats when we become not cool........I got bad news for u guys. We all grown up now and got kids

@MuDvAyNe47
Fieldy for one loves Hip-Hop as do the rest of KoRn. Can you not tell that by the style of clothes they wear.
Fiedly Also made a Hip-Hop Record called Fieldy's Dreams.
Family values vid / dvd
Original KoЯn 1998-02 KoЯn Kicks F*ckin ass

KoRn is the best metalband in the world, not depending on members, prime years or anything!!

i fucking agree with that
I don't get how people, even the band can say korn is better now then they have ever been. I don't get that shit. No disrespect to anyone who does, but this right here IS.KORN. Lol at Fieldy,if parents start to like korn thats when we become not cool :p
@weses1 i don't how to say in englsih but, the guitars sound so clean, and distor is perfect!
@guishe009
Brian is not religious. He believes that you do not need to follow a religion to believe in God. He has a song on his solo album Save me from myself called Die religion die in which he sings about his hate for religion. He also still loves KoRn.
yes it was..well what of it that I can remember LOL \m/ !!!
im 29 yrs old and my parents love korn.. does that make them not cool?
Idd, the guitars have an even more low-tuned sound than they normally have. Really heavy and really great!!!
How it should be, all the kids going off, no phones
So... when I become a dad, and I listen to Korn, does that mean they'll still be awesome?
I was lucky enough to see the family values tour 1998.I dont think david was there cause he hurt his wrist or something but it was an awesome show though!
Fieldy said that when parents start to like KoRn they become not-cool. Well now a lot of KoRn Kids have KoRn Kids of their own.
@SPYDDET i know munky did, i'm not to sure if head did...i can't really see if he's wearing one in here or not...
i miss the `head`
I miss the sound they had with their self titled album.
That could have been a different year though that david hurt his wrist. I seen another family values show also, and metallica summer sanatarium tour.
I dont know but I wish I did cuz I wana do my hair like that!
@r3dgt1 ahahaha, made my day! :D
Did Munky and Head were jumpsuits in the old days?
I haven't been listening to Korn since after Follow The Leader that much, some of the new songs are okay, but not all.
The thing is, Korn has been experimental from the start, and of course you have to realise that the experimentation doesn't stop there, even if it means going beyond rock or metal.
a little bit later, there's a fan on the stage :D
2:16 JD's voice like cuts :P sounds fun :D
How does Head do his hair?
@DisguiseDK thats so funny for years iv always thought it was the other way around lmfao!

@SPYDDET Head didin´t use jumpsuits just Munky
@agentsmith11 family values tour 98'

I use to have this on VHS.Gonna have to pick up the DVD for sure. This was back when Korn put on a really good show live. I mean they can still put on a decent show. The new song Get Up is a step away from their root sound. Going in that direction totally threw me off. The song is okay at best.
i swear to god munky looks like chucky from "childs play" at 7 seconds into the video!!!
