@@rinnnnnnnnnnrin honestly been thinking about this for such a long time, it would make the connection between a person and their ghost more personal, giving them different personality too, sometimes having different jokes and lines, so everyone can care about their specific ghost more, or hate them more, it would form a relationship of hate or care, making it more lore accurate too

@@rinnnnnnnnnnrin kinda ironic but thats why I still liked dinklebot more. It was both more robotic and neutral while current bot is to preppy it throws off the mood.
I love how our Hunter vanguard was straight up ready to say "fuck my fire team, I'm 1V1ing Ghaul then getting a sandwich" rest in peace you marvelous foolish character.

Without a doubt there has NEVER been a video game character that has made me feel the way that Cayde did. Rest in peace Cayde.

Eh, look the cut scenes were great but I also remember quite a few missions were tedious and the final boss fight was just free ults and a easy win, but if that's your cup of tea, then I respect that.

The best part, Cayde, even with his light gone, he was ready to fight. When everyone was struggling to deal with their lost Cayde kept his head up. He was the strongest member of the vanguard because he never cared about the odds, just being a true guardian...
And ramen. He really liked ramen.
Basically Destiny's version of Naruto
Well Hunters are Natural Hunters without light so it’s in him to fight Titans really on defense and without light reinforcing it they have just armor and warlocks are just very evasive

Of course Zavala needed Cayde because whether he wanted it or not, he stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let him get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what Zavala can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right memes, he can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Assuming the first timeline where Elsie Bray is from is almost exactly like ours, minus, well, the Guardian, Cayde still dies from the Corrupted Uldren. I only say so because it’s said that Ikora and Zavala were in the tower during the second Collapse, when Eris turns to the dark and lets it consume her. He was not mentioned whatsoever until the reset where Elsie sees him in the streets of the parade
The guardian was there in the previous timeline(s). Elsie says so herself, in fact we were among the guardians corrupted by stasis.
Best character in any video game.

@@TaviusPlays when I played it was the last week Forsaken was free to play before Which Queen’s release. Grinded through the campaign and got to say even with that small amount of time Cyde is very much missed. It’s sad really that he’s not around besides two strikes.

I just realized with Forsaken getting vaulted, new players will never see Cayde in game, just some voice lines in old strikes
I don’t understand why they didn’t change the voice lines on those strikes after the content was removed.
I wish there was just a statue or a memorial for Cayde, so players can pay their respects

I started Destiny on the PS3, but didn't really start on Destiny 2 until Shadowkeep, during season of opulence. But fortunately was able to do The Red War, Warmind, and Curse of Osiris. But I wish I had owned Destiny 1. I own it now and recreated my D2 characters in it

Loved caydes relationship with his ghost. Sundance( i think that was her name) and Caydes personilties were so familiar. This cutscene shows that. She's like "oh someones there I wanna see" and cayde was like "yeah i know but I dont want you to die. If anyone's gonna die its gonna be me"

It's really a slap in the face to game preservation that this content is lost forever. I want the content I paid for to be back in the game so I can go back and play it if I so choose.
Cayde was a badass hunter, a good friend and a comedian, it stung to see him die so early into the story
My favorite part of this cut scene is the surprised face that Cayde makes when his hand gets caught in the teleporter

Cayde is the best character in destiny 2 I also miss the red war campaign. Although I beat it, I wish I got the chance to play it again for it was one of the- if not the greatest campaign in all of Destiny.

The community wants a way to go back and save cyade or something somehow. Can you imagine the pride and elation of millions of guardians using the infinite forest or something to bring him back?

@@TaviusPlays unfortunately Bungie confirmed that they don’t have plans to bring back Cayde. And with the Crypt destroyed (partially) it’s likely we won’t see him in Lightfall or Final Shape

Ikora, Eris, and Zavala have delivered some good performances but cayde was just peak

@Tavius Plays would GLADLY pay that as long as I got exotics or something. I already paid for those expansions once, I don't wanna pay twice for em but if they can spice em up somehow, then sure
@@chowrites6179 exactly. They can use parts of Scourge of the Past to create some dungeon in there but it would require a new exotic to be created. Which I’m sure there’s a bunch of weapon projects and ideas in a folder somewhere
