It's not that big if a deal there's multiple ways to one phase but honestly there's no need to stress. A 2 phase is perfectly fine and takes alot less effort and set up.

@@Roodles If the team already knows the strategy and is already set up to one phase then go for it. If they dont then it's just easier and faster to two phase rather than stress about making new builds or changing characters.

The Reason Well Is Super Good In This Fight:
The boss is obviously a big wyvern, wyvern's intrinsically take increased damage from abilities, as does this boss wyvern. Well of radiance makes it so that all weapon damage of the warlock who cast it counts as super damage (which is an ability), so it basically buffs your weapons by more than the usual +25% against wyvern enemies.
So like double well like in the vid makes it 50% ?
@@autisticfish2878 not quite. Well doesn't stack with other wells. I'll do my best to explain.
Well makes the weapons of the warlock who cast it count as super damage for the duration of the well. So while everyone in the well gets the +25% damage bonus from well of radiance, only the caster has their weapon damage converted into super damage. (Wyverns take increased damage from supers).
You see 2 wells in the video so that you have 2 players having their weapon damage converted into super damage. Then the tether hunter stops the boss moving towards you and makes the other 2 deal even more damage by debuffing the target.

Psa, hunters, tractor canon and felwinters helm are the only way to get a full 30% debuff on now so if u just running weakened clear it’s only 15%
Let’s do the math.
I’ll rather have 3 warlocks than 2 warlocks and a hunter.
This is because a warlock well recieves a. 90% increase in damage.
The hunter only receives a 25% increase for the well.
But the hunter debuffs the chicken by 30%
instead of a 15% debuff
Let’s say each guardian has the same weapon rocket, and the base damage of that is 100K.
100K X 1.9 = 190K
190K / 0.85 = 224K
3 Warlocks = 671K
-----------------------
100K X 1.9 = 190K
190K / 0.70 = 271K
271K X 2 warlocks = 542K
+
100K X 1.25 = 125K
125K / 0.70 = 179K
179K + 542K = 721K

Guess I was wrong.
1 hunter and 2 warlocks for the win.
Divinity is now a 15% debuff and void 3.0 weaken is a 15% debuff. But you can stack Divinity specifically with weaken effects to achieve a 30% debuff. It was stated in the patch notes where they dropped Divinity to 15% debuff.
@@curtissmith6894 yes they dropped divinity to 15% but global debuffs such as void, div, and few others DO NOT STACK. hunter tether, tractor cannon, and felwinters helm are the only methods of 30% debuff.
Same goes for empowering buffs. (Radiant, well of radiance, ward of dawn/weapons of light, lumina's blessing). This boss is a little bugged however. Empowering goes up to a 40% increase in player damage with the only causes from titan's Banner shield giving players who shoot through it a 40% increase, the mod suprise attack, and having 4 argent ordnance or having the raid mods of 5x stacks of umbral or glyphkeeper sharpening from vow of the disciple.
This being said, HIGHEST BUFF TAKES PRIORITY. They do not stack.
High energy fire is also pointless to equip if you are getting the effect radiant frequently or go into wells of radiance. So pro tip to avoid that mod for solar builds. However Font of Might DOES stack with all of the above and provides an additional 25% buff for 10 seconds. (Or longer depending on other mods)
But global debuffs do stack with empowering. Just not with themselves.
There are other buff types that do stack with the types above. Just look up the stacking buffs google sheet someone posted on google. Its really easy to read but not very popular on UA-cam so it gets overlooked.

@@Rnjesus386 I play PC, however, the last time I tried to join a group, they lost interest after realizing that they could hear me, but I was unable to hear them.
I haven't been able to solve this yet. In discord I have no problem, but in Destiny 2's group chat I am unable to hear the voices of my team.

Try throwing in GodSlayer Warheads too for an extra bit of damage.
Charged with light buffs (like argent ordnance) are in the same buff slot as well and lumina. You wouldn't do any extra damage because lumina is the same buff and a hell of a lot easier to proc.
just gotta wait to see if they'll bring back Hothead or not

Hunter strand super also does a fuck ton, ran it with a 3 stack of hunters with star eaters and tractor cannon and he fucking melted it was insane

@user-lc8ke6lw9n arc titan. I run rose hand cannon (any primary would work) a gl in secondary and the grand overture or whatever its called for heavy. Solo operator and breach and clear on class item.
Get grand overture to 20 rockets, switch to the falling star chest on dps, gl the boss storm nade boss, shoot 20 rockets close, strafe and fire 19 overture fire 19 rockets and super then run away and start again.
Also running charged with light from wells and high energy fire, pick up well from the adds in second room then run out as you shoot to begin the dps.
Imagine having this much time on your hands to figure this shit out

that is actually terrible. me and my bud aren't the quickest around but 4 phase tops. (I was testing with post-nerf retrofit)

Tbh I one phased with an lfg of 2 hunters and myself a warlock with one running arc staff the other tether and a gjally and we basically just melted
If they stand in well when u shoot them with lumina it negates the buff and just gives the well buff

Bumb in the Night with chill clip demo should be better than the hothead. So for more damage just swap one hothead to bumb 🙋🏼♂️

Ok but how are you guys getting font of might you work so well. Like you gotta kill the Minotaur with a nade/melee, BEFORE the boss finishes its thing, but with enough time to get the well to not disappear. The. Get the well, get back, place your well, and then you get to do dps. Even with ETD you’ve already lost most your time

Just a question why not have one of the warlocks use lumina while the hunter runs gally, as legendary rockets with Wolfpack and the right role do more damage
Because the warlocks are using font of might. You won't benefit from font of might with hot head.

There's nothing wrong with Starfire. I'm glad it puts out good DPS. There are builds out there that do roughly the same damage and they aren't Starfire builds. Get off this train of kids getting on social media and screeching for a nerf.

So I'm just wondering what's the purpose of the hunter shooting the warlocks every so often? Is there some kind of perk you can have for shooting teammates or something?
Lumina's perk is it gains 1 stack of noble rounds when you kill an enemy, up to 8 I think but don't quote me there.
Then you hipfire the gun aimed at a teammate and it uses 1 stack of noble rounds, which heals the targeted player and gives them a damage bonus of I think 20% for a short time.

@@oneedgyboi606 well i did research you right about nerf buit its still the same dmg as well so its not a worse version. Just meant for different encounters now. Well for open space bubble for tight encounters like swording things or shotguns. I been running bubble all season and i honestly havnt noticed any difference dmg wise thats how little the change was.
