Hi Claire, I LOVE your “how to colour tutorials”, you explain everything perfectly and makes it so easy to follow. I love you make colouring so much fun and, like you say find the easiest way to make our colouring look so realistic. I have a play list of all your ‘How to Colour’ videos and always look through them when I’m unsure. Please keep explaining things in our language im sure many others - don’t want “artsy-farsy language as I certainly wouldn’t understand - please keep it just as you do, which is amazing. Also the charts you’ve done look superb and I’m so greatful of all the time and effort you’ve put into every single chart along with your favourite colour combos - they’ve certainly helped me out loads when I used your Arteza Combos when I 1st started on my colouring journey, I’m definitely going to download your booklet and will give your booklet a “shout out” on my Channel and give you Thanks and the Appreciation you deserve, as im sure I’ll be using some of your Poly”s combos as their new to me. Im also a Newbie UTuber my channel is solely about my love for Kerby Rosanes books, I do monthly Kerby Theme Challenges- so if you fancy doing a Kerby page, I be honoured if the particular months theme inspired you. March”s theme is “Water”, so I’ll be searching your colour combos page to see if I can learn a new one. Your fabulous and so so talented, you help us beginners feel more at ease with following your tutorials, can’t wait to see your Wooden n Terracotta tutorials. Cheers Ness xx
You are such an amazing and generous person! I can't even put into words how much I appreciate your generosity in sharing your talents with the world and your amazing color charts. The first page I colored that I was actually proud of I did after skimming one of your tutorials. It wasn't a video tutorial, but I was able to easily understand your instructions and was so happy with my results. I have learned so much from you and the fact that I've been able to figure out a lot of things and utilize some of the techniques I've learned from you and produce something I am actually kinda proud of makes me so happy. You really are so kind and generous to share your color charts for free. I know that making color charts is a lot of work and figuring out where in which color family each color should go can be a bit frustrating at times and time-consuming. You could easily charge money for everything you do and tons of people would be willing to pay for it, but you make them available for anyone to use and I appreciate that so much. We've never actually spoken directly, except in comments on occasion, but I feel as if you are sort of a mentor and friend. Thank you again for everything you do for the art community. You're awesome!
Aww Crystal thank you so much for your lovely comment, you don’t know how much it means to me that I’ve helped you, makes me feel like I have worth in the community. Charts will always be free, I could easily sell them as you say but again I’m happier to help as many people as I can Xx
I would like to leave a positive comment. Of all the different videos I watched on how to color glass. I really liked yours the best. You may think it was too easy of a tutorial on how to color glass. Let me tell you it was Not! It helped me tremendously it taught and showed me how to color glass for my project. Thank you! PS. Don't ever feel something might be too easy, mundane, or monotonous for just helping someone you may be surprised! I hope I am not being condescending or offensive. If I am, I do apologize Ma'am. Have a Great Day.
New to adult coloring and a new subscriber as well! Love your techniques and simple tutorials. Other channels made coloring glass so complicated for me to do.
Fab tutorial, I'm going to try this, thanks very much. I really like your down to earth style of teaching, don't go changing. Love your accent as well 🥰🧡💛💚
I use blue for my glass as well. I think the most important, and hardest, part of it is following the shape of the glass. If it's not just right it ruins the illusion. I never thought of erasing paint pen with a blender, thank you for that.
I love ur step by step guides. Glass is something that I’ve always struggled with but you make it look so easy. I will have to use this technique next time I colour glass. X
Thank you so much for your easy explanation, it really is helpful to those of us who really just colour for fun. This tutorial has made me feel fantastic and that I can do more than just "block colour" I think the next jar/glass I colour will be that little fancier than usual.
Your coloring is just absolutely so beautiful. I really enjoy your personality and the way you teach us. Thank you for taking your time. I tried to do a glass or reflective vase the other day and I sure wish I would have seen this video first. It looks awesome😊
Best tutorial on glass for beginners by far, thank you!! Will you still be doing the other textures as well? Or did I miss them somewhere? Id love to see how you do wicker since so many of ny books seems to have baskets in them. Thanks again for your generosity and talent!
Hi Claire love how you did this , I was only doing a flower in a glass jar the other day and I was stuck how to get the glass effect .. love how you did this will have a go tysmfs 🥰
Thank you so much, this was the perfect video on how to do glass. I tried to follow another colorist who make it very difficult, needless to say my jar was a mess. You made this very easy, I think I can do this. Will have to get that paint marker! One question: if I want something to look rounded (like a pumpkin) do I color the edges lighter or darker?
Hi, I’ve been a subscriber for a while and I love your work. I am new to coloring and I love it. I want to learn how to color glass and your video just popped up 😊 Also, how can I get your fabulous color charts? Thank you for your generosity. 🌷
Generally but Blue Slate seems warm to me and has a purply undertone, very slight but I can see it. There’s also a lot of warm grey in it. Everyone’s eyes are different and warm/cool shades are debatable xx
I’m certainly a beginner, and this tutorial has definitely helped me time and time again. Thank you❤

Dark apart from the very edge, where I’d use a lighter orange/yellow xx

If it's leaning towards purple not green, then isn't it cooler not warmer?
