HOW I COLOUR CRYSTALS, DIAMONDS, & OTHER GEMSTONES IN ADULT COLOURING BOOKS | Adult colouring

- Hi guys!
In this video I share with you how I colour my crystals, diamonds and other gemstones in adult colouring books. I will be using colour pencils, specifically the Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils, but dry (shades match up exactly with the Polychromos).
For the crystals I have demonstrated, I will be using the pencil shades below:
Dark Indigo - 157
Cobalt Turquoise - 153
Light Cobalt Turquoise - 154
White - 101
Black - 199
Hopefully I managed to explain my process well enough, it is an easy process to follow I think.
I hope you enjoy the video and got some ideas you can use in your colouring.

It's nice to know I am not the only one that struggles with light source too!!
As someone who doesn't have an art background, I think it is something quite challenging to learn about light source and especially when it hits different materials - with gemstones, in reality, the light source will enter a gemstone and bounce all over the place within it which is what creates the sparkle 😂😂 I wouldn't know where to begin to reproduce that 🤷🏻♀️😂💗
This is great. I would be interested in seeing you do colored gems too. Since you already explained the crystals in this one, perhaps just seeing you color the others would be sufficient. Either way, thank you for the easy to understand tutorials. 💜

For the spider background, I use only my Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils activated with water, and I used some posca 🤗
