I know my comment is pretty late however here's what I found out, Milwaukee County d.a Chisholm blamed an "overworked" assistant for the low bail. Although brooks' risk assessment showed that he should have never been released for shooting at his nephew a few weeks prior to the incident that lead up his murdering 6 and wounding 47. That bail amount was 500 dollars. When out on bail for that crime, he beat and ran over his daughter's mother, Ms. Patterson. That was the 1,000 bail. Wisconsin has a serious problem with their bail system. You can Google it, but I forewarn you, you will find yourself saying wt*!

He was fleeing from the scene after a fight at home where the police were called. It's not good to drive while angry he did it out of rage I bet. Of course he can flee a crime and still be so mad from the fight that he decides to run over people on purpose. It's horrible journalism for them to report that he "had no intention to hurt anyone" because they are claiming to be able to read his mind.

He's got a rap sheet that goes back 23 years, multiple felonies, and the day previous to this tradgedy, had been released for commiting a previous felony. Yeah throw him into a russian prison in siberia. they dont mess around, the serious offenders get put in the middle of no where, hundreds of miles of cold and nothing in all directions, just a cold prison, minus temperatures everyday, and for their rest of their life

The narrative will report that fearing for his life, he accidentally drove into the parade route. Then, the police began shooting so again, fearing for his life, he fled accidentially hitting some people. He is sorry for his actions and blames police for shooting at him for a simple wrong turn.
