This was a simple case of self defense. The people were obstructing his escape, so he ran them over in self defense. Criminals can legally kill anybody who obstructs their escape from a crime scene. The Rittenhouse precedent.

I had my first homecoming parade this year, and the entire day, I was super excited. During the parade, it was so fun playing and doing our special instrument dances to the drum cadences, and it was really fun. I can't imagine at a time like that, of so much happines, turning to a time of suffering and despair immediately, when a car plows through the parade, and my friend next to me gets killed...
