My oil light is on solid. Oil is full. Car runs fine. No engine codes. Head gasket is blown but don’t know why that would cause the oil Pressure light to come oil. No signs of coolant in the oil.

I'm changing my oil pressure sensor today its 23 years old. The engine is running fine except for some engine fluctuations now and then I hope it's not the oil pump .
My oil light has been coming on at idle only and as soon as rpms go above 1 the light goes out. Car has been handling perfect, no sounds or ticks. No hesitations, oil level is right at max so does anyone know what could be causing it to come on and off?
