This album is timeless - It is a Master piece of music~. This needs to be in the music archives for future musicians to learn from. Fates Warning have given all of us Mark Zonder (The Master of percusion) with master understanding of Matheous is Brilliant. Fates Warning is Legend.
Enjoy Mr Zonder. Drummers like him are rare. My dad stole some of his playing. Bonzo is still his favorite drummer!! Thank you Mark for impacting our lives. My dad played just as hard as Mark. May metal live forever
Zonder is a very good (excellent!) drummer, but Bonzo was-is for ever TheBEST!!! Because it is all about how the drummer plays the music, and Bonzo was TheMASTER of it!
I was watching this back in 1997 wit a bunch of friends To get a group of people to watch a live video in absolute silence is a feat of quality ...to then have that same group of people remain totally speechless for another minute after the video clearly ended, that's a whole other level
Don't forget Watchtower's Control and Resistance, and Cynic's Focus, they started a completely new subgenre. Regarding's FW albums, I think that Perfect Symmetry infleunced much more people (through DT) than APSOG... But APSOG is probably their best album.
ive been fortunate enough to have seen this tour Twice! i can tell you that it was incredible both times spot on tight and the production crew was on there A game! i will never forget how incredible both shows were thank you Fates warning
fw are my favourites as well. Seems like they where always too great and too artistic to deal with business , marketing and all the shit that sadly converts art to a product...
I saw them on this tour in Fremont, CA . Portnoy from DT hung out with us in line, band went on late. Ray signed my APSOG sleeve & tour shirt to boot. Good times! One of my all time favorites cover to cover.
Saw this live around this timeframe - in Detroit (Harpo's maybe?) - I was just amazed as was is note for note perfect from the CD... Fates live show is one of the best I've ever seen. Being a drummer, I was awestruck at Zonder the entire time!
I remember this tour. I was a few months shy of being 21 and it was an over 21 show. Had to beg the bouncer to let me in. He ultimately did as long as I stayed in a specific area and didnt buy alcohol. My first Fates show and it was awesome.
Por muito tempo cometi o erro de achar o Iron Maiden a melhor banda. Fates Waning é perfeito, magnifico, maravilhoso. For a long time I made the mistake of thinking Iron Maiden was the best band. Fates Waning is perfect, magnificent, wonderful
Saw this show at The Troc in Philly 8/10/97. Such and amazing and flawless performance. That show made me a Fates fan for life \m/ \m/ ..... Hit the like button. Also saw the Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory tour at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby. Another Epic performance!
@@flashyfrank5726 You realize that I said "my favorite singer," right? The matter is truly subjective. So, I'd love to hear how your going to quantify and come up with a logical scale of vocalist standards criteria. LOL Your statement is nonsensical, and your conclusion illogical. Keep trolling, maybe you'll catch another one like yourself. haha ;)
I love this band
So do I, amazing band!

No words to describe this masterpiece. One of most important albuns of my all entre life
This album, and this band, were, and are, mind expanding to me.

This album, along with DT's Scenes From A Memory are what defines progressive metal as a whole. Absolute masterpieces!
And rush moving pictures.

👍👍

FW has been one of my top 10 bands, I found this album to be their best to date; why are they so underrated?
It has one of the cleanest, most crisp production I've ever heard, too. The album really is a masterpiece in all respects.
Because this is music that requires patience and appreciation for something else that a catchy riff?
fw are my favourites as well. Seems like they where always too great and too artistic to deal with business , marketing and all the shit that sadly converts art to a product...
There not. At least in Greece. Love you all
I saw them on this tour in Fremont, CA . Portnoy from DT hung out with us in line, band went on late. Ray signed my APSOG sleeve & tour shirt to boot. Good times! One of my all time favorites cover to cover.

Ray Alder. What a voice.

Isso que 'e uma banda foda do caralho!!!!!!!! Perfeitta, impecavel e etc.. Mark Zonder no auge da carreira. Thanks for the wonderful video.

The Longest Metal Track In History... Should Have Been Placed In The Guinness Book Of World Records...
Imagine rocking like this FOR AN ENTIRE HOUR. Nothing will EVER come close to it!
Ray couldn't hit the notes at this point, why did they continue and why do they keep going with him? Time for a better singer.
Obra maestra!

Favorite vocalist of all time, since 1988: Ray Alder. Favorite guitarist since 1987, of all time: Criss Oliva.
You don't set the bar very high when it comes to singers, do you?
@@flashyfrank5726 Is that slight sarcasm, or something else? LOL
@@mgdarenz Just an observation. If Ray Alder is your favorite singer, your standards must not be very high.
