Simply magnificent. This song, the whole album. A true masterpiece . I am so blessed to have witnessed the band perform this whole album live, in its entity. A live show I will never forget, an album I will always have in my heart. It's 2 am and no matter how much I've drunk, no matter what piece of sh!t I had to hear at the bars I was, I came back and wanted to listen to this very song. Thank you very much, mr . Matheos and FW, for offering us this masterpiece. Period.
A buddy of mine put on this video when we were there with a group of diverse musical tastes ..it has to be one of the few moments I've experienced with friends, that nobody said anything during- and when it finally ended, everyone remained quite for about a minute All of us were simply in awe
I forgot why the keyboards on here were so good. LOL Kevin Moore came and hung out. The most interesting guy in DT. Kevin was like a DeGarmo. Wrote a lot of the music, and experimental, yet brilliant chops on keys, and then left to pursue other honorable disciplines. A true legend, like Scott Sterling. :)
Thanks for uploading. This DVD is impossible to find. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could. This album is criminally underrated. So great to see Zonder playing.
+Patrick Puffer Dude this is easily their best work. This album inspired folks to push the envelope. Weird how Dream Theater decided to release a concept album 3 years later... :)
My wife and I met Ray after in Pennsylvania. Really great guy. One of my biggest influences, I sang for years. My guitarist and I tried to write like FW. It was pretty good. One of the best times in my life. We played in Rochester, NY, and I kid you not people were singing to our songs!! F'n awesome. Here's another one. 3 mths ago I find out Ray is one year older than me, to the day, yea we share our birthday, WTF!!! Talk to you soon. Have a great day.
Is it the same person playing bass here and in the Still Life cd? In Still Life he really lets loose on the bass at 4:45, but here he plays it like the studio version.

Mark's drumming is such a treat! this whole album is a gem, start to finish.
This album set the standard back in 1997 as the ultimate concept album. Heavy, melodic, killer melodies... This album had it all..
+thegougeman Its still the standard as is Fates Warning.
I saw APSOG live in '97 at a small club in Fremont, CA. Got to see these guys 4 times.
Wow, same goosebumps as the first time I heard/saw it!
Absolutely amazing song and talented band. Ray Alder's voice powerful!
Absolute masterpiece!
I still have this on VHS, wish I could land it on DVD or Blu Ray.
Tears EVERYTIME.
