In the game Magik mentions her brother Collosus who I hope is playable. However, did anyone else see the "Story Mode" button on the Lore pages? I'm hopping we get a PvE mode that revolves around the story.
Given this game seems squarely aimed at giving OW2 a run for it's money, I wouldn't be surprised if they add PvE just because OW2 dropped it, like how Rivals is 6v6 instead of 5v5.
I could see Odin being similar to Thor in the way Thors kinda a mix of duellist and tank Odin could be a tank support maybe giving extra health not outright healing
There have been characters datamined as coming. Some of them pretty complete. I've seen a video of Captain America showing his team up power with Thor. His shield gets electrified. Black Widow is going to a be a sniper style character, based on her data mined powers. I haven't seen any hint that Doom(s), Knull or Dracula are going to be playable characters, they seem to be primarily narrative bad guys. But Loki is also positioned as a minor bad guy with the Yggsgard maps, and he's in the game. So who knows what the future might hold? It seems unlikely that they wouldn't include Wolverine and Deadpool, as both are super popular. The only trouble is how to work their regeneration abilities so they aren't overpowered. They'll probably be lacking in movement abilities so they can't just dip out easily to heal up after getting hurt some the way some melee heroes like Spider-man or Magik can. Though if they do get Wolverine and Colossus in the game I NEED their team up to be the Fastball Special.

Most of these characters have been leaked to be joining like Cap, Blade, Wolverine, and a handful of the other characters in the video but characters like Miles, Deadpool, Jean Grey, and Ghost Rider haven’t been leaked yet so I’m rly hoping they come later on
I'd imagine Miles being added is just a matter of time. He's one of Marvel's most popular and globally recognized heroes now. Prob will be a while since the game is launching with three Spiders, but eventually I think we'll get him.
They’re not mentioned in any kind of teasers but I have two heroes who I’d LOVE to see in Rivals one day. Polaris and Wiccan. I love the House of M and the fact that Magneto and Wanda are already in game and are father and daughter are so hype. I could imagine Polaris being a dps and Wiccan being a support and because the two have the same powers as Magneto and Scarlet Witch respectively it would be cool to see the devs take those powers and refit them into classes outside of Magento’s tank are Scarlet’s dps. And the team up potential would be insane! Polaris could probably get the same Metalic Chaos from Wanda, and maybe Wiccan could grant Wanda a new or augmented ability or something.
So basically all of this info lines up with the leaks perfectly. So that means these that are teased are the closest to being done. I really hope psylocke is up next cause she was teased before thor/jeff the shark was revealed.

Only way the game gets still and stagnent is if they drop characters that ppl dont care for, or recycled characters like thor/jane or ironman/war machine or spiderman 2099/spiderman basically a duplicate character but is obvisuly different

They should have did that and then added characters after that. Yes I know it’s basic and some other heroes/villains are cool but that woulda been a good starting roster/point.

Happy coincidence game was in development prior to the change from Kang to doom. Seems slightly inspired from some comic storylines

Serious question- why aren’t all the Avengers, Fantastic Four, majority of the X-Men and their respective villains (from the movies, let’s be real) not put in the game first thing?
They should have did that and then added characters after that.
Yes I know it’s basic and some other heroes/villains are cool but that woulda been a good starting roster/point.
I mean the games not finished yet it’s still beta I think they’ve done good so far honestly a good mix of popular movie characters and lesser known ones only in the comics

It’s not DLC when it’s a live service game AND all the heroes are gonna be free.
DLC= downloadable content
DLC= doesn’t mean payment either
