Yeah, I've been having a rough time trying to find a Slez commander I'm interested in building around.
There is that one kithkin dude, but I'm just waiting for wizards to print something extra weird and legendary in those colors. I have the same problem with Azorius, Simic, Sultai, Abzan, Temur, Esper, and Naya.
I used to have trouble with Golgari, Mardu, and Bant, but Slimefoot (the Stowaway) Aristocrats Control, Licia (Sanguine Tribune) Life Gain Aggro, and Rubinia Soulsinger Jank Faerietales are currently in the works.
I just recently built an amusing Adeliz (the Cinder Wind) Wizards Aggro, but I'm missing Melek (Izzet Paragon) and Arjun (the Shifting Flame).
The most interesting recent build I have is Rona (Disciple of Gix) Historic Toolbox. I'm running the 7 Dominaria sagas I can legally run in it, as well as Dragonlord Silumgar, Tetzimoc (the Primal Death), Arguel's Blood Fast, and a vast cornucopia of artifacts... especially the kind which can be sacrificed for value, like Commander's Sphere, Chromatic Sphere, Mind Stone, Wayfarer's Bauble, and Dimir Locket.
Quickling, Faerie Impostor, Ghostly Flicker, Undying Evil, Demonic Vigor, Voyager's Staff, and Conjurer's Closet are also essential so Rona D can take a trip to Menards, Lowes, or Harbor Freight to get tools from the bargain bin. I could put Nephalia Smuggler back in and try to make room for Eel Umbra, but I have too much value tied into the build's other strategies.
I actually had to kick a Rogue's Passage and a Time Sieve to make room for a Voltaic Key and a Trading Post, reducing the land count to 34, and taking more advantage of Unwinding Clock, Clock of Omens, and Strionic Resonator.
Lots of fun though. Most fun I've had with commander in a while.
I saw a bunch of white cards and some green cards I need for my current commander decks in this deck tech, so I'm glad I stuck with it to the end.

Mimeoplasm has a pretty cool gimmick, but I don't really find him personally impressive. I don't hate him, he just feels like cheat code in a videogame which was activated one too many times. Eventually you just want to shut the cheats off and set it to hard mode for a palate cleanser. Don't get me wrong though, I'm pretty sure the deck is fun to pilot.
I might like Muldrotha, but she kind of just sinks into the background for me, even though she's the one who makes just about all the toolbox stuff happen. Heck, one might even put Rona in a Muldrotha deck, but I feel like toolbox style decks are more meaningful if they're limited to one or two colors.

Humans are great (I have a foiled modern Humans deck as my baby). Sigarda is great (The Host of Herons box topper is absolutely gorgeous). You put them together and that's just twice as awesome.

I keep being tempted to make a Host of Herons deck - all the decks I want to build though end up being Selesnya and I only have so many Selesnya staples >.
