Ya know...you should win a journalism award. You historic adventures and discoveries are very interesting. Combine that with your charm and personality, this is unmatched in historical journalism. Anyone from cable TV paying attention to this channel?
Believe me, the last thing she needs is to have some outfit running her life and taking credit for her video content.
@@tomfrye9037 Yes I've stated before....she's too good for Hollywood!
My wife died nearly two years ago so my daughter looks out after me and I was watching Wonderhussy Adventures on UA-cam. She comments "Dad, what are you watching?" I will admit I originally watched you because you were pretty but now I watch you for the last couple of years because of the content of your videos. Keep putting them on UA-cam.
I completely "Get It" Tom.....I raised my hand Too....WH Is The Quintessential Tour Guide! She "Checks" off All Of The Boxes!
Tom, I agreed!
But she still Pretty!
like 'watching' playboy for the articles... yea for WH!
Hey Tom I am in the same boat you are, lost the love of my life after 47 years not quite 2 years ago to cancer. I watch all kind of travel shows and I agree Wonderhussy is one of the good ones, my daughter also has come to take care of me and yes she said the same thing, what are you watching dad. I said I have been living my life through UA-cam travels and watching the life I had hoped to live with your mother in our retirement , now with a tear in my eye I wish you the best of luck Tom in finding a new life. If you are listing in Wonderhussy, Thanks so much.
That’s got to be so tough for you. She is pretty & has an awesome personality. She’s a unique person. I get nostalgic for home watching her travel throughout the West.
me and my great grand daugther BROOKLYNN are watching you she seven years old and she like your blog!!!!!!!!!!!
200,000 abandoned mines....200,000 abandoned cabins:)
199,900 to go:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
The Crazy Dave & Sherrie reference when you were looking at the romance novel was hilarious. Thanks.
Cool cabin and enjoying the video and watching now awesome video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👌😎❤️ video wonderhussy
Good morning Wonderhussy. Have a great week.
Your videos literally save my life. I’m not even kidding. Thank you for all of your adventures!! There’s no way I can do any of this and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you 🥺❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻👏🏻
If it snows there, the cat litter might be for traction under the tires in case they start to slip/slide on the ice and snow. An old trick I used growing up in Chicago :)
So you ain't getting there without a 4 wheel drive! Good idea to cover the name on the sign Sarah. It took me 3 minutes
of googoo searching but I found it. Little hints here and there always help. Very nice place with lots of things around there
to explore too. Nice place way out in the middle of nowhere indeed!
Hey Sarah you stay safe on all your trips. Love your videos!
Great video. Always enjoy your exploits.
Sarah, You make Wednesdays special! Thanks.
What a cool cabin!! Your right...looks like it’s better suited for a group of people rather than just one person, but then.....the peace and quiet would be wonderful. Anyone with their dog could just cozy down or explore to their hearts content! Looks wonderful WonderHussy!! ❤️❤️❤️🦋🦋
I enjoy Wed., knowing you'll be there with new videos, Ty for all your hard work, stay cool !!
DAMN Mate, looks toasty where you are. But I’ll take it in a heart beat! It’s chilly back here. Sending another Aussie Care Package coming your way soon but different yummy stuff. But thanks for keeping us Wonderhussy troops entertained again. Always awesome posts mate. 👍🇦🇺😁❤️🤪😜🤩
Yes , God did create all the Beauty this Earth 🌏 has to offer
Nice volunteer cabin
Wonderhussy is changing the definition of hussy, not at all ill-behaved, brazen, immoral, or mischievous but rather is careful to follow all the rules
In Alaska, there are cabins all over with the same, use/take what you need and leave what you can. I was blown away by this camaraderie concept as it wasn’t practiced here in the lower 48. Then....I discovered your channel...and it is the same, at least in DV. Very cool.
Lets hear it for Trona!!! MY birthplace!!!
a good day for one of your videos, well any day is a good day for one of you videos lol
Went there in December 2016. We were warm and cozy in the cabin that cold night. Had a great dinner of Dutch oven chicken. It was the first time, for my then 4 year old son, to stay in a volunteer cabin. I have also camped around the corner next to the mine. Its my second favorite cabin. My first favorite has running water and is near a ''bridge'' and a ''rock'' that takes a lot of courage to wheel.
Yep those two cabins are actually the nicest in the valley in my opinion. I've got really old videos of them on my channel if you care to look. I've done "that rock" in my Blazer before they fixed it up the way it is today. Then it was REALLY scary. And the bridge was actually made from telephone poles. That was fun too.
As always you make my day! Wish we could've seen the cat.
Sarah,
I kinda like cabins with a "rougher" character as long as they are rat/mouse free but
it's good to know that there are people who care enough to maintain this one.
Cheers,
Rik Spector
mouse-free is the hard part.
I love seeing what you put out in Wednesday’s! This one didn’t disappoint, very nicely done, thanks!
I was there over new Years (20210 and left a bunch of supplies. Thank you for not disclosing the name of the place so it gets overrun and trashed. It is one of the better cabins , but not the BeST!, one out there. It is pretty clean and no Hanti-virus worries. I always leave a spray bottle of water and bleach. A quick sweep then a squirt or two to kill any virus bugs and and you are good to go!
Man... I would love to stay a night or 2 in this cabin. Sad how people keeps these gems as secret.
See you around, onward bound
Always in my backyard. I’m out there every Wednesday in my air conditioned red and white propane truck. Had a very vivid daytime UFO sighting just south of Minietta road two years ago.
Thank you wonderhussy! I always ♥ your videos keep them coming.
Thanks for respecting Old Glory. How special that flying our National Flag indicates occupancy! Keep making' these wonderful vids girl!
It would be great to bring some paint up there and do a mural on those walls. I bet Sarah could make an amazing contribution.
The willies-overland jeepster was made from 1948 to 1950.
Thank you for your report.
Very interesting place.
Thanks SJ
The OCD part of me wants to zip-zap some clear hard plastic over those paper relics.
Great video! Board northern Indiana guy just came across your vid and loved it ! Your so cool and funny . Good job kiddo ! So interesting . Thank you .
Yay...Wonderhussy wednesday😁
"Girl I'm just a jeepster for your love, I'm just a vampire for ya" Marc Bolan aka T Rex
wow you have the best job going i love how you treat the cabins that you go to every week i end up laughing already looking forward to where you go to next take care and have fun on the way
Great video, Sarah. I really enjoyed that one. You should have a contest where one of your subscribers get to go on an adventure with you. You have a wonderful weekend.
Those pics of Rattlers was there to keep them there varmints away!
The WILLYS Jeepster were 1948 to 1950 with leftovers selling as 1951. All were 2 wheel drive and had no roll up side windows but plastic and fabric inserts. All were convertible.
Two videos in one day that’s amazing keep going girl we love your content
Always wanted to see Death Valley...been a long held dream of mine! Its nice to see some of it...thanks Dear One!!!
I like this cabin the best of all you've shown!
It's not hot it's just you LOL
Love the volunteer cabins....kudos and heartfelt thanks to all who donate their time and resources to keeping these disappearing pieces of the past 💖💖💖. And thanks along with kudos to you, Wonderhussy, for taking the time to find and research these cabins and retell their stories. Keep up the awesome work....we're right with you wherever you wander...💖😁
Hey Wonderhussy, them old National Geographic mags, the old Coca Cola and car ads in them are worth some money. Next time ya find some, carefully cut them out, stick’em in a cheap frame and flog them of for about $20.00 -$25.00 USD ea. Those old ads are popular back here in antique & collectable shops around Melbourne. I’ve bought quite a few. But the older the ads the better and condition counts too. Just saying mate.👍😁🇦🇺🤪
I'm just going to have to find this cabin, it's cool, maybe bring a friend. 👍❤🇺🇸
Another great video and cabin!!! Take Care and Stay Safe Wonderhussy!!!!
cool cabin
Beautiful cabin! And your videos could never be too long, you keep me sane. 😎
We are well short of hot springs in the UK and also abandoned miners shacks volunteer maintained. That is such a cool thing. I love the fact that random people just bring food, water and comforts that they leave behind for other people. Such a good tradition. Green with envy. I'm on a personal quest to find some of the most deserted places on Earth, thinking remote islands in Fiji and Micronesia for the end of this year. Hooked up and going with an old Uni friend who has also traveled extensively and she has the same wanderlust as me. Love your channel wonderhussy. Great inspiration to just go out and explore. BTW check out blended sea moss with pineapple juice. You have to mix the two. Have felt like 10 men since Sunday. My GF got me into it and I'm so glad she did. Go for it.
I live near wonderhussy
I go to all the same places she does. In fact I've lived here longer than her. If you ever decide you want to take a trip here, you can rent a Jeep and I would be happy to help you plan your trip if you want to see some of the things you see here. You can still plan your own trip. But I can direct you with specific directions and how to find some of these places. Plus all my favorite places.
You could end up with the trip of a lifetime. And I don't want anything for it, and I'm not trying to weasel in on your holiday.
Hi There WH--SJ. OK, Ya, I thought it Best to Proclaim One More Time about that 'Dorkburger' (eric?) Who scribbled some negative comment in the logbook when You were In a Different Cabin up the road a few days ago. SCREW HIM. You Go Wherever You Want To Go. 'You Are The Best'✌😎👍🌝🖐
@ Vincenzo DeMarco / Thank You for the great comment."
I wonder if 'Eric' was at this cabin.🤔
Yes!!! Thankfully it is Wednesday Wonder Hussy day scrumpsters
Beautiful...
Nice job on correctly folding Old Glory. Most folks would just wad it up…
Yay another fabulous adventure!!
The Jeepster was made from 1948-50
Sarah is beautiful 🤩 inside i’am glad 😀 that you went inside to tour the inside of the cabin
That cherry lipstick smile you have is absolutely beautiful. Well done video as well. Thanks for sharing your story.
Love the newer intro btw!.

Glad you had a nice visit! Drive carefully on the road to your next stop.
Thought this video was Dessert Cabin! I got happy in the pants.
Love your videos would like to do some supply runs to help and get out of my house and see the places you bring to are enjoyment
Looks like a pretty nice cabin.
awesome cabin for sure and the view all day and night 🇺🇸 shroomz
Love the way they used particle board to effectively build a cabin in a cabin to seal it up and keep the critters out.
It took me 23 min to confirm that this is Minnnietta cabin. Lol! Beautiful place! I hope everyone who visits takes care as they should.
Quiet 😀, that's meant to be a secret , and a challenge to find
14:58 Rusty old artillery shell for a doorstop, right next to the stove. Hopefully it was a training round. Otherwise, it might create a racket while folks are trying to sleep.
nice place
What no Duck Tape travel's 👍🇺🇸
What’s the cat litter for you asked Wonderhussy? Well it’s for cats to take a dump on mate. Interesting eh?👍🇦🇺😁🤪😝🤩🌹
Jeepsters we’re made from around 1948-53? And always reminded me of 4 WD MG’s open touring vehicles.Still do😀
I had a 1969 Jeepster Commando and they continued to make them into the 70's but they changed the grill etc.Mine had a Chevy V6 so it would really go for an early Jeep
Such a cool girl ,don't let anyone tell you otherwise !
The Jeepster is highly coveted by collectors. That OSB wainscoting would be unaffordable in today’s lumber market/climate! Answer: B-25.
Love the video! And I thought this was Tuesday. Lol. Wwwwhhhat?
When I saw this dedication to Don Peterson at 4:05 I kiddingly said to myself "I bet this group's official "house drink" is Dr. Pepper (DP) as a toast to Don Peterson when they gather. Then at 10:18, well whaddaya know!
Cat litter is an old trick if you get stuck in the snow, to get traction for your tires ☺️ I’m sure that’s why they keep it up there.
Carpet samples work much better then cat litter, which gets gooey, sticky, and I have used carpet samples under my RV drive wheels to get out of soft sand. So many uses for carpet samples.
You mentioned you had several different size bakeries. You can bring a fully charged one with you to any and all the places you go
At least a week is no big deal for a prime spot.
Content you just are lucky to know about what a wonderful channel 👍
Stove Pipe Wells!
The rusty rifle is the remains of a BB airgun. Also, was hoping you'd mention the little toy glider.
i whas there last week i see my coffee its there to what i see n but its beautyful there
Just -adorable !!! ⚡️🎭🇺🇸😀
Maybe the next time there will be a new outhouse! Never know.
I found that Cherry Harry movie, and yes there is a cabin that looks like this one in it. Looking at the cabin from the end raise up on the rock wall, there is the mountain behind it and the structure coming out to the right behind it just like this one. Does seem to match up.
Minnietta cabin .cool place
I enjoy all your video,s great work doing the videos 👍👍
Hello Hussy, great video.
You should go & visit Brent @ Cerro Gordo. Ghost Town Living.
Small solar powered swamp cooler with a couple car batteries would make this place nice during the summer. Carry some water for the swamp cooler and it would cool the place down.
Sarah, just finished your Historic Desert Mine Cabin plus walk in Las Vegas Strip. I just LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. 👍👍 I know it’s not possible but sure wish you could upload a video EVERY DAY !! Best to you on your ventures and stay safe !!!
That's really such a cool place.👏
I remember you driving up there and finding it occupied, At long last you get to poke around. Too bad it's too hot to stay in it. Loved the video, Thanks a heap for sharing it.
Much love from northeast Missouri.
