Camping alone in a very remote part of Death Valley at a very cozy little volunteer-maintained cabin in a beautiful Joshua tree forest. I explore the cabin and the mine...and then I get kind of lonely, so I try to contact passing UFOs by playing the Close Encounters theme on my new Artiphon Orba.

Imagine being a guy like Eric. Even when you are all alone, you still have to find a way to be hurtful and hateful. Such a shame. I am glad you had a good time and thank you for bringing us along
Hey Eric, next time, leave a note to the people who don't know how to fold a Flag and leave trash in the fire pit and around the cabin. So people like Wonder Hussy doesn't have to be the only one following Leave No Trace.
I love that you are respectful to our flag.
The ironic part is Eric is also a 'social media type'. Don't let him get you down. Nobody can claim the desert. Hearing you go out of your way to mask the locations of the spots you travel has always been a struggle for me. I know you respect the status quo of the cabin or hot spring but it makes all this adventure exclusive rather than inclusive. If I don't have friends to tell me where these spots are and I don't have unlimited time to explore for myself I would never have a chance to go. Not sure which side of the fence I fall on that one but it seems like people who want to keep it 'in the know' just want to keep it for themselves. As much respect as you try to give, there will always be Erics/Karens out there. Eric: it's a volunteer cabin, dude, not your private bugout bunker.
Don't let downer Eric's comments get to you, I think your a delight, and be happy like u always are.
Sarah Jane, I'm an old granniemaw in middle Tennessee and I'll never get to that cabin in Death Valley. Poo to Eric who dissed on you for your explorations. If it weren't for you I would never get to see such a cool place. Thank you for sharing your time with us. :-)
Probably the only way I will ever see most of these places out west is thanks to Wonderhussy, so I have two words for "Eric!"

You don't expose where places are, you're just an amazing person to share where you go. It takes a lot courage to do what you do. Don't let anyone rain your parade. Dear WH, Don’t let someone like “Eric” get you down. I adore the desert but don’t live anywhere near it and life just can’t let me get to it as much as I’d like. Your videos allow me to travel with you and I learn an enormous amount of information from you and your endeavors. Someday, if Karma is real, Eric will find himself stranded at a remote cabin in the desert and just when he feels like all hope is lost, Wonderhussy will show up and save his grumpy ass. Life is funny like that. Thanks for all you do and please know that you bring an awful lot of joy to many people every single week. In my book, that makes you the big winner.
