That’s wonderful news, congrats on the new job! Ormaie has great fragrances and I just love the bottles too! Opera is the ultimate ‘black tie’ fragrance to me, I adore it too.
Why do you feel the need to finish them? Do you have a local perfume group where you could swap the sets for others? I send mine on to others and then others send me stuff. I don't like to accumulate too many samples.
Wonderful news on your job! Congratulations to you! Yay on the discovery kit from Ormaie and I can't wait to hear your thoughts. I love the Tauer 02 fragrance and just bought my second bottle. I think it's so nice.
Thank you! I have talked about Ormaie in previous videos, check them out. They might not be in-depth reviews of each one but I know now which ones I really like and not. Les Brumes was the only one I felt like I didn't like at all. Most of them are really nice, but only a few full-bottle worthy.
Well done on the job😃 re the house, has the real estate agent asked the buyers for feedback after viewing ? It might help you to understand why it’s not selling. Have a lovely Christmas if you don’t get a chance to do another video before then. 🧑🎄🥳🇦🇺
Thank you! Regarding the house, these are some tough times with high interest rates. She told me from the start that this would take months. Some families are worried about my house being too close to the train tracks. I can't do too much about that. I think I have done all I can do. The broker has been sloppy, though. Not happy with her work. She has made too many mistakes in this process.
Congratulations on your new job! Over half my collection are travels and decants. I have been adding 8ml decants from Pafory and buying travels instead full bottles.
Hi Kicki! I'm so happy about your job! Remember I mentioned I was in love with a sample of Reve d'Ossian by Oriza L. Legrand? Well I only had a tiny 1ml vial and the second time I went to wear it, when trying to get that darn vial cap off, it flew out of my hand and spilled on the desk so I ended up frantically sopping it up with my arms, lol. Sadly, though it smelled so nice, it didn't last at all, so either I need a larger sample next time or it's not a good performer. I got a lot of talked about perfumes in tiny vials to try and honestly, it was not very fruitful. I wasn't wowed by the likes of Gris Charnel, Velvet Tonka, Poets of Berlin and Mango Skin was just terrible. These samples really add up too. I did find a great deal on a full bottle of Electimus Persephones Patchouli and went for it. I guess I do like patchouli but it has to be a certain style. Baby Cat was also ok as was Ingenious Ginger and I loved Ylang Ylang Nosy Be. I am all over the board lately with what I am wearing this winter. oxJulia
Thank you, Julia. I think Persephones Patchouli is a pretty soft patchouli. Interesting to hear your thoughts about all of these modern niche fragrances. Ylang Ylang Nosy Be is really good. Good brand! But I tend to get bored with floral fragrances, so am hesitant to buying a bottle. Will try to get a decant!
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 Hi Kicki, I think full on fruit is not my thing and if I smell pickles with the sandalwood, which happens a lot for me, or it leaves my skin in only a few hours, I am not interested. Gris Charnel gave me pickles in the opening, but it settled and was pretty, just not that memorable. I got a 2ml decant of Ylang Ylang Nosy Be so since I have the gorgeous (to me) Embruns D'Ylang from Guerlain, I probably don't need another Ylang forward perfume. The Guerlain has me thinking of it and wanting to wear it all the time lately! It's winter here but I think it's not beachy, so I can easily do that. Have a nice week! oxJulia
Congrats on the new job, so exciting! :) It's a really though time right now on the Swedish housing market, but the new forecasts are looking good, the interest rate is supposed to go down soon (fingers crossed). Daphne sounds amazing, it has been on my to be sampled list for ages.
Congratulations on the new job! I am glad to hear that things are starting to come into place. I retried the Frustration a few days ago and I got a Gris Charnel vibe with toasted chestnuts. The Blanche Bete is still not working for me..I retried it yesterday, Hope it works for you
I really like Bois d´Armenie, that smokiness and bezoin hmm. I have a small decant of Opera, I can´t wear this one, it wears me 😄 The one I am enjoying a lot lately is Material. I had a decant which was bad I guess, I used to get a plastic smell. Then I ordered a second decant because What I was hearing everywhere was very different from what I experienced and I am glad I did. It is confort in a bottle. I am not sure about a bottle but a 5ml decant should be ok for this winter.
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 yes, I like to try unique perfumes (unique for me) but what I like to wear myself is most of the times more common😊 and it is very enveloping in the cold indeed
Beautiful wears, your new work colleagues are in for a treat. Be interesting if any of them pick up on it. Re: Prada-Infusion d’Iris there’s an absolue version too, also if you can check out their higher line with Purple Rain and Marienbad to name a few. Daphne is a great wear, seems like there’s a newer version released, it was almost impossible to find a couple of years ago.
I have been in management consulting and also run my own business in the food industry (started the first dinner kit service with ready planned grocery bags with recipes), but this new job in in consulting but it is different from what I have done before. The company is a Nordic version of Gartner Group.

Thank you. Our taste would probably be very similar if we lived in the same type of climate.
@@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 you are probably right!

a new year, a new life, life begins to bloom again!
Yes!
Congrats on the new job 🎉. ❤
Thank you!
I admire you as this year I've mainly bought discovery sets but i struggle to finish them despite overdosing 😢
Why do you feel the need to finish them? Do you have a local perfume group where you could swap the sets for others? I send mine on to others and then others send me stuff. I don't like to accumulate too many samples.
@thehonestperfumereviewer6336 So true. Thanks for the suggestions
Opera most beautiful perfume I ever smell ❤️
So nice to hear that!

Thank you for those recommendations! My decant of Daphne is of the newer formula. My friend recently bought a bottle.
In Britain we call it icing sugar, but I think they call it something else in the US 😊
Ok, thanks!
