Samosa - a delicacy in Pakistan at iftar during Ramzan. There are basically 2 types of samosa in terms of filling. One is mashed potato filling and other is this Qeema (of beef) filling
Fun Fact: Samosas is small bite sized. If it's that big(triangle sized) its Karipap(curry puff). I'm from Singapore. A big fan of yours. Try looking up for Karipap its something like what you replicate. Would definitely pay $3 for one although here in Singapore it costs onlt $1.50
Dude, again a nice video and a good, proper, easytodo meal! I like the fact you cook recipes that are not too familiar to me (and i guess to anyone else) So i've got a suggestion for yah: As the asians use fried unions to get a extra lil something in their dishes: I think pangrattato is realy underrated. It's a extra seasoning and bite in Italian recipes witch i did not see on Jamie's OR Gennaro's channel ^^ I'd love to see you cook with that :D
Back where i come from you can get this for less than half a pound each..but i reckon that because of different cost and price level between our two countries.
Your videos are the reason I love to cook everything you prepare is just flawless and fantastic and I'd pay about £4 each because they look absolutely magnificent
I can plug values into a converter and get the dollar equivalent, but what does like a fast food worker make in England? Having a sense of scale would help me improve my guesses. Those look awesome man
Depends though, if it is like him, and done by his own profits, you get some pizza or kebabs rock in, a group if six friends, Quid's in for that 15 minutes. Could be dead quiet all day after though.
okay, yesterday i craved samosas but the indian food home delivery was closed. I asked myself "how do i cook samosas?" and now you came up with this video. tomorrow i'll make samosas. Thanks for the video 💕
+Jasper Anderson I dont follow your logic, cant something be good even though there is better stuff out there? Why must everything be black or white, either or, etc. You only seem to have 2 end of the scales: amazing and gross, wtf? Normal people have 1 billion steps between gross and amazing.
Btw they cost about 50 cents for every mini one here. These are about 2x as big. Id say a bit more than 2x as much cause there is less dough and more filling so 5 euros for 4? Which id about 6 pounds i think
my fellow austrians probsbly didn't realize that a pound is worth more than a euro. For 7 euros you don't get much in Austria where as for 7 pounds you would probably get a full portion in the Uk
@@JiviteshMopuri I wouldn't brag about living in India. You have to remember it's all relative to how much people earn. Plus I dread to think what's gone into a samosa that's so cheap.
Man,i like your food very much,i try a few recepies from your show...my question is: if i want to open a restaurant to call it "Street Food Busker" in Romania, you will be mad at me??:)))
Well, you could try the recipe yourself... 0.66 lb. minced mutton; 40% fat (or choice of meat) 0.5 lb. potato; cooked and diced up to small size. 0.5 onion, diced 1 tsp. mustard seed, scant 1 tsp. red chili powder 1 tsp. coriander powder 1 tsp. garam masala 2 tsp. minced ginger 4 Tbsp. peas, frozen 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, or to taste salt, to taste pepper, to taste
***** I'm guessing your account represents the market? If so, can you suggest some resources where I can find out when events of different kinds take place? I would love to get there when something fun like Food Buskers recordings happen.
Who in their right mind would ever settle for buying one? I'm with the gorgeous girl, who thought they should be sold in batches of 3... For 3, I'd reckon a solid 9 quid on the street, along with a nice little dipping sauce maybe? ;)
"It doesn't matter if she's from Austria, she completely understands the currency!" LMFAO Someday I wanna go to the UK just to meet you and try your food bro, seems so delicious I would gladly pay thrice the value you reckoned xD
7 pound for all three would be a great value! Looked delicious. You can never go wrong with layered pastry!
Love your channel, so different and always fun to watch, that won't be on my menu ,but it certainly looks good
Thanks for sharing
These are my favorite street food. Love the recipe! So informative and fun

Greatest foodtube channel, food busker you're the best, fun, great food and easy cook "perfect"
+Hussein Jan agreed
John you are my favorite web Chef!^ All your dishes are top notch !
Looks so good! I love all of those wonderful spices. Just pass me a spoon, it would never make it into the pastry. :)

7 pound for 3 is right on me thinks.
God I'd love to see you cook live; you're hilarious and your recipes never disappoint!
+Food Busker Well I'm in Montreal, Canada so the chances of me being in Camden Town remain fairly slim. But if I'm ever around, definitely!

£8 for yours mate! But samosas *need* to be fresh cooked. Soggy, cooked five hours ago samosas get nil point. Excellent as ever Mr. Busker!
Oh yeahhhhhh......another tasty food, love your recipes ..........thanks a bunch :)
I was watching this and thinking...I need to deep-fry more food.
+ThisIsMyFullName Everything is better deep fried...
Food Busker that is not how you rap a somosa
Looks really tasty! What would you use as a vegetarian substitute for the lamb meat?
Just use chickpeas. Well you can use vegetarian mince.
Do you only cook in London? I'm visiting Europe in January and would love to see you... Anyways you're the greatest man!
Back where i come from you can get this for less than half a pound each..but i reckon that because of different cost and price level between our two countries.
Amazing mate looks great
Woo congratulations, these look great.
And yes couldn't agree more about simply eating away at that mince meat all night long.
not enough filling. samosas can't be so thin and doughey
Dude less is more...too much filling doesn't let the dough crisp up
@foodbusker Where did you get your chefs jacket? Thanks!!!

+Paintplayer1 most likely min wage so £6.50 an hour
Thanks, puts it in perspective nicely.

When you say ground coriander, do you mean the dried leaves or the seeds?
okay, yesterday i craved samosas but the indian food home delivery was closed. I asked myself "how do i cook samosas?" and now you came up with this video. tomorrow i'll make samosas. Thanks for the video 💕
Don't make these, they are going to be gross
Jasper Anderson Why?
+Food Busker I just think there are much better recipes out there

Could you possibly do a few more vegi dishes please? love the videos man!:)
If you don´t want to chop onions and cry you can use "Eazy onions" from EuroCebollas.
Thumbs up... it should be worth a try for sure, man.
inspiring recipe, old boy! I've done empanadas with the filo dough. it's an easy shortcut, indeed.
+Food Busker I'm so honored!
Well done. Those look delicious. Make a chutney as well to top it off.
What can be a replacement for the green peas?
Come to Stockholm Sweden an busk some brother!
You need you own televised cooking show.
In my country we pay R5.00 for a fresh samoosa (local spelling), which equates to £0.30!
Did the same but replaced potatoes with goatcheese :D
Could you change the lamb for beef +foodbusker
They look well nice.
Haha great girls from Austria! They got you! :D
Btw they cost about 50 cents for every mini one here. These are about 2x as big. Id say a bit more than 2x as much cause there is less dough and more filling so 5 euros for 4? Which id about 6 pounds i think
IrmaU94 5 euros are not 6 pounds
I really want to show you how to do folds with filo pastry or spring roll pastry. The filling is good but those triangles can be better. 😣😢
+Food Busker would feel honoured to show you! I'll show you both flour and pastry. Would love to be taught cooling by you? Deal?
my fellow austrians probsbly didn't realize that a pound is worth more than a euro. For 7 euros you don't get much in Austria where as for 7 pounds you would probably get a full portion in the Uk
Why don't you have a cookbook? If you do why can't I find one.
i know what i be eating tomorrow! YUM!!!
+Food Busker gorgeous ! 5 quid each so good id say thanks for the recipe
The English are killing it, Man!
Nicely done again. $3.00 American, no problem. Keep sharing these delicious video's. Blessings ChefMike
i think £1 each is a good price, as they are made of lamb, and I know you can buy bigger vegetable samosas for £1 each from Indian shops
Here in Vancouver I can get the best samosa at Sug Sweets for 75¢ each.
+Jade Bone not to brag but here in India i get it for 0.1 quid each :p
Niiiiiicccce
@@JiviteshMopuri I wouldn't brag about living in India. You have to remember it's all relative to how much people earn. Plus I dread to think what's gone into a samosa that's so cheap.
@@Matt19matt19 well you answered yourself there. It is cheap because of said economics of that country.
It is samsa. I am from Russia and we have a lot people from middle Asia, who are cooking samsa.
watching this video while on a juice cleanse...smart!!!
thanks for sharing Indian recipe in new version
nightblue3 of the cooking show
Man,i like your food very much,i try a few recepies from your show...my question is: if i want to open a restaurant to call it "Street Food Busker" in Romania, you will be mad at me??:)))
7/3 = approx.2,33 quid. you would've been safe if you did the #basic_maths_bruv
I've done the math food busker and you still win 0-3 because 7 ÷ 3 =2.33333333! BOOM
in india they r available for 0.18 pounds per piece
What exactly is the difference between lamb and mutton?
+PsychosisFlowers Lamb is baby sheep, mutton is mature sheep.
Well, you could try the recipe yourself...
0.66 lb. minced mutton; 40% fat (or choice of meat)
0.5 lb. potato; cooked and diced up to small size.
0.5 onion, diced
1 tsp. mustard seed, scant
1 tsp. red chili powder
1 tsp. coriander powder
1 tsp. garam masala
2 tsp. minced ginger
4 Tbsp. peas, frozen
1 Tbsp. lemon juice, or to taste
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
I would pay let's see carry the 2...£20 per samosa !!! that seems fair right?
now put this into a burrito size, and i'll eat it all day :D
Tried it, nothing like a real samosa, but pretty good.
TWO POUNDS EACH!? We can nice authentic ones for a $1.50 in here where lamb is significantly more expensive than the UK. $0.75 if their vegetarian!
10- 15 nok is what they go for in norway XD
Chef... I was about to say that those girls might have said that price for THREE samosas! And it turned out I was right!
Make Corn dogs please
Are these filmed in the camden market?
Cool. I've been told it's the place I will love the most in London. Really looking forward to visiting. :)
***** I'm guessing your account represents the market? If so, can you suggest some resources where I can find out when events of different kinds take place? I would love to get there when something fun like Food Buskers recordings happen.
Thanks. :)
***** Is there always a lot of street food there, or just during specific events?
That sounds awesome! I'm sure to come visit when I finally get around to taking that trip to UK. :)
lol we get these for like 20p each in Pakistan lol hahaha
I find this delicious as im pakistani
look very much like brazilian`s pastel =)
4 for 1 and 10 for 3
£3 each John- nice one!
1 pound for 4. Here in India.
AAAAAnd just a little bit more butter
You can get bigger and better lamb samosas with more filling for £1
BOOM BROTHER LOOKS TASTY
Hey you replied! Thats awesome!
£1, maybe less.
Samoosa's are popular in South Africa.
Who in their right mind would ever settle for buying one? I'm with the gorgeous girl, who thought they should be sold in batches of 3... For 3, I'd reckon a solid 9 quid on the street, along with a nice little dipping sauce maybe? ;)
for 1 mate no way i'll put 2 notes down .... 3 for 5 P would be a no brainer sell best choice
moist
That's English samosa 😛 But still looks delicious.
It's samposa and btw it's worth more than 2 pounds
Delish
3 seems fair.
food busker I would pay a France egg because a it's enough
"It doesn't matter if she's from Austria, she completely understands the currency!" LMFAO
Someday I wanna go to the UK just to meet you and try your food bro, seems so delicious I would gladly pay thrice the value you reckoned xD
I would put much more filling in there
3.50
If it's 7 pounds for all three, you still win. Lol
really less filling wrong way to prep but good try we get 20 about your size of samosas for 4pounds.
pagaría 1500 pesos chilenos por unidad y me estoy arriesgando xD
I love indian food ;) btw I am pretty sure that samosa is not that big :(
10
£0.50 each
2.5 euro
so beautiful
I hate peas!
AUSTRIA
I would pay 3,50.
$3.00
£6/7 for a samosa?! And it's not even a good samosa 😂😂😂😂😂
+Shahela Ahmed How do you know it is not good? I didn't see you there tasting it.
+Shahela Ahmed i think they meant for all three. so the corrected score would have been 2-1 (still a win but no 3-nil)
+Jeffery Green half of it is empty...
6/7 divided by 3 is still 2 pounds or more, would still be 3-0
