A Side Rant About Water Leaks

An unedited aside from the other day I didn't intend to set to public lmao. The electrics on these trucks are really showing their age, with a handful of contributing factors for common failure points. But the myth it's related to the washer fluid line really needs to end in my option as I just don't see how it's possible. Enjoy this unintendedly public clip so future historians can cite me in some Wiki article as the mythbuster for this 20th ruse.

Grumman really should've encased the fuse boxes in these, like they are in most vehicles. For instance, why not put it under the dash near where the ECU is. There's a video here on YT showing a LLV starting on fire, and it definitely looked like it started in that corner near the fuse box. From what I've read like USPS is partly to blame, as they've added so much on that the original fuse boxes can't handle the current and there's lack of maintenance on many of them.

Funny enough there is an aftermarket metal shield/box for them just because of this. I've only ever seen a handful actually fitted in photos and never on any of the LLVs around here. Ultimately I may just end up deleting mine and using the modern sealed fuse box and harness from the newer S10 parts truck. It would be an upgrade all around and fits the chassis very well

You are correct, is that a 2.5 or a 2.2
2.2 are known to catch on fire.
You can tell what size engine on the middle numbers of the VIN for those who dont know.

It's a 2.2 but I'm swapping in an 4.3 instead
