I've always liked these built around the drivetrain instead of over the drivetrain so low to the ground. Not looking for a motorhome but this seems like as good an example as you could find. As with every motorhome that's a lot to go wrong. Many years ago we were looking at motorhomes but decided on a pull trailer instead at the time. On the internet it seems that the new flashy bus style motorhomes are having a lot of sometimes serious issues brand-new. This is maybe a more reliable alternative.
These ones are iconic and have a cult following. Not many made like it since. Around the same time Airstream mad an Argosy Class A. They are essentially the length of a Class B but the width of a Class A. Hard to find something similar nowadays
I worked at a Oldsmobile/GMC dealer that sold these new back in 1976/1977. Several coaches that had the anemic 403 engine had pre 1970 Oldsmobile 455's from wrecked Tornados installed in them huge difference in driving experience. Great coaches way ahead of there time. Smooth, handled well for size. Since this coach would have been built with the 403, did you install the 455?
Will you sell copy of thumb drive? Post price here. You have experience with unit set up a web page to buy parts and replacement parts. Would be of value to others who rebuild units. Some are replacing drive train with tesla salvaged parts. Tesla just announced a new motorhome at cheap price looks like gigapress Stainless steel maybe or just fiberglass
He looks nice, but at the end of the day. Just you put a lot of money into it. I fell you. I would sell it too. It's a money pit. My wife does all those things 😍. You need to upgrade that money pit. The apocalypse is coming. Keep it you'll need it!
Those vehicles were built in the 70s when REAL vehicles were made. They are kinda tank like. My brother owned a GMC dealership in Georgia for decades and he sold and rented these motor homes so I was very familiar with them. I wish I could buy this one. I would love to have it.
Beautiful old coach! 😍
Those are awesome and this one is in excellent condition and at a good price.

O u soo right . Money pit .
Love these! You’ve done so much to restore and improve this classic, it’s impressive. Unfortunate, I’m 3,000 miles away from Florida. Good luck 🤞
Very nice.
Why does it have a C4 Corvette steering wheel brah?
Yes. The urban assault vehicle. 😂
Whenever someone doesnt know what the "GMC Motorhome" is I reference Stripes when they are over 40 - under 40 Anchorman 2
You're not asking Enough
