Idk how but the algorithm decided to recommend you to me like 3 weeks ago and I’ve been binging to say the least. No loud music intro, no loud sounds. Relaxing camping trip. Love it!
I found him through b3ta. Always great for eclectic info/stuff on their links page.
Same!
Same here
Same!
I actually enjoy falling asleep to his videos.
I Love these videos, at 88 I know I wont be doing any camping but really enjoy seeing the outside and the countryside
Age is just a number, get out there! Even if it is your last haha
I am 74 and just bought an old van for one last trip. I am going in December.
@jakemosely9377 . Not just a number unfortunately, in my case at least. 78 and fucked.
I’m 83 with major heart stuff. But I’m up to 1 hour of gardening and 1/4 mile walking. Might make it to camping again yet. Keep working toward it.
Should have done a breakfast burrito haha ! 🌯
This is my favourite channel of this type. Great content and I love that you don't have silly music intros like other channels. Just nature sounds and talking, very relaxing.
You should check Steve Wallis out. He's a Canadian who doesn't stealth camping etc. Nothing fancy, just a honest, likeable guy tbh
@@rageplayer20 yeah, big fan of Steve's channel.
I love all of my White brothers and sisters.
May God bless us all.
Atomic shrimp has some nice content too walking in the woods type stuff
I wish more survivalist and bushcraft videos were as vocal as you are. I enjoy the commentary, the silence can be deafening on other channels
I think some ppl find it hard to find stuff to say
I to have found the silence to get really annoying
Just a man in the woods, by himself, enjoying himself, eating good food, cozy fire and the peace of rain. What else does a man need.
A dog
came here to say the same thing man@@steveffuksake
A beer
Porn
Or what else does a woman need?!
Brilliant photography.. cuts, and besutiful close ups, great set up, great story telling.. wow! Two thumbs up!
This is what I like about Andy he finds affordable stuff for people and is not always about high-end, expensive brands like other channels
Only rich people should be allowed to experience the outdoors.
If you like this kind of thing, look up camping with Steve
@@Mike___Kilo😂😂😂🤪
I love the sounds of the rain. It’s so calming. Thank you.
Me too. I feel so soothed when I hear it. Most relaxing sound.
Being disabled is very hard but I enjoy watching the way you go on camping trips ❤
My 6 year old daughter loves watching these videos with me. She likes to guess if you’re going to say the introduction- ‘hello everyone’
When I was a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism, I started out with an ordinary tent. Long enough, but not very tall.
Certainly not tall enough for me to get dressed in a 1480s era Italian Renaissance gown. For that, I needed a tent that I could stand up in.
What I found was a Market Umbrella, 6 foot radius, 8 foot pole (3 inches thick!). It had homemade walls that hung from the umbrella spokes .... And I Could Stand Up Inside!
Yes it was a bit drafty, but I just piled on the blankets.
You are a joyful man! Just what the world needs more of!
I stumbled across your channel about a couple weeks ago and have now watched nearly all your videos, easily one of the best channels on UA-cam mate 🤙🤙🤙
Must have a lot of time on your hands mate
It’s been a while…glad to see you back mate!
😮
I’m in Squirrel Cooker. Your videos have really inspired me and my son to get out and explore the great woodlands we have on our doorstep. We’ve learnt so much from you.
The algorithms threw your videos at me a few days ago, fantastic stuff dude, great content made by a great dude 😊
Your videos really inspire us younger generations to get our boots wet and enjoy nature
I'm in side pouch...we as a family have been watching your videos for the last 4 years . We all sit and watch normally while having our dinner😊 looking for a bike packing tent and the bobcat could just be it....cheers mate keep up the good work
I’m in side pouch! Glad to see you back, your videos are honestly the most relaxing I’ve ever found 😂
Andy your videos are amazing to come home to after a stressful day to unwind. Your calm centered nature has inspired me to start going camping thank you my good sir. Your impact is larger than you could ever imagine!
I'm in Side Pouch. Great to see you back Andy, we missed you. Lovely rain camp. ❤
I'm in for the Squirrel Cooker. You and Simon are my favorite English Bushcraft Channels.
I'm in Squirrell Cooker. Thanks for the opportunity. Always love your videos, have been a long term subscriber. Cheers
Really pleased you haven't caved to the inevitable VPN sponsors that approach channels like this.
I’m a woman and I enjoy watching your camping and cooking. You do some interesting stuff. Makes me feel I’m camping too
I'm in squirrel cooker! Been watching since early days! Hoping to start my own channel with my daughters this year! Learnt so many tricks and knowledge from your videos and I'm excited to put it all in to action 😊
That would be so nice ! I subscribed haha
Good for you mate, do it! Already got your first two subs! 👍
That's what a good few will be living in the way it's going 😢
Great video, very comforting. Even though it is a challenge it is worth it. Shelter, warmth food and a good night sleep. 😊
I'm in. Squirrel Cooker. Thanks Andy. Your channel has kept me entertained for a long time now. Your ability to cook fabulous meals in the wild is enviable. Take care.
I'm in side pouch. As always another awesome video. It's hitting 110° where I'm at in Arizona. So I try and get to the forest as much as possible. Thank you for what you do.
Great video, I enjoyed that. I’ve just had a OEX bobcat delivered today, what was the wide mat you squeezed in? I have a Trekology UL140 and hoping it fits 🙏
I'm in for the squirrel cooker. Great to see you back Andy, your doing great with the channel and showcasing British Bushcraft at it's best
I’m in pouch! Love the content brother, you’ve been inspiring me to get out into the outdoors for the last several years! Appreciate you :)
I'm in pouch. My whole family loves watching your videos and it's great to see you back in a tent
I'm in for pouch. Love watching you and Simon go on adventures. Also the cooking is awesome. Keep it up please.
I'm in pouch! Silent viewer but you are such an inspiration, class personality, incredible filmmaker and bushcraft extraordinaire!
frank ate the the cat. PRICELESS. MUCH LOVE TO YOU😼
Great to have you back ! Looking forward to updates on your trucks and cabin build !
I'm in for the pouch. Thanks to you, PD Leatherwork & TJM Metalworkd for your generosity.
I don't understand why there aren't floors in these tents...
Because that's just the outer, these tents have 2 layers they have the outer layer and then the inner witch is essentially just a smaller tent without any poles that gose inside there are clips on the inside of the outer that hold it in place
The inner has a floor, it's meant to make it better for wet weather as the water will have to go through 2 layers bit of witch are water resistant instead of just 1 layer, it also helps if the tent gets damaged such as if it gets a hole in it it's not really an issue as long as its only in 1 layer
Yeah, that's what I won't to know as well!
I'm in pouch, I've been watching almost 2 years now your videos are great for inspiration and help me unwind in the evening. Thank you for making these videos.
I’m in POUCH
I love watching your adventures. You inspired me to do my first tarp camp this summer. Looking forward to getting out again in the autumn building up to maybe trying a winter camp.
This man is the king of B roll I swear....those wet leaves looking fantastic.
Interesting choice of cooking and fire making gear. Even though my two wheel drive, two battery, dual suspension E- mountain bike can carry 400 pounds being an UL backpacker I carry far less eight when camping than you do. With food and 3 liters of water I carry no more than 35 pounds for 3 season camping. No hand axe, small 10" Gerber folding saw ,is the only addition to backpacking gear IF wood fires are not prohibited in my camping area. A small ripstop nylon bike tarp is also included.
I’m in squirrel cooker - really enjoying your content, so much we’re doing our first nearly wild camp this weekend 😊
I'm in squirrel cooker. Amazing tent for the price. I'm afraid I've given in to my desire to be able to stand up in a tent and have just bought a small palace for my ongoing camping adventures! Always love your videos Andy, thanks for the hard work you put into them.
I'm in pouch. New subscriber here, liking your channel so far!
I have bobcat too, and there are couple modifications to make this tent even better. 1st - you can shorten a pole by 2mm, that makes easier to pitch. 2nd - 2 extra guy lines at the back. That pulls rear outer even further out and makes massive difference inside. 3rd - not as modification, but oex expedition tarp works with this tent beautifully. I really recommend that!
Squirrel Cooker. Please can you send squirrels too, red and grey, we don't have them here in NZ. Great work, Andy, Andrea and me love your channel.
AP to you and your family your home looks Amazing I am so proud of how far you’ve all have come may God bless you all in your journey 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Looks like my old Phreeranger that I've had for over 30 years, except that there's a short cross-pole at the apex of about a foot length that helps improve internal volume. I loved this kind of tent because as the flysheet goes up first, you've got protection from rain immediately for yourself and your kit. Moreover, you can use it as a temporary bivouac in the event of a prolonged heavy downpour, then just collapse it, bag it and move on. The other difference is that my Phreeranger cost @ £250 and that was serious money for a one-man tent back around 1990...
I AM IN. Side Pouch I love your outings as I can no longer get out much. It helps to keep me young at heart. Thank you!
I just stumbled on to your videos and I love them as I watch camping with Steve also and I enjoy camping that SIDE POUCH would be ideal for me if I won. Thank you for everything you do.
I'm in for the Side Pouch! Absolutely LOVE your content!! You and Steve Wallis have changed my outlook on camping over the past two years.
Same, two of my favourite channels.
Miss u mark and Simon probably do a trio camping video in a favorite camping spot for all time sake ,share stories and inventions
I’m in. Pouch.
I love watching people from other countries make quesadillas.. too good!
I'm in pouch. Just recently started getting back into tenting, something I been wanting to do with my boys for a while. You've definitely been part of that inspiration 😄
Hey there! I stumbled upon a new project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 eBike and it's got some outstanding features. One thing that caught my attention is that it can be charged indoors! So you can stay fit and explore the outdoors all at once. The 750W motor and 80Nm torque seem pretty impressive too, allowing you to conquer any terrain. Plus, the puncture-resistant fat tires and waterproof finish make it perfect for any weather condition. I think this could be a game-changer for your adventurous tenting trips with your boys. Keep the inspiration alive! 😊
I'm not a solo camper but I am a family camper (Massive airframe tent and loads of kit on campsites 😲)
Gotta say I really like you demeanor and attitude, you capture camping perfectly without being an over the top enthusiastic, look at me kinda guy.
You've earned a sub and I look forward to seeing more of your uploads my friend!
👍🏻
I like the rain camping.
So glad you're back, you and Simon are my go-to videos when it's time to relax.
I'm in ! Pouch ! Yes please! ❤
Great videos, interesting setting and wildlife noises. Can't imagine camping without my dog... They make some awesome memories. Cheers from East Tennessee, USA.
I'm in pouch!
So glad to see you back, had us worrying 🤣 great video as always! 😁😁
There’s just something about your personality and style that keeps me coming back 🥰
Glad you're back, I missed you! Love your videos, Andy!
Pouch please. Just staring out going camping and I'd love to be able to cook my family a proper out door meal. Love the videos
Andy stop cooking such tasty stuff, You torturing us! amazing vid as always, and tent is awesome
I would put up your Tarp in front of tent s you can have a fire to warm your tent and sit in a dry area while cooking dinner. :c)
I’m in side pouch. Great watch good food I’m off wild camping soon just got back using my bobcat 1 for the first time excellent tent
One thing it has going for it is that you can put the fly up first and then put the mesh inner up inside it - and surprisingly cheap for such a well-designed tent. So sick of tents that force you to put up the mesh inner and then put the fly over the top - by which time the inner tent is well saturated by rain.
I'm in side pouch just moved to South wales so getting some kit together for a few wild camps
I love your axe 🪓 by the way Andy and I mo you a can buy these in any out door camping shops
I’m in dangler pouch , great to see you back out in the woods. The breakfast buttie looked just tooooo big, but hey, it’s breakfast , it’s allowed!!!!!
Side pouch.
Or
Pouch.
Perhaps I'm late, but worth a try.
I use a silky pruning saw - much smaller for carrying around.
Hermoso equipo de camping quisiera saber lo que sale me ase falta 1 😮😮😊😊
i know im late to this video, but those shots of the fire 19:17 - 19-27 were amazing, fun wholesome camping! keep up the videos.
I’m in side pouch, cheers and beers Mick Australia
Love your calm and beautiful videos x
Such a peaceful outing. Breakfast sandwich looked yummy.
I know it’s more of a camping and tents, however I really enjoy your cooking and expression after the first taste. It always looks so good as if I want to eat too. Thank you for your content.
I will say this Andrew mate . You know how to live while camping wild in the woods 😊
Ps you are making me hungry
One small thing…. The word "quesadilla" originates from Spanish, combining the word "queso" which means cheese, with the diminutive suffix "-dilla." Thus, "quesadilla" essentially translates to "little cheesy thing." This reflects the traditional composition of the dish, which typically includes a tortilla filled with cheese and then folded and cooked until the cheese melts. Over time, quesadillas have evolved to include various fillings like meats, vegetables, and spices, but the name remains a nod to their cheesy origins.
Hi from Indoensian here.. so enjoy with you hobby. I have same hobby outdoor activity.. Nice job
Im in side pouch and another amazing video faught the urge to watch it straight away and insted waited till i was out camping myself and im glad i did love watching your videos to the sound of the rain on my tent at night 😊
Good radom tip, get a baby monitor/camera,
You can place it hidden away from your tent and essentially just lay in the tent watching the live feed on the screen, most of them are designed to work in dark rooms so can handle the darkness and still give pretty good image quality obviously some better than others, very helpful if you hear things creeping around your camp site at night but arnt sure what it is as you can just simply watch the screen and see what it is, also helpful if you want to leave your camp at any point and are worried about people or foxes finding it, as long as you don't go to far you will always be able to watch what's going on, you can also set some of them up to give you alerts when there's movement so you don't have to constantly be checking it, you can also put the sound on to Hear things creeping around or people talking plus the ability to talk through the camera thus if anyone trys to steal your stuff while you are off having a poop in the cushty bush you can scare them off without having to rush around trying to sort your self out you can enjoy your poop knowing your tent is safe
Such relaxing videos...plus you seem a really nice guy too. Camping is such fun. What i love about living in the Uk, is that there are no bears etc...😳 to join you. X
!! Another GREAT video, thank you for trying different products, giving us awesome options. I am amazed at the meals you put together, delicious!! Truly enjoy your cinematography, great angles you capture!
Awesome video thanks so much for sharing.I absolutely love watching you cook. I’m always looking for new dinner ideas 💡 👍🏻💙🫶✌️✌️
Side Pouch, I recently found you on my feed & enjoy by to see you trying out all the tents (you make it look so easy). I love your dialogue it is relaxing - thank you for providing the info & I learn so much. I live in the US (Southeast Region)
The Squirrel Pot and Pan Hanger all the way. I can use this with my Scout Group to do some fantastic backwoods cooking.
I have the OEX Rakoon and found it to be brilliant.
I do enjoy watching what you do. Your voice is pleasant and you are very kind. Thank you for doing these videos! 🤍
Great to see you again. Whilst you were away, there was a woman showing us how to create those tins with rolled up cardboard and candle wax to use for fuel and light. I told her about your home made pellets using wood shavings, wax and crushed match heads and told her the source #kentsurvival. Bigged you up as well😁😁😁
Will go with Pouch, anyways this is One of my favourite UA-cam channel… Good to see this Channel is growing to next level
Side Pouch. Just found your channel and enjoyed this video so I have Subscriberd. Don't expect to win BUT still looking forward to your next video.
I'm in - Pouch. Good to see you out and about again 😀 Gearing up to head out again myself, in the Norwegian wilderness, that is. Keep up your great work 👍
I am in for SIDE POUCH Please . I have been flowing you channel for long time , love your videos mate . This is the first time I have commented on your video. Thanks
I'm in squirrel cooker! Beautifully made and very versatile for camp as long as you have a pot 😂 or something to skewer!
Really enjoy watching your videos. Cheers
Yes, I think these are great tents and outstanding value. Just one issue: don’t get one if you’re over 6ft tall (I am 6’5”).
UA-cam randomly suggested a video of yours a few weeks ago. Became a fan instantly. Greetings from Central Mississippi.
Just found the channel today. 9 hours later and I'm still watching the back catalogue 😅
Do you ever post up the footage from the trail cams?
New subscriber 🎉
Love the videos. I find myself making a cup of hot cocoa and watching one every night before bed. Very relaxing way to end a day.
This tent looks awesome!!! Bit on the expensive side at 220GBP though, and not available outside the UK at all from what I can see? Does anyone know how to get one outside of the UIK? This would be perfect for my son for scout rally’s, as he can’t handle a wet tent, and the fly-first design on this for under $1k is AWESOME (this has been a long-time problem for us)
