Hello Andy! I have this tent. It has served as both my backup tent and when I need rapid deployment. I usually go camping for a week stretch at campsites, and when the main door on my old Coleman could not zip up and could not be repaired, this Decathlon tent did the trick, and the reflective fly kept me warm on a 9 degree C evening, with no blanket over me. I really like the tent. One thing about blackout tents, not only do they keep the light from getting in, they also prevent light from escaping your tent and prevent the attraction of bugs at night. Thanks for the video and review! Cheers!
I agree. I’ve been camping and adventuring all of my life. When I can’t get out, I fire up one of your videos. Your smooth cadence and sense of wonder take me to a happy place. Well done indeed.
I have the same tent. It’s the best thing I’ve brought in years. I’ve used it in all seasons and it’s perfect. It doesn’t have anywhere to put guy ropes or included with. It is one of the heavier tent I’ve owned it but has to be light enough for my motorcycle. The dark & cool feature is amazing if you work/attend festivals as your normally going to bed at 4am+ with this tent you can sleep well into the morning without getting that warm at all even in direct sunlight. I’ve just used it for 14 days straight in Scotland and had some horrendous rain and wind and it held up absolutely perfectly. The zips seams and pockets are all decent quality. Only time will tell on the duration. I like it takes minutes to set up and pack down just roll it round and stuff it back in the sack. Really good features on this tent. No getting everything wet while setting up
To help with bugs you can use rosemary in foil pack make sure the rosemary is soaked and put it in the fire. I've tried it before and it does help with the bugs. Just an idea throwing out there for ya.
Neat. I live in the Yukon, and at this time of year it hardly gets dark at all. A blackout tent is a great idea for summer camping in the far north. Thanks for all the videos Kent.
I have a pop up blackout of the same brand and helps with hot summer camping aswell as they have a reflective lining. A northern european brand where we have short summer winters.
I have the same tent and love to camp with it, but not while hiking because it's so big and heavy to carry around. So for a festival or when you're with a car close by it's perfect. Super easy to set up (I've tested it on a 5 year old who could set the whole thing up by herself with ease, and break it down again as well) and the dark inside gave me that extra much needed hour of sleep in the morning as well even if the sun was up already. Love your video's by the way, you've got such a calming way of making videos. No fuss, no drama, and actualy enjoying whichever type of weather nature throws at you. Much thanks from your neighbour in the Netherlands. 😄👍
Thanks for all your great videos. Super addictive and educational! I went camping with my husband last week, he was completely amazed when I started a fire like a pro (Andy's style 😊) and started giving him tips on setting up the tent. Then I showed him a video of you. Now we are binge watching your videos together. 😂 Greetings from the Netherlands.
I used to sell tents and camping equipment a couple of decades ago. I remember the first 'instant' tents - Khyam tents. Use to sell them with a VHS video tape for people to watch prior to using them, as well as showing them how to set up the tent within the showroom. One buyer was very brusque, acted as though I was insulting his intelligence. Anyhow he never bothered watching the video. How do I know.........? He rang me about a week after buying it. He was in the South of France and wanted to know how to 'fix' his tent. He had managed to set it up inside out. When I told him the whole thing would have to be taken apart and put back together he wanted to me to go out and fix it. The showroom where I worked was near Manchester. I asked him had he watched the video (because he certainly hadn't paid attention when I did the demo) and he informed me that he hadn't but he had it with him. Obviously there was no way I was travelling to the S of France (he wanted me to pay for that myself) even if I could have fixed it. My advice to him was to find a camping shop and buy another tent.
Anytime I struggle with anxiety before bed I put your video’s on and end up falling asleep calmly. But that means I’m never able to finish a video because I’m knocked out by the end of it 🤣. Thank you ❤
We have the 3 person version of this. I'm disabled and it's brilliant. They even brought out an awning this year which is even better to keep our fridge and cooking stuff in. We go away for couple weeks at a time in ours and never had a problem in it. Love your videos!
Have that and used it twice for a 3-day music festival - once last year and once a month ago. Will use it next year as well, very comfortable for someone that isn't too much into camping.
I've been using this tent for 5 years and it' still perfect. It is warm when the weather is cold and fresh when it is hot. It's good enough for quite tough conditions in Russia. One more thing, this tent is absolutely lightproof, and it can give you a couple of extra hours for sleeping in the morning but also can cause claustrophobia and panic attack.
I have a Coleman popup blackout tent. Comes as a round shape and is a bit difficult to fold back up. But I really like it. I'm disabled and can't do a traditional tent. I only get to camp out on my porch but it's better than nothing. 😊😊

I have used this tent for the last 3 years as part of my motorcycle touring setup. It’s robust, very easy to use and remarkably quick to put up on arrival.
My son and I both have this tent and awning. We motocamp and the tent awning and sleeping bag gets strapped to the pillion seat on my motorbike so the weight isn't really a problem. I love the thick sturdy fabric and if you just let it collapse and fold the sides in you can roll it easily to fit back in the bag. My son did wake with a start in the early hours one night as the camp site cat decided to play with the cord on his tent and battered into the side a bit lol

you have really uped your video quality! I've always enjoyed your videos and they keep getting better and better. Many thanks for the enjoyable hours Mr. Kent!
I bought this tent last year for festivals and I love the ease of putting it up but I would probably not go hiking with it unless I could reduce most of my pack to a minimum. For a camping trip where you're relatively close to your car though it's awesome and they even make an awning/extra big vestibule for it you can buy as an addon. I'll test that at my next festival, see how much heavier things get with that.
I keep seeing ads for that 3 second tent. Didnt know it could be done a whole second quicker. Great video as always. Always inspires me to get back outdoors
I've owned and used (a lot) both the 2 second easy 2 man, and 3 man tents for around 3 years .... awesome tents, cannot fault them in any summef or winter situation. Only downside is the dark ... I likewise like to be woken up by the morning sun. Weight is fine for me ... under 5kg is pretty light!
I've been waiting for the 2-second tent video! Hate to say it, but the commercials do it more justice as apparently there ARE instructions. One pull and it opens. Have to agree about that lack of light coming through though. That's half the joy of tent camping, but I insist on white or beige tents because the light inside is then natural and cheery rather than sickly green and depressing. Good vid.
Also great to see your old Opinel has not retired yet Andy. Great video as always. My daughter needs that tent as she always enjoys a lie in, until the sunlight forces her back outside lol. 👍🤣
If really you want to make it a 'stealth' camp you can always throw on a camo net or a cover. But I do think that Decathlon should make these in camouflage because camo tents look cool. This one is a bit bulky for hiking, but for bicycle or motorcycle camping it's a perfect tent.
You cant beat the Quechua 2 second tents , we have the pop up version in 3 man for the boot of the car for ease when touring we can move site every day with ease winner winner . The Mh100 2 person is a bargain too at Decathlon i haven't got one myself but i have seen um in use and £30 for a tent that looks fairly decent you might want to try one out Andy .. Thankyou for all the hard work we really do appreciate you and the videos are top notch . Big Thanks
our ability to embrace solitude and nature's beauty while testing gear like the Decathlon tent reflects a true passion for outdoor exploration. Your experiences inspire others to connect with nature and seek new adventures. And I am Floating Village Life
Oh I'd love a blackout tent. Light is one of the main reason why I don't go camping anymore! As soon as there's a bit of light, I'm awake. And at this time of year it's bloody early!
When it rains you need a polyester fold away rain coat with a hood..just give them a shake and the droplets fly off..they're not heavy and keep you dry and fold up in small parcel..amazon or e bay..😊
I got one of these tents in northern Spain at the beginning of this week as the tent i had with me got rather bird struck before i got the ferry across and was not cleaning off. I saw this on in Decathlon and thought it worth a go and have been quite pleased. I am motorcycle camping for 4 weeks so though its a bit larger packed down than my old tent its not by much and it straps to the bike fine.
Wow, 30c is 104f...yeah it's been super hot here as well. The humidity changes everything as well. That tent comes together easier than our Coleman! That ipa sounds delicious! Did the conversion from £ to $ and the tent would be $165 for us Americans. It is quite smaller than what we have, but I do agree it would be good for cooler weather. We do like to sleep in complete darkness, so I might actually get this sooner than later.
you could almost have been a stunt double for arnie walking through the woods with those trees on shoulder. excellent video i really look forward to them coming out.
I had an original Decathlon 2 second pop up tent about 22 or 23 years ago -it had an inner and outer skin and pretty thick poles(far better than the new single skinned ones that are no better than beach shelters) bugger to fold up until you get the knack -Used 3 or 4 times a year until 2019 -Brilliant in the right circumstances camping with a car.
Enjoying the great outdoors with Asmoke has truly changed the way I do my outings. The convenience of this pellet grill is a game-changer. I love the fact that it's battery-powered and portable, which makes it perfect for camping trips like yours! With Asmoke, I can enjoy a variety of flavors thanks to the different wood pellets. The digital controller is a lifesaver, allowing me to maintain my desired cooking temperature, providing precise control over my grilling process. This is especially handy when I'm out in the wild and need consistent results. The added bonus is that it's environmentally friendly, using recycled wood materials. Can't wait for more camping trips with my Asmoke grill. #Asmoke.
Lovely video I love the fact you try something new every time we see you, and give us an honest answer. Love where you go, so peaceful you can just sit and gather your thoughts. Thanks for taking us with you, see you next time 😊
I really really like that tent because if I were to go camping, I would need an easy to put up and take down tent. I was impressed by how thick the material is. Thanks Andy. I always look forward to watching your videos. And gosh, that waffle couldn't have come out any better than that! ❤❤❤❤❤
we've got one of the Decathlon inflatable tents with the same material/blackout tech, the other great feature is that they don't heat up in the sun, so you don't get cooked by the early morning sun, and for family camping they mean that mum and dad can get a bit of a lie in! when i'm out camping on my own i stick to more traditional type tents though.
Awesome as always Andy. Thank you for sharing your awesome adventures. Please stay awesome. I'm looking forward to the next adventure. KEEP ADVENTURING GOD BLESS YOU
**USEFUL INFO** Hi Andy! - I recommend ‘Skin So Soft Original Dry oil spray’ as a form of bug repellent. The army institute did research on it and my older brother was a royal marine and they are all issues it as standard (well they did 10+ years ago) and I know they still recommend it now. Just a little tip - plus it smells better.

This has made me so happy. I really miss your posts when there's a gap, but i know you have a life too... anyway thanks Andy
Awesome. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
If really you want to make it a 'stealth' camp you can always throw on a camo net or a cover. But I do think that Decathlon should make these in camouflage because camo tents look cool.
This one is a bit bulky for hiking, but for bicycle or motorcycle camping it's a perfect tent.
I’ve been watching your videos for years at a time when life is hard your videos bring me peace keep goin I’m sure you help others
Another great video Andy!
Thanks From QLD Australia 🇦🇺
You cant beat the Quechua 2 second tents , we have the pop up version in 3 man for the boot of the car for ease when touring we can move site every day with ease winner winner . The Mh100 2 person is a bargain too at Decathlon i haven't got one myself but i have seen um in use and £30 for a tent that looks fairly decent you might want to try one out Andy .. Thankyou for all the hard work we really do appreciate you and the videos are top notch . Big Thanks
Was in a Decathlon the other day having a nosey and i was quite impressed with this thicker material they use which blocks out a lot of light.
Talking about biscuits...my favourite was gypsy creams. Gone now. I love milk chocolate digestives.
Gypsy creams were the best
our ability to embrace solitude and nature's beauty while testing gear like the Decathlon tent reflects a true passion for outdoor exploration. Your experiences inspire others to connect with nature and seek new adventures. And I am Floating Village Life
Oh I'd love a blackout tent. Light is one of the main reason why I don't go camping anymore! As soon as there's a bit of light, I'm awake. And at this time of year it's bloody early!
You can also splash water on a log and let it set…..throw on the fire and it’ll smoke those misquitos away. Works well
When it rains you need a polyester fold away rain coat with a hood..just give them a shake and the droplets fly off..they're not heavy and keep you dry and fold up in small parcel..amazon or e bay..😊
I love the really cool recipes you bring camping. Going to try the Thai green curry on my next outing! Cheers Andy!
Tenda yg sangat baik, simple & bagus 😍
Andai saya bisa memiliki tenda seperti itu.. 😍😍
Salam lestari dari Indonesia 🙏
As I wait for the Category 4 Hurricane to approach our Island, nothing gives me more peace than prayer 🙏 and your videos. Thanks so much. 😊🇰🇾
For the bugs Avon Skin So Soft dry body oil works brilliant, no nasties, Anglers and the army have used it for years. Amazon stock it.
Unless you are allergic to it. Not worth the hives and eczema.
@@jjudy5869a reaction to the horrible toxins in Avon products.
Smidge is great if you're allergic to the Avon one
watching your videos helps me with my anxiety and I always fall asleep after watching a couple
30C is 86F.
you could almost have been a stunt double for arnie walking through the woods with those trees on shoulder. excellent video i really look forward to them coming out.
This tent is really impressive, one of the best you had I think. I look on their website and they have some great tents at fair prices. ❤
I had an original Decathlon 2 second pop up tent about 22 or 23 years ago -it had an inner and outer skin and pretty thick poles(far better than the new single skinned ones that are no better than beach shelters) bugger to fold up until you get the knack -Used 3 or 4 times a year until 2019 -Brilliant in the right circumstances camping with a car.
excellent tent for motorbike camping for someone like me with arthritis and perfect for one person with room for all my gear inside.
This tent is awesome. Would be an excellent festival tent.
Have two of these and an awning and tarp, makes quite a good family setup for camping a few nights
My first tent was/is a blackout Quetcha I got from decathlon, not used it in a few years but prob better for a camp-site yes .. might use it real soon
Everyone has this tent at festivals in germany :D kind of hard to find yours sometimes haha. But awesome to sleep during daylight
I usually just sit and watch in the background and don’t say anything; but I really enjoy all of your videos. ❤️
we've got one of the Decathlon inflatable tents with the same material/blackout tech, the other great feature is that they don't heat up in the sun, so you don't get cooked by the early morning sun, and for family camping they mean that mum and dad can get a bit of a lie in!
when i'm out camping on my own i stick to more traditional type tents though.
Awesome as always Andy.
Thank you for sharing your awesome adventures.
Please stay awesome.
I'm looking forward to the next adventure.
KEEP ADVENTURING
GOD BLESS YOU
Great trip, thank you for taking us along. You must have hidden stashes of fire- wood all over the UK!! See you next time.
**USEFUL INFO**
Hi Andy!
Just give it a google if you don’t believe me too.
That curry dish looked so good 😋. I have a camping trip coming up soon. My first solo trip. You’re my inspiration Andy!❤ Thank you for being yourself 💕and the pointers with the gear. I hope you try a nature hike massif tent soon. 😊
1 of my tent wishlist. Perfect for simple and fast setup especially when going solo. Like u said, i have few friend using decathlon tents...some of them have waterproof issue but it was super heavy rain.
Thanks for all the gear demos Kent. 🙂
Can you make your own camping cook book? I love the food you make!
Well you pulled out that bourbon biscuit I turned to the Mrs and said “you saucy bugger” love it 😂👏🏻👏🏻
a big selling point for those fresh & back tents it, that they barely heat up in the sun. a favorite among festival goers.
Hey man I really enjoy your videos. My most favorite camping channel. From southern Illinois USA.
How about a follow-up video on the Quechua 2 Seconds Easy Fresh Awning for the tent that gives you more space.
I quite like the design of the bag that the tent comes in!
Nice to see you back.
