The license plate builds are my best sellers! I like the neck notched idea. I put a vol. pot opposite the jack top of neck. (That’s what customers ask for) I like the string through plate.I think next time I cut out for pup I will x corner to corner an crimp over so no sharp edges. Thank you Del for your videos.

so since you were notching out the heal to put it in the box, was there any particular reason to have it extend outside the box as a heal (others than aesthetics?)
good question/observation … and… you are right in your assumption!! 😎👍🏽. once it’s “notched” it’s slightly compromised .
