The advice she gives is a bit, meh. She did not even discuss if there was a reason, what if the guys father just had a heart attack. Here is advice from a man (me), what to do. First, find out the reason, see if you think it is acceptable, or if it isn't. If it is not an acceptable reason then tell him you are disappointed. Explain you have spent a lot of effort preparing plus cancelled other plans. Since guys often do not spend much time preparing, he may not have considered that you have, and not thought it would bother you much. Then see if he will set things right. If he is the kind of guy you want, he will, long as you have been fair about it. If you have been a bitch, he may dig in also. But some guys are just jerks so if he is just messing you around for no good reason, he will likely continue to do so, so if you don't want to be treated like that ongoing, dump him.

Thank you for your advice! It's always good to hear from a man's perspective. My video was more for men who cancel last minute for no good reason. I'm sure most women would know that a family member having a serious medical issue is a priority.
