Actually, that pikmin *got up on its own* and that other pikmin *almost got itself killed* trying to *"help out."* Unfortunately, they didn't allow us a scene where both were gobbled up, even though if you listen closely, the pikmin seems to make a horrifying noise as if it were to have been *killed instantly* as it was caught betwixt the *jaws of the beast.* Play it back and you'll notice the *angry* almost *shame-filled* and *disgusted look* on the creature's face as it realized it *missed 2 pikmin* who were *completely within reach* and *should have clearly been eaten.*
I like how that isn't even a bloyster but instead a variety of mandiblard and the 'troop commander' is a shearwig queen, or the jellyfloat being a slurker, the eel being a water dumple, etc.
Who cares it is about Time Nintendo doesn't focus only on Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong , Wario , and Yoshi. Sometimes Nintendo will focus on Metriod, Fire Emblem, and Pit but now they gave the Pikmin series another game.
No one can ever get them because they’re at pre/postgame cutscenes where Olimar crashes/leaves, they can be found in the onions color where it’s purple
It's a shame Purples and Whites have gotten shafted so hard in favor of the newer types. Not that I don't like Pink or Grey, but being as Pikmin 2 is my favorite, it's kind of lame that they're relegated to extras or bonus content. Oh well, maybe they'll show up in Pikmin 4.
Jambone Purples were ridiculously overpowered to the point that you just never used Reds anymore after a certain point. They needed a nerf, and that nerf came with Rock Pikmin. Whites could cheese any boss that ate them in the right number. It wasn't even fair to those bosses. And since there was no time limit in Pikmin 2, you could harvest as many as you wanted. Most endgame/postgame parties consisted of Blues, Whites and Purples. You could get by most anything with a small handful of Whites, and you could stunlock most enemies to death with Purples.
You can't actually harvest as many white or purples as you want. The Candypop buds eventually stop respawning after a certain number of times. As someone who had well over 200 if not 300 days in Pikmin 2 due to messing around. I know things like this. Anyway, abusing the use of white and purples like that is just ridiculous. You aren't even trying to have fun with the game at that point. Also anybody who actually knows anything about Pikmin 2 knows that a large portion of your end game squad should actually be yellows due to their effectiveness against the Titan Dweevil and being immune to its only insta-kill attack (Electricity).
Darth Talon the fact that it's abusable like that isn't an excuse for poor design. The fact they were removed from Pikmin 3 shows that the developers were aware that they were abusable and could potentially make the game too easy. I haven't played Pikmin 2 in about ten years, but I remember using Blues all the time because water hazards tended to be my bane, while I rarely ever got careless enough to allow my Pikmin to be electrocuted.

I actually expected the secret final boss to be a variant of the Water or Plasm Wraiths but a 3 form plant hybrid monster is cool too especially since most creatures in these games are different types of insects.

The music reminds me of Star Wars, and the bosses are like... Obscure creatures, not commonly found in a 2D platformer game, most bosses are just variants of the other ones, but these ones are new and original (excluding red bulborb)
I'm assuming we're talking about the emperor bulblax in pikmin 1 it was huge and pretty challenging. In pikmin 2 it was first a boss then later in the game a miniboss. in pikmin 3 It didn't appear but its in the files of the game still. in hey pikmin the emperor bulblax is huge again and a tiny bit challenging
This game's bosses could have been so interesting... Maybe during, say, the slurker fight (it's not a jellyfloat, fyi) you also get a few rock pikmin, and you can use them to break the boss out of its crystal attack early.
Geez, that last boss is pretty freaky lookin'. Wasn't expecting that third phase either. These bosses look pretty though. And not one of them revolves around having more than one type of Pikmin, which is quite a waste of potential and reduces depth.

Chris Cantu it could be similar to the smokeyprog the theory gos the gulix infected it and once killed the remains returned to gulix witch becomes the waterwrath witch later became the plazmawrath but this is probably just a small piece of the gulix not at it full power

The secret boss is a giant plant hybrid that an shed its skin that seems to instantly vanish out of thin air and when it attacks it has the screech of an eagle, plus when you're attack it it makes seagull sounds. Only from Nintendo can you get hilariously, confusing, and great stuff like this.
