Just an update on my Boderry Voyager Field Watch. I have had it for a week now and so far it loses about 1 second a day, which is really impressive for a watch at this price point. Once I got the NATO nylon band formed to my wrist it wears comfortable. It is so light I sometimes forget that I am even wearing it. The finish on the watch is impeccable and looks great on the wrist. My son ordered the titanium bracelet for it for me and I should have that in about another week. I would have to say if the performance holds I would prefer this watch over Bertucci and not just for the price point, but that does bring the overall value into focus for me. I get a field watch that has impressive specs for under $100 and it performs, so far, flawlessly. Thanks again for this video upload. Reply
If it only loses 1 second/day, that is chronometer accuracy for a mechanical movement. Rolexes are to be accurate to -2/+2 seconds/day, to be certified a “superlative chronometer” Your accuracy is fantastic, regardless of price.
Just got mine today. Got it with the black NATO strap. For a company that's only been around for just 5 years, they knocked it out of the park with this watch. For less than $100, you won't find another watch like it with the same features.
I was considering this watch, and this video pushed me over the fence. Now I just need to choose a colorway! I am leaning towards the classic black dial white indices and white hands, but the salmon and blue is calling my name. Hard choices!
I absolutely agree with the ending field watch comments, I recently sold my Hamilton khaki field titanium that always felt like it's too nice to bring it out and about outdoors; So the closest thing I got as replacement was actually a green Timex Expedition North with sapphire and solar movement, your review helped me pick out a second option now... I'm guessing black is the go-to but the white looks pretty good too !
Congratutalions on this review, very complete and clear. Some micro brands are getting better over time, I gave them a try to Fanos Osimiri (swiss movement, titanium case, steel bracelet, sapphire cristal and helium escape valve) which manufacture a very close replica to Tudor's Pelagos, but in less than two years the screw of the crown stop retaining it, and was a really problem to try to fix it, even Fanos could not fix it as well. For the price point I think that it worth the risk to give them a try, rather than the investment I made with Fanos around $550 USD

I’ve heard both good and bad. Similar to buying a new car. You could get a solid one, or one that needs constant upkeep. I’ve had a great overall long term
Buyer Beware! I bought one of these back in Jan 2024. I have several watches and so wore this maybe a couple times. When I went to wear it a few weeks later, the movement kept stopping. Boderry took a while to respond to my email, and had to be prompted by the very responsive AliExpress message responder. They told me to return it for warranty repair. Postage to China cost me almost $20, which they said they'd refund AFTER it was fixed. Here we are in July, and still no watch. They keep promising to get it out 'this week'. Never happens. Now, there's no response to my emails. I'll never buy another Boderry! 🤬
This brand doesnt ship the orders. If you want to live troubles with shipping and can not refund your money. You can be free. Please read comments of customers (i mean people made payment and can not receive the orders) for boderry watch's shipping and refund problems.
I would love to see a bertucci with an automatic or mechanical movement. The reason I don’t like this boderry watches is that it’s a Chinese fake version of an already affordable American brand. I won’t support Chinese business if it’s going to hurt an American brand. Keep that in mind the reason these Chinese watches are cheap isn’t because they feel charitable, it’s because western countries pay them 3rd world incentives so the cost of making the product is almost zero for Chinese brands, combine that with cheap labor and you find yourself paying 3 times the actual cost of the product. Basically you pay them to buy material, they copy someone’s design and make the product and you pay them double times more to buy the product you already paid for raw material and shipping costs. Please don’t support Chinese brands.
You’re not wrong. Especially when you look at watches like the Avtrek, that offered compass and other features for $80. Im re-reviewing it in a similar fashion in a few weeks. But there is still something about a mechanical watch that offers more beauty than function
@@allthingsrandom8137 sorry if it came out rude. I just grown a costume to many of the functions of a sport watch. Timer for the washer, world time for friends overseas, day/date, alarm can be handy to. Guess a sports watch is a relic too with modern smartphones

If they made this in Quartz i'd buy one right away. Cheap automatics can't keep good time for more than a month.
Im not a watch guy, but i think i am now.
Nice..
Is it a Chinese Brand?
Seems so
Hong kong brand to be specific.
This brand doesnt ship the orders. If you want to live troubles with shipping and can not refund your money. You can be free. Please read comments of customers (i mean people made payment and can not receive the orders) for boderry watch's shipping and refund problems.
That does sound like an issue for sure
Are you aware this watch is an homage? What are your thoughts on Chinese companies copying designs?
Hamilton wannabe...
No….
It's a relic
A digital is far superior in every way, other then style, which shouldn't be a consideration when it's a tool
@@freddyfox5002 I completely understand
Digital is alright but watches are more than just a tool for many people.
@@markfogel3682 digital is not "alright", it's superior in every way.
The horology community is mostly about style, and fashion, and that's fine, if you just admit that your wristwatch is a really a jewlery pierce more then anything else
"It's their first field watch and they did a damn good job designing it, it looks like a lot of other field watches, but it's really not" Verbatim... No it looks exactly like the bertucci and shares almost all the same specs....
Alright alright…. You are not wrong..
Id actually call this an improvement in most ways. No more fixed spring bars, sapphire, twisted lugs etc. If Bertucci can produce something with similar specs for similar money I'd buy one. If not, this fits the bill rather nicely. I do like their tritium watches though
