Both of mine in the back got nicked and they're now like half thickness. I'm thinking about growing all my hair out to do full dreads instead of a high top so I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally cutting them.

i have high top dreads and a lot if my roots have thinning due to me trying to separate them and keep them neat and just a lot of breakage trying to separate them i mean my dreads are smaller and naturally thinner so if i did combine every dread there would be about 53 roughly but im fr stressing out cause the roots are super thin not like a couple strands thin but just thinner than i would like and i honestly don’t know what to do
