@Marcus Not sure where the OP is from but in america wood working shop is not compulsory in high school. Some people have just never had the experience. I agree. It's quite simple.
I live in the American pacific northwest, it's turned into a status symbol to have something like this. I prefer to do it the way this guy has and keep the fact that I can between me and my friends.
@@imbalance9186 it is depending on the type of school. In Sweden they have 2 types of high schools. The 1st type is for “academically gifted” students who want to persue higher education. The 2nd type is for students who want to enter the workforce or are taking over a family business right after graduation. The second type is a more practical hands on experience, and from the op’s comment he must be in the second type, because those classes are to be expected.
Love the rotary knife if you drill a small hole on the blade corresponding to a hole on the fork that holds the blade you can get a spring lock pin to hold it in place when you use it as a head knife that would be a cool multi function
I made one similar after watching this video. Not quite so neat but it was my first attempt. Im still pleased with it and I can now take my puukko to the woods without losing it.
I honestly thought it would turn out like another sheathe that was 30x larger than the actual blade but this makes me happy its at least proportionate❤
@Cerne Drain hole is more to let the moisture escape the sheath, and in the woods you cant really choose the weather you might be in total down pour, and obviously sheath, and your knife will be wet no matter what. Leaving hole in the tip of the sheath basicly allows the water to escape, and sheath dry out faster
Nice editing! I think your leather cant dry reasonably in the inside after wetmolding. That's Why you get those dark dots after it's dry. May ne dependant in the leather you use though
Beautiful work brother this channel deserves more subscribers its quality editing & great work in all the videos I've seen from this channel 👏🙌👍👌 keep doing the great work & making great content 👍👍👏🤙✌
It would be interesting to see one of these sheaths but with the bottom square (or some other way) instead of ending pointed. By the way, I love your work but also your edition! 🔥
that's how Finnish puukko sheaths are designed. It also helps to lock the knife inside without falling out and without the need of straps and fasteners :)
I just sharpened it on the belt grinder and then on a polishing belt. It is not the most optimal way but sharpening it on a stone will not be easy with this shape :)
Family heirloom being made
Yessss👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
700th like
sharpest pizza knife ever
I was about to say “is that a damn pizza cutter?”
Good job. One of the hardest sheaths to master.

@@2Cats_ina_Trenchcoat Where I’m from, shop was compulsory…if you’re the kind of peoples that my peoples associated with. Lol
I love that it clipped in at the end. It just fit perfectly. Well done leather work.
I wish more people could do crafts like this without having to spend so much on supplies!
The quality is unbeatable
Fantastic job man it's beautiful. It looks like it came from a high quality manufacturer.
Thank you :)
I think it did... (Meaning...our dude RustLegion here is a high quality manufacturer.)
My goodness, that is beautiful.
Is it just me or did that click at the end sound like it would be from minecraft😂 also your leather work is amazing!
Thanks mate , I never played minecraft , only watched some streams :)
@@RustLegion np!
I reckon Minecraft learned the sound from a master craftsman like @RustLegion, that’s why they call it:
Mine -> Craft 😙👌✨

Your videos are super satisfying and your sheaths are very well made! Keep it up camt get enough of your videos
Not even are you a skilled craftsman, but it seems you also poses the arts of magic!
Hahaha that reminds me of the first video of yours I’ve seen and all anxiety is gone after seeing the lip at the end of the handle!!
That's a really nice puukko
And a perfect traditional sheath
thank you. Puukko knives are my favourites in all their shapes, styles and forms :)
the quality of your videos never cease to improve! ❤❤
Cheers mate :) Glad you are still around :)

Another great job! Thank you!
cheers friend
That’s class on that one!!!
Very satisfying click home when sheathing the knife too. Very nice craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
Tight and compact. Very nice
That snap fit at the end perfect
Ooo! Nice, satisfying "Click" at the end! And yes, great craftsmanship!
I honestly thought it would turn out like another sheathe that was 30x larger than the actual blade but this makes me happy its at least proportionate❤
I'm hooked!
Not only do you do magnificent blade & leatherwork, but the editing on your videos is absolutely enticing!!🙌🏻👍🏻🙋🏻♀️🤩🙌🏻
Cute! Especially like the drain hole.
How did you make those center ring in the center of the sheath? How did you apply your belt loop? Great video short!

Guys this is amazing why this video can't reach 1M Likes?
Dood the air-tight "click" at the end is so satisfying.
That click when the knife go in the sheath sounds so satisfying😊😊😊
You make it look so easy--IT ISN'T EASY TO BE SO PERFECT!!!
thank you , with a few years of practice it becomes easy :)
Beautiful work.
Outstanding craftsmanship dude! Lovely stuff

Watched this several times!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
how long have you been doing this gor? youre really talented!!
Love it! Keep up the good work!
Soo Good 👌🏻❤️
A good snap fit from a wet mold is one of the most satisfying things
Perfect craftsmanship, as a fin this was done well.

Thanks bro , glad you like it :)
Me want one.
nice work!
Not gonna lie that was a really good edit, took me a sec to realize cause wedges like that aren't meant for small pieces of wood.
the dude: *making a leather sheath*
meanwhile the dog in the background: WHERE THE FUCK IS MY TREAT AT? BARK BARK BARK
Yep. I missed it the first time. Awesome work.
Very impressive. Nice work!
get this man the comment he wants! HE DESERVES THE GOOD COMMENT!!!!!!!!
Very nice knife
Drilling the stitching holes instead of punching them all out is either laziness or revolutionary
It is a bit lazy yes , but with this type of sheath there is no much difference in the looks of the end result :)
Nice
That's gotta' be the most unusual way to make a leather sheath i've ever seen, and i've watched at least 100 different videos here on making sheaths.
hehe it is how Finnish people make them :)
good job
I have a really nice knife I got for my 16th birthday that I've now had for 14 years with no sheath. Wish I could have one like this made for it.
Thank you for existing.
I am now satisfied.
That is a very nice pukko!
Impressive! Thanks!
Exemplary craftsmanship. Incredible work, sir.💪🏻🤝🏻
thank you :)
Great job man!!!
That Dremel sound needs it own beat!
Beautiful work there. That fit is so snug as well. Done a brilliant job there!
thank you , sometimes they come a bit lose sometimes a bit tight , this one I was lucky and turned out just right :)
@@RustLegion It’s all part of the fun that, in my eyes. It did indeed mate, couldn’t fault it, even if I tried. And I’m a pedantic so and so 😂
I watched this like 20 times and will probably watch 20 more times 🤤
It would be interesting to see one of these sheaths but with the bottom square (or some other way) instead of ending pointed. By the way, I love your work but also your edition! 🔥
yes there are a lot of different shapes for this type of sheath , I may try something new :)
Beautiful workmanship! 😎👍🏻
thank you
You did a great job bro
You can also use a slightly larger piece of Leather, to incorporate a single Belt Slot in the area you cut off.
It really needed that old guy saying "Nice" right after the click-pop noise when you sunk the knife home in its new sheath.
That is one badass pizza cutter
Interesting. Never seen such a tall sheath style before, that covers most of the handle. But makes sense - to guard a beautiful handle
that's how Finnish puukko sheaths are designed. It also helps to lock the knife inside without falling out and without the need of straps and fasteners :)
Как это залипательно! Прекрасно смотреть на процесс творения❤❤❤
i hate how good this is
So smooth
Amazing beautiful work❤ is a cuckoo is instead of bleed from Finland or Finnish?
I love hearing it snap inside. I don't know how you do it.
Amazing work
Oh that is gorgeous
Beautiful scabbard
BOY! On the day you were born, I made two knives. Mixing metals from my home and this land.
Bro leveled up his pizza cutter to max
احببت صوت التكه فى النهاية ❤
عمل رائع
That burl handle though!!
Definitely not a quick draw sheath, but a beautiful piece.
Love it
awesome
That finger snap was cold as ice brotha
棒赞
Traditional. Love it brother
thanks brother :)
That ending had me like☺️
I have to say this is the first time I have ever in my life. Seen someone scrape something with the pizza cutter style cutter
Now I finally know a use for them tiny drill bits that break in anything I've tried to use them in.
haha yea , my worse nightmare is drilling copper or stainless steel with these.
Good job awesome knife lether cover
Drives me nuts when people use a drill for holes in leather, the sheath looks great though, well done.
thanks I know it is not the right way to do it, I sometimes use diamond hole punch but the drill method is a bit easier and faster :)
Great work 👍
That click at the end was everything…
Look at that handles ✨Chatoyantcy✨
Saubere Arbeit danke fürs zeigen 👍
Great job i like it I think he made it for sale and I think it is not very cheap.
Beautiful workmanship my friend!
thank you sir
Magnifique, vraiment❣❣❣🥰🥰🥰
Was the ulu knife you made sharpened with sharpening stones or just sanded
I just sharpened it on the belt grinder and then on a polishing belt. It is not the most optimal way but sharpening it on a stone will not be easy with this shape :)
😊 Nice job
I love it.
Great work... Do you sell it or a request from a client??
Yes I do
