- Join the concrete crew as we finish off the first significant pour of the year. The concrete was setting a little too fast so we had to move! It all came out good in the end and we are ready for the next one. Enjoy

It's pours like this that separate the men from the boys. The fact that you could hold your composure and still be joking and laughing in such a stressful situation is a testament to how good a boss you are. I poured concrete for 15 years for my father and days like this somebody would always end up in a fight or some argument. Good job guys.

@@mattcollyer6307 The workers are paid well, get bonuses/meals&trips/best mom mondays. The boss treats the workers just fine, its the workers not treating the boss right. When Eric and Fran have the most experience being on Ryan's crew and knowing the way he likes things, yet they still manage to make Ryan have to come through and check their work everytime.
I would take a boss like Ryan 8 days a week. He is the boss yes, but a mentor and allows his guys to take on side jobs to showcase their work. A lot of people would be jealous or not allow it period. Hats off Ryan, and Crew it's only the beginning of the '24 season.
I think these videos are edited to make these workers look incompetent. No adults can be this dumb on a job and still be employed . It creates drama, comments, and 💰for Ryan.

Facts bro I’ve been saying this for a long minute. Sure at first when he started I get he made mistakes but it’s been a while now and he still can’t think for himself. He’s gotten way to comfortable making mistakes and not taking accountability for it. He’s very disrespectful to the new cdl driver Pat. His ego and has grown like crazy, all those great compliments in the comment section has gotten way to far into his head. I feel like he feels like he can get away from his dumb mistakes cause he thinks he Ryan’s “favourite” employee lol.

As a truck driver myself for 16 years now his stupidity drives me insane. The whole crew being lazy on the jobs and constantly making mistakes is beyond ridiculous . i can’t figure out why ryan keeps any of them around . worse is Eric and francisco thinking they can run their own companies when after years in the concrete industry still can’t do their job with ryan

Schmitz got their very own Dominos Pizza Tracker 😂
I've been banned by Dominos. They delivered my pizza to the next door neighbor one night. I called after it said it had been delivered and told them it had not been delivered. The manager accused me of lying but sent out another pizza. The next morning when the neighbor got home from work, he brought my mostly eaten pizza over to me. The raccoons enjoyed it. I emailed a picture of it to Dominos and the other manager apologized and offered me a free pizza. Ok. I ordered it and it was over an hour. Checked the tracker after 50 minutes. It was still baking. My pizza had been baking for 45 minutes. That's going to be one well-done pizza. Took 30 minutes to deliver. Still didn't have it. Called the store to ask what was going on. The manager said I was crazy, my pizza wasn't over the time limit. "Check again." "I guess it was over a little, but we're busy and I'll give you a hint. Those trackers aren't accurate. They just make the customers feel good. We didn't even start your pizza until ____." Then he sent me an email and told me I was banned because I complain too much. I hope the concrete tracker is different from Dominos.

You have very good employees - although Carlito and Tino are my favorites, especially when they work together as a team - and as you know, Carlito needs no direction, tell him what you want him to accomplish and he is AOK! Maybe you should give serious consideration about making him your general foreman, which would in turn would free you to do whatever you need to do everyday - I know you're still going to be there at every job, but if you have more important things to do, Carlito is the man to carry on the project
relax just caus you like someone dont mean they good for a certain role a foreman has to be able to run things while ryans aint there and Carlito still learning how to puddle, so how is he able to call shots on the fly when hes still learning?

@VictorPerez-sd2yf honestly. He fires his dad for being late or not showing up. But he did his job. But keeps Jr when he doesn't do anything except drives the buggy and gets tired of that. Don't think he made the right choice.
@@tylershears6207 Comparing them at all in the first place is a mistake I think. I can pretty much guarantee the difference in pay between the two is huge. He hires Daryl and the other employees because he has a job to get done, but I think Ryan has a different motive entirely for hiring Jr. I think it's because Ryan is a good guy and not because he needs Jr to be a good employee.

Sad to see how hectic Ryan gets and his right hand man Lazy E does nothing to step up or lead the crew. No different than any other day, Ryan needs to have a real 2nd that shows solid leadership.
When I used to work for a concrete company I drove a lot of different company vehicles. I'm 5'4" tall and needless to say, if I forgot to put the seat back I would get an ear-full! LOL
Mine worked out fine Ryan, i used the concept! Of a skiiboard curld both edges. On long jobs i would tie a string line on the handle to keep th handle from touching and walk around and finish running out my continuous joint then down to the next one . I always made continuous pours from left -right! Working my way down the drive. And short joint i would cut in.

Hey Ryan. We use that exact MT and we also have fitment issues on our attachments. Also you’ll find once you put about 7 to 10 hours your bucket locks will start to become hard to get locked. One will lock but the other side will not unless you unlatch it and make sure it’s perfectly centre and try to latch it again. Have a great day Ryan
