Definitely considering this car! Found a used one for just over 20 grand, with the intellink screen, heated leather seats, heated steering wheel. Affordable, luxurious, comfortable, feels solid and nice to drive. I see absolutely nothing wrong with this car! Plus I REALLY like the size!
If you're 20 years old and you like a buick then drive one. If you are 70 years old and like a Buick then drive one. The bottom line is if you like a specific car who cares if ignorant people link it with a silly stereotype, just drive what you like.
I'm hoping I can make this my next car after I get out of college, I can't really afford one right now but in the future I hope it'll depreciate enough to be affordable. UPDATE: March 2021, I bought me a 2017 Buick Verano with every option possible and in the same color as the one in this video.
Osama BeenBallin my grandpa bought his 2013 Verano and he had ZERO problems with it. And he’s had it since it first hit the lot. And I love his and this car.
This one beautiful little care. I am getting more and more impressed with Buick every year. My Grandfather owned a late 80's Buick Century it was an amazing car, so I was saddened when they discontinued it. Finally Buick's small car is back and better than ever.I do know that this is a Opel/Vauxhall in disguise but the car is still decent.
Yo. I love this car. If you go look at it at night. You’ll fall in love with it. Very beautiful colored lights. Very rich sounding radio. And you have to be in the Verano to know what we are talking about the doors. The doors close wonderfully solid. It’s like the air cuts off and it’s almost a breath taking thud. It is a wonderful car. The car is very fast. And my grandpa has the 2013 Buick Verano SD but it drives very fast. I have to put the 0-60 test down for myself, because I feel like the car is way faster than 9 seconds. Like there’s honestly no way it’s that slow. And omg the view of the car is so perfect. But I would definitely choose the upgrade to the convenience package or leather package. Having the manual adjust seats are kind of a drag. Especially when trying to get the perfect fit. I’ve had a hard time trying to get the perfect selection. But once you get the right fit. You’ll love the car. The only thing I don’t like. Is the seat adjusting. That’s the only thing I don’t like. But I also don’t care of the manual adjust seats. It will also save me electricity on the battery anyways. But all in all, the car is super great. I would recommend just getting the SD version. But itching lower than that.
My grandma has this car but Buick isn't just a manufacture that only old people buy now, same thing with Cadillac. Both brands have changed almost completely within the last few years.
Definitely best car I have ever seen for the money. I was looking at new cars and I started thinking why would I want this when I can get a much nicer car used for less money, but this sort of changes that perception. Really tempted to go order one of these from the dealer.
All your reviews are spot-on! I'ved watched about 5 of them. It's a great way to inform the consumer and also save you a bunch of time when you want to take a test drive. One thing though, can you PLEASE review the Verano Turbo if you come across one?
Never heard or seen the link with Golden Corral before, and if anything I would say you succeeded at life it you can get a Buick for retirement, especially oppose to a lot lot of vehicles.
That engine overspeed warning is crap. It proved to be a glitch in the ECU of my 2006 2.4liter Cobalt SS. I got that warning every time I made a right turn. As always AWESOME, GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL presentation. I'm loving the start sync of the IP Gauges.
I really like the look of this car and i like the price.Never thought i'd go for a Buick, but this car and the Regal would change my mind.Buick is one of GM's best quality brands IMHO.
I bought the Verano leather group trim and I love this car. The only thing that will make it better is when they come out with the turbo later this year.
I had the opportunity to drive a 2014 verano with the letter group that had push button start. My car was in for service and they gave me a verano for a loaner. Nice car although the one I had had many severe electrical issues
correction.... this car is not based on the Cruze (which was designed by Daewoo, ie Korean). Its based on the European Opel/Vauxhall Astra. Opel/ Vauxhall are owned by GM so the American brands have access to their models. Buick already uses the Opel Insignia as its Regal model, so they've added the Astra with some "modest" changes to make it the Verano
Hello! You make awesome videos!!! I really enjoyed to watch them! Cheer from Bulgaria! I hope here in my country to have more cars like this one, i never seen! Keep the nice job! (sry my English is bad :S)
@saabkyle04 could you do a review of the 2nd generation Cadillac SRX? Im thinking of getting one, wanted to see what you and the rest of your subscribers think of the car! Keep up the great work!
A verano without seat warmers, engine start/stop button, and steering wheel heater.... just like mine lol. I was really disappointed that my verano didn't come with these things and i paid the same price but it was worth it for the mocha bronze metallic exterior and cashmere interior the colors look great and the car works well, with all these features i expected it to cost double
Yea its in the Asian market, they are a big player in China, Buick is a very prestigious brand in China, one of the reasons why it wasn't cut during GM's house clean.
It may sound strange to car fanatics, but all cardesigns have compromises. Although enthusiasts ceaselessly demand more power regardless of the consequences, that's NOT what the market wants. The majority of paying customers want acceptable performance with good fuel economy from their car plus comfort, safety, fit and finish yet still have affordable pricetags. Considering these complex requirements, I believe GM achieved a sweet spot with this design for the North American market.
What color did you buy it in. My mom is considering this and she is torn between red and white. We love both colors alot but we also own a lot of red cars over the past years. But the red is really nice on the Verano.
I'd be really curious to drive one of these. I drove a 2011 Regal CXL last year, and I really do like the car a lot but it was such a dog. The 2.4 just felt so weak. I'm interested in seeing if it's any better in a smaller car like this.
Most reviewers seem to think the Verano is better. At least it has a modern 6-speed automatic, rather than the outdated Acura 5-speed automatic, and the cabin is a good amount quieter too. Probably the major issue with the Buick is predicted resale, which will more than likely be quite a bit lower than the Acura.
How does the key fob remote start the engine when it isn't a keyless push-button start? After starting engine with remote, do you still need to put the key in to drive the car?
Its just like many cars that aren't keyless, its just a remote start system. After starting the engine you need to put the key in and turn it to the ACC setting.
+kevin p We have one and it hasn't given us any problems but with any new car it is hard to do any other work than a simple oil change due to the super complicated electrical system these new cars have
kevin my grandpa says the maintenance is very easy and very cheap surprisingly. He’s had his 2013 since 2013 and it runs fine. And he has over 90k miles on it already. So nothing has happened so far, but he was a mechanic so he knows when to do maintenance for it and how to take care of it.
this is a nice little Buick and seem to be the direct competition/segment Acura is going after with the ILX. With this model being $23K and the mid level, the top model would probably still undercut the ILX's maybe $30K price tag. they need to get rid of the crazy chrome brows in the back though.
@Carbonized433 Look up the Buick Regal. That's the one that's based on the Insignia. mrwilk12 was right. The Verano shares the same platform as the Astra, the GM Delta II platform
@Barobran92 Yes and no. From the manufacturer, they usually aren't standard on the base levels, however, the dealers include them anyway thus forcing you to pay for them. They are about 70-130 dollars. You can tell them to remove it to lower the price.
Its a great car! I own a new 2014 leather edition. The flaw Ive noticed is the rear leg room.
chevykidd1 Just like the Cruze... At least there is a truck release button! (Unlike the Cruze)
That’s a scam there going for $6,000 rn
If you're 20 years old and you like a buick then drive one. If you are 70 years old and like a Buick then drive one. The bottom line is if you like a specific car who cares if ignorant people link it with a silly stereotype, just drive what you like.
Dave Belmont i wish i could give you 20 likes for this comment
Cause I’m only 15 and I love my grandpas Verano and I want to get one myself when I save up enough money for a down payment
I love my Verano
Thanks
that was well presented Im getting one Saturday can't wait
How's it holding up?
I'm hoping I can make this my next car after I get out of college, I can't really afford one right now but in the future I hope it'll depreciate enough to be affordable.
UPDATE: March 2021, I bought me a 2017 Buick Verano with every option possible and in the same color as the one in this video.

I love that I blacked out this car. Love my 2012 Buick Verano
#Based Buick have u had any problems with the car ? like anything go out
Osama BeenBallin my grandpa bought his 2013 Verano and he had ZERO problems with it. And he’s had it since it first hit the lot. And I love his and this car.

Love the styling of this car! Thinking about buying one

Damn, I am getting old...I like this car and Golden Corral!!
My grandma has this car but Buick isn't just a manufacture that only old people buy now, same thing with Cadillac. Both brands have changed almost completely within the last few years.
Bought one of these today. Couldn't be happier.
Getting this car for my 16th birthday!!!!!!! Im so excited! This review really helped me choose the car I wanted!
Joseph Leggio how has it been?
Yah. I’m getting one because I need a car but the one I’m getting is selling for really cheap and it’s only 11,500 FOR ONLY 30k miles!!!
Do you still have this car ?
Hi.. How's your 2012 Buick verano now ? Miles ? And any engine problems ? Or transmission ?
Definitely best car I have ever seen for the money. I was looking at new cars and I started thinking why would I want this when I can get a much nicer car used for less money, but this sort of changes that perception. Really tempted to go order one of these from the dealer.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FAIRLANE!!!! The extremely in-depth reviews, like the roadmaster, are incredible!
All your reviews are spot-on! I'ved watched about 5 of them. It's a great way to inform the consumer and also save you a bunch of time when you want to take a test drive. One thing though, can you PLEASE review the Verano Turbo if you come across one?
the interior looks great
Buicks have stepped it up so much...great new looks :)
man im 19 and i usually think buick is an old persons car but they really went out on this one. this car looks sexy!
Very good review, I like how you described the fit and finish.
Bought one last week. My first GM product. Rides like a champ and could not be happier.
The 2012 Verano - Your grandpa is gonna love it
Never heard or seen the link with Golden Corral before, and if anything I would say you succeeded at life it you can get a Buick for retirement, especially oppose to a lot lot of vehicles.
good video! I love that you treat every car with reverence and respect
That engine overspeed warning is crap. It proved to be a glitch in the ECU of my 2006 2.4liter Cobalt SS. I got that warning every time I made a right turn. As always AWESOME, GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL presentation. I'm loving the start sync of the IP Gauges.

good job explaining all the different options and models
all that car needs is dark window tint and black 20" rims
Thank you for doing a video on this car! I've been wanting to see one for a while. These seem like nice little cars.
I bought the Verano leather group trim and I love this car. The only thing that will make it better is when they come out with the turbo later this year.
The hatchback (opel astra) sure looks hell of a lot sexier. They should bring it as a Verano hatch.
I had the opportunity to drive a 2014 verano with the letter group that had push button start. My car was in for service and they gave me a verano for a loaner. Nice car although the one I had had many severe electrical issues
beautiful car i will get that this year
In Europe this car is called Opel Insignia. Another great Kyle !!!
It's actually an opel Astra
The Buick the elegant family car !
This guy is a class act.
+Micah Wright what is that? What do you mean?
I think I'm in love. Ugh, I cant wait to go car shopping!
correction.... this car is not based on the Cruze (which was designed by Daewoo, ie Korean). Its based on the European Opel/Vauxhall Astra. There are really no "crappy" car brands anymore. Ford and Chevy are so upscale now, as well as hyundai and Kia. It's nice now. So many more options.
Kyle , You should look into doing the 5-Door 2012 Ford Focus
I like the exhaust sound.
Love my car 2012 Buick Verano the best car I ever had.
Hi.. How's your 2012 buick verano now ? Howmany miles ? And any issues with the engine or transmission ? Let me know thanks a lot
@weatherleon it shares platform components with the current astra. The regal is the twin to the insignia!
do a video of 2012 camry le . in depth, start up , and exhaust please . thanks . love your videos man. keep up the good work..!.
Very beautiful car. I want one.
Led Zeppelin, I love this review and this car! 🥰
The best part of this video is when SWV's "Right Here (Human Nature Mix)" came on @ 13:32
A verano without seat warmers, engine start/stop button, and steering wheel heater.... just like mine lol.
Seems like a nice car 👍
Should consider overviewing the new cadillac ATS
This is Actually pretty nice for a Buick compact. Quite snazzy!
Kyle I wish you add the MSRP with your great reviews
Very good review!
Wandavision?
Do I need credit to pay monthly on this car I’m 18 never had a job but I’m planning on getting one once I get a car
You will most likely need credit, but it all depends on how much you're going to put as a down payment, and what the dealership can do for you
You can see the Enclave design ques that made Buick start looking good. Till this day the Enclave is still the best looking Buick to date.
You do awesome reviews!
Great vid as always Kyle!
This is an Opel/Vauxhall Astra with a boot. The Belmont lives!!
i love this car
Does it have axillary cord plug in for music and Bluetooth
donna martinez yes it has both!
I’d prefer the USB plug in. More usable that way for the radio.
It's a nice car. We might be getting one of these Veranos soon. It's probably better than the ILX in every single way.
What color did you buy it in. My mom is considering this and she is torn between red and white. We love both colors alot but we also own a lot of red cars over the past years. But the red is really nice on the Verano.
Good everyday car. :) In SF, all you see are Accords and Camrys, and ALOT of Toyota Priuses. This would be a good change.
love this car!
I am not usually a fan of the newer cars but this one is really nice. great job on the video Kyle.
I'd be really curious to drive one of these. I drove a 2011 Regal CXL last year, and I really do like the car a lot but it was such a dog. The 2.4 just felt so weak. I'm interested in seeing if it's any better in a smaller car like this.
Kyle i see a white Suv in the back , are u gonna do a video on it to ?
Most reviewers seem to think the Verano is better. At least it has a modern 6-speed automatic, rather than the outdated Acura 5-speed automatic, and the cabin is a good amount quieter too. Probably the major issue with the Buick is predicted resale, which will more than likely be quite a bit lower than the Acura.
I am 19, I went to the local GM dealer and when I sat in this car I was instantly sold.
if you can review a revonton that would be amazing
I'm actually looking to get one of these
PositivelyMe My sis has one. Except it's a 2016 Sports Touring.
Can you make an in depth tour of a Pontiac Torrent?
Actually a nice looking sedan for a buick
How does the key fob remote start the engine when it isn't a keyless push-button start? After starting engine with remote, do you still need to put the key in to drive the car?
Its just like many cars that aren't keyless, its just a remote start system. After starting the engine you need to put the key in and turn it to the ACC setting.
Kareem Sandy WTF u don't need push button or smart key
When I first heard this commercial, I thought it was the Verona!
Is the Buick Verano a reliable car? And how is the maintenance on it?
+kevin p We have one and it hasn't given us any problems but with any new car it is hard to do any other work than a simple oil change due to the super complicated electrical system these new cars have
kevin p meh both are meh
Alan Polly how many miles does yours have?
kevin my grandpa says the maintenance is very easy and very cheap surprisingly. He’s had his 2013 since 2013 and it runs fine. And he has over 90k miles on it already. So nothing has happened so far, but he was a mechanic so he knows when to do maintenance for it and how to take care of it.
@1DirtbikeBoy No, the ATS is completely unrelated, it is on a RWD platform and this is on a FWD platform
kyle, may u please do a review on the 2011-2012 porsche 911 turbo s, the cayenne turbo, and a 2013 nissan gtr? i would really appreciate it thank u
Great Car, Great Review! Get the Turbo 2013? Wow.
Gabe Goglia yes get the turbo Verano. You won’t regret it. 0-60 in 6.5 or 6.7 seconds.
how's the reliability on this car? deciding between this and the Acura ILX
kyle, can you do a test drive video of this vehicle...
Hey Kyle, do you think you could do a review of the Ferrari FF, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Bud
A 4 cyl that makes the same horsepower at a 3.8 V6 of the 90s.
Thats an accomplishment. :-D
this is a nice little Buick and seem to be the direct competition/segment Acura is going after with the ILX. With this model being $23K and the mid level, the top model would probably still undercut the ILX's maybe $30K price tag. they need to get rid of the crazy chrome brows in the back though.
Older people love both.
Nice car.
HEY KYLE. If its possible would u be able to do a 2012 BMW 328. Thanks man.
Nice and beautiful
PARDON ? Bol, that voice command system got my attention !
@Carbonized433 Look up the Buick Regal. That's the one that's based on the Insignia. mrwilk12 was right. The Verano shares the same platform as the Astra, the GM Delta II platform
@UnboundLegend Nope, look on a dashboard - Insignia. Regal and Verano are the same size cars form GM. In EU their sister model is Insignia.
nice chime 1:49
Agree, it’s so calm.
It's a optional feature which you have to pay for (Navigation Package)
@Barobran92 Yes and no. From the manufacturer, they usually aren't standard on the base levels, however, the dealers include them anyway thus forcing you to pay for them. They are about 70-130 dollars. You can tell them to remove it to lower the price.
awesome
My grandma is either supposed to get this or the terrain... Hope this one.
