I recently bought a 2012 SE. 10 years later it still feels like the perfect blend of form and function; for anyone looking to buy, I would highly recommend the 4 cylinder. It’s a pleasure filling up once every 450 miles in a vehicle that does everything it should, easily.
I recently rented one of these in the 4 cylinder version and I was totally impressed with the car. It was comfortable, had a very quiet cabin, and the 4 cylinder outperformed itself in every situation. The MPGs were astounding, I got about 27 mpg in total city driving while I had it. I can totally see why people are buying these cars left and right. The Camry gives you the feel of a luxury sport sedan while giving optimal gas mileage. The interior was a little plasticky, (if that's a word) but the performance of the car is nothing short of outstanding.
+Will, Follower of Jesus Even with the V6 mileage is excellent. I've done 31mpg highway in an older '08 Camry V6, 3mpg above EPA estimate. It's very quiet, very smooth, with none of the harshness turbo four cylinders have. I've always seen Camrys as boring blobs especially the earlier XV40 models, but now I'm trying to find a good used one.
My wife and I are looking at this exact vehicle right now. We have the 2015 Sienna with the same 3.5L V6 and it’s awesome! So I imagine having the same V6 in the Camry would be even better being that it’s 1000lbs lighter than the Sienna.
FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY (x100000) You actually did listen to your viewers who are Toyota fans!!!! This car is amazing, and I cant wait to get my own.
I have a 2020 Camry SE with the 4 cylinder engine. I can’t believe this older model had heated seats and JBL audio as options. Those features are only available nowadays on the XLE and XSE trims.
Man has Toyota really stepped up their game lately. I have a 2011 Highlander myself, and I'm really impressed with it. Granted, I have just the base model or LE trim, but I'm still impressed with the giant improvements Toyota has made with all of their cars. The inclusion of such standard features as automatic lights, heated mirrors, and a windshield de-icer is pretty nice. I'm even impressed with how comfy the seats are. For being just cloth seats, I thought they were actually pretty comfortable for taking this thing on its first long (4.5-5 hours) drive from WI up to MN (which is where I go to college). The only thing I'm slightly disappointed about them is that at least the driver seat (also the front passenger seat) isn't powered, but that doesn't matter too much because I'm the only one driving the car. This means that I've only had to set it once, and then forget about it. I also really like that there's now an auxiliary jack built in. This means I don't have to futz with cumbersome FM transmitters. I don't even mind that my car didn't come standard with Bluetooth, as that aux jack is the next best thing. I can have any music playing through my iPhone (or any other audio device) as well as have my navigation done through it, and along with that, I can just use Siri for my voice commands (which in my opinion works a hell of a lot better than some current built-in systems). Speaking of all this audio talk, I personally think that the standard 6-speaker audio system actually sounds pretty good. Toyota has been pretty good about that though. With just the right settings, it can sound like the next best thing to a premium audio system. Needless to say, Toyota really has made many leaps and bounds with the quality of their cars, and I couldn't be happier with my '11 Highlander.

We used to have the Camry in the UK market years ago but had sadly flopped over there. In America, I assume it was marketed as a family car while in Europe it was marketed as an executive saloon (Audi A6/BMW 5 Series rival) but most people weren't convinced by it so they went for the European built Avensis instead.
