Early '90s cars are starting to look classic nowadays. Damn I'm starting to feel old. LOL!
Early 90s cars are becoming classics. We are old.
I'm right there with you guys, I'm 52 & these cars were nice looking in the 90's & on back.
there not worth anything only 1000 OBO
Sure, cuz they are above 30 years nowadays..
I don't care if people call this a "old people car" I would love to afford one in leather and smell like cigar smoke. my grandpa had the lasabre in dark blue and since he smoked cigars, it had that great aroma. when I think of a Buick I think my gramps and a good cigar
Daniel Cardona my 91 has leather beautiful car got RIMS everything
Buicks are built to last
For me, pipe tobacco. My grandpa had a 79 lesabre.
I know, everyone thinks luxury cars are old people cars just because they buy them or brought them in those days. Technically this as many other luxury cars are family cars. Now days old people as young people buy SUV's of all sizes weather It's Cadillac, Lincoln or Chevrolet.
“Old people cars” are the best! The 90s Buick’s, crown vics, grand marquis, Lincoln’s. Etc.
Best cars for road trips.
Gustavo Barriga so good on gas, easy to maintain, all the features of a Cadillac
@LAFOLLETTER
That's the way they all are, just look at a Town Car for an example.
I don't know why people post such hateful comments on here sometimes. I would agree that Buick could have given the steering on these more road feel and give the car better handling.
However, I like the exterior styling on these and the interior on them is not bad. In fact, I like the interior in the early and mid 90s lesabre and park avenue better than the 2000 and later models.
However, what really sets these cars apart was their great dependability and reliability. There are few drivetrains, even from Japan, that will give the long term reliability and durability of the 3800 V6 with an Hydramatic 4T60E transmission assuming they are maintained properly.
Also, the gas mileage on these is quite good especially for a big car. 30mpg is normal on the highway. Also, the 3800 is a very smooth and quiet motor with adequate power and plenty of torque. The 4T60E transmission shifts very smoothly and usually at the right time.
In essence, the lesabre and park avenue of the era were a dependable, reliable, efficient, and comfortable Big American car with little pretention. They were and did precisely and exactly what they were designed to do exactly the way they were intended to do it.
Aside from having personal preferences then, why all the hate and ignorance from some people over these cars?
Your right, these cars are amazing I drove one through highschool. My friends used to say balling in a Buick 😂😂 , made so many memories and the car is still doing fine. I love my dads LeSabre, when my dad bought it 8 years ago for $600. The original owners named it the blue goose so that's what we call it 😂
John Keels Exactly! I'm not a huge fan of GM myself but Buick's 3800 is one of the best engines ever. The styling was very clean and efficient, the ride was comfortable... What more could you ask for?
The engine is great, it’s the rest of the cheap GM interior that sucks, they usually fall/come apart. You won’t see many in this condition
A beautiful car and much improved over the Buicks and Olds from 1986 to 1990.
I'm 16 and I love grandpa cars, the style, the reliability, and the comfort. Ide rather have a late 90s buick then a brand new car
I still can remember that there was a Buick Park Avenue in our neighborhood. In Taiwan, American cars has been not so popular for 2 decades. It was so impressing for me because of its unique exterior.
They sure don't make cars like this anymore!
Amtrakfan2009
You can say that again
I agree, cars like these were nice cars in those days as the 80's.
God forbid they even offer a split bench seat anymore or even a column mounted shiftier!
@@42luke93 The last American bench seat not in a truck was available on the 2013 Chevy Impala. Column shifters are only on trucks or full size SUVs too I think.
@@matthewbaquero
Yeah, although if you get a Ford Police Interceptor. The Sedan, Compact SUV and Full Size SUV all have column shifters. But bench seating is gone on the smaller vehicles like suv's, sedans, sadly heck even small trucks like ranger too!!!
Love that cloth interior (maintains a nice appearance far longer than leather) and no vinyl top to capture and hold moisture. Gorgeous cruiser. Rush tunes a plus!
I miss my old Buick :(
The Buick Park Avenue and Olds Ninety Eight from 1991 thru 2005 (the Olds was discontinued after 1996) were probably the best full size luxury cars GM ever built. The 3.8 engine was bulletproof, and these cars had excellent rides and fuel economy.
I'll second that, and also say that the supercharged ones are very fast for their size. I've had 2 Park Avenue Ultras: a black '94 and my current green '95, and they are true sleepers. You can get them very cheaply as well: I paid $2700 for my first and only $1500 for my current one. If you find a good one it won't let you down, and it's not like you're driving an econobox!
I''ll third that..lol Very well built cars.. most people don't know it... people think mine gets poor mileage Wrong!
Dash Riprock I'll fourth it. I've got a 1992 Park Avenue with 234,000 miles and still counting. Best $1000 I've ever spent.
+Dash Riprock Grew up in the era of the big GMs, My Uncles were all GM crazy. Missed those couch like seats. My dad like GM also but he always drove station wagons which drove me crazy.
I can also agree.. I have a 1993 Oldsmobile 98 Touring Sedan and it's a fantastic ride, very comfortable, and gets 20-30 mpg... also handles very well and with the supercharged 3800 moves quite swiftly! I've had several complements while I've been out driving and it's nice to know others appreciate these cars!
I love how you have done every car that ever comes into my mind that I want to learn more about. You're like a mind reader 😧
Love how it appeared at both your apartment complex and the owner's street alternatively throughout the review. It's magic! Great review Kyle!!
I love this generation of Park Avenues! I drive a 94 Ultra myself.
I love these overviews of the classic cars! It gives me a little history lesson!
one word Classic.
Best UA-cam car review channel by far! Love it!
its got a pretty muscly growl to it, nice car.
Very solid, safe, safe, understated luxury with excellent fuel economy. Very reliable, the best ride you can imagine
Thanks Kyle. Still some of the best videos on UA-cam.
My mother had a 92 and a 96 in this body style. Both were really nice cars and rode like a cloud. Better than her previous big Buicks.
Thanks for doing a real buick. Love your vid
This may have been one of the best reviews you have done so far Kyle.
I grew up in a 92. THANK YOU... Good memories!!!
Beautiful! Great vid as always Kyle! Love those older Buicks!
That Buick is in great shape! I have a 1994 Ultra in all black and I wish it was in that great of shape, though it also looks great. This in my opinion was the greatest looking of the Park Avenues, with a modern (at least for the time) take of classic lines that still looks great today. Great video as always, Kyle!
My dream classic car!! Wonderful job bro.
1:08 Gm still uses that chime TODAY!!!
I have a 05 Buick Park Avenue SE two tone platinum and black one of the last 300 built' still loving that Chime!
Wonderful video, thanks! The Buick Park Avenue (and the supercharged "ULTRA" version) was one of my favourite American cars in my teenage years.
I found it a precious 100% American sedan, although the first time I saw it in a Spanish car magazine in 1992, I thought it was a modifyed Jaguar XJ-Series. But after a segond intensive sight and after having read the complete article, I realised that it was a wonderful full American-style car.
P.S. The unit of this video is a museum piece!
Love the glass like A pillar. That cue is back in style.
This video and others inspired me to buy a beautiful light blue 94. I love that car, and it gets all the special treatment I can give it!
David Bouffard did you buy it? I’m currently looking at a 91 red with red interior 86k no rust for $3000..one of my favorite cars of all time
The attention to detail is amazing in these 90's Buicks. There are features (even electronic) in this car that you dont see even today.
I just LOVE the classic RUSH and STYX. I can tell you're in Reidsville. I know that area well. The dash looks like my uncle's 1997 Buick LeSabre Limited. It had a white exterior and blue leather interior. I moved to Pensacola, Florida. I now live in Auburn, Alabama. I will be moving back to North Carolina sometime next Spring. I once live in the Rockingham County area from 1980 - 2004. Lived in Azusa, California from 1971 - 1980. I moved to High Point back in 2004. I left North Carolina in March 2016. You and Sofyan Bey of Redline Reviews do the best car reviews on UA-cam.
Amazing to see a full gauge cluster from an early 90's Buick luxury car!
Not sure about the park avenue, but the 97 lesabre has good road feel when your bushings are in good shape. That floaty feel is actually pretty unique and pleasant, yet not ponderous
Very nice car. it´s my second buick and I`m very happy with this car.
I'd love to own this beauty 😍my Dad had a 1984 park av..loved driving it.
This is my favorite Park Avenue model!
Thank you for this great review Kyle! This Park Avenue is in such perfect condition...
I love those Buicks. I also have a 1991 you see it on the right side under related videos with the "Blinker" shown. Just using a new YT account now
It’s good to hear that my 99 lesabre with 100k miles sounds as good as this
I love this Park Avenue man. I always love these bodystyles of the Park Avenues :)
love this car is a classy modern car with modern features very good kyle great video
Although I personally dislike the body style, This car has a great engine, and buicks have always been great cars. my favorites are the Lacrosse, 98 Regal, and the newer Park Avenues. You seriously cant beat these GM 3.8s. Best engines ever made.
I ordered 66 damn right
I've been driving buicks for the past 25 years,no complaints, they work just fine here in México.
Kyle, nice work to put classic cars with low mileage. Great, more please!
In amazing shape. I’d love one of these...
Awesome Park Avenue!! I love these bodystyles man
i just got myself one too, same year, maroon inside and out, and while it's not the ultra model and got some miles to it, even some parts replaced and repaired, but i have to say, i'm liking it so far despite not being fuel efficient compared to todays cars
I just bought a 1995 Buick Lesabre which is also similar to the park avenue. runs great!
I have the same one in white/blue, but it's a '94. I love my Buick!!!
Just bought a '94. Like a $200k sports car or high end restored classic to me.
Great video, dont know why so many people say rude comments I say if ur not interested in it dont watch. Dont change a thing Kyle everything works in your videos. love the variety you give all of us. I look forward to your next post. Curious where you find these great low milage cars though, can you tell me.
I had exactly the same car ,but in Burgundy color and with the leather seats!!
Fantastic souvenir especially in Normandy!
But the gas mileage was hard to sustain in France....
jesus the nostalgia it looks exactly like the one my mom had it had 91k miles red leather interior it was so good ahh the memorys
i like this car.....comfortable,quiet has a nice ride and gets up and goes faster than you'd think just by looking at it.
Love the seat squabs. True executive transport this one.
It doesn't look like a front drive at all, like many do.
Dayum, that's clean!
Amazingly clean car for the age. This looks like the little brother of your Roadmaster
I love the Buick Park Avenues. Wish I had one.
buick really seems to have knocked it out of the park (no pun intended) with these cars. they were even imported into europe and germany as big luxury cars for long trips. i would have loved to ride in one.
Gorgeous car to look at!
whoa pretty cool placement of the light controls
Great video as always and nice Buick. This reminds me of my great aunt's 1995 Oldsmobile 88, which also has the 3800 engine and is still in pretty good shape. I'm not a GM expert by any means as I drive a Toyota, but I know that the 3800 is known to be one of the most solid engines made by GM. This must have been garaged because for a 21 year old car, it looks like it hasn't seen much exposure to the elements.
I love that sound of the horn man. Sounds just like a Caddy too LOL
A true car enthusiast can appreciate a car for what it is, not the price tag and what others will ASSUME about you because you drive it.
love the Rush. slappin the bass!
What a GREAT car
These buick v6s are awesome engines! Famous here in Australia for being absolutely bullet proof. Holdens with these in can clock over 500,000 miles easily
Man I love Buicks :)
This car should be in a museum.
I have bought me one a white one too, its a 1993, and clean like this one I'm very happy now :)
Beautiful, beautiful car.
I enjoy your video walkarounds
I would love to have this car
I Love These old 90's Park Avenues, especially the Ultra Supercharged Models.
Mine only has 29K original miles too. It's a 1976. It's mint.
I would love to own this car over a modern sedan this is absolute comfort and beautifully elegant yet simple styling this is like an american early 90s Mercedes. You can tell its built to last
@Awesome Video Kyle...WOW That car is mint
Thanks! and it was an honest question, not a troll one. :)
There's a 1932 Buick here in Anaheim for sale with 15,000 original miles on it I couldn't believe it till' I saw it black beauty:)
I really want one of these!
Classic Buicks American cars are great thank you😀 I have a 2000 Buick LeSabre custom I just purchase what a ride.😀
Back when Buicks looked like Buicks. I remember when this car came out. My father taught me how to drive on a 1988 Electra Limited. He commented on the 1991 Park Ave, about it's Jaguar like looks and how he liked it. We test drove a taupe color car, and I still remember riding in pure luxury in the backseat. The Great American Road belongs to Buick🇺🇸🇺🇸
The Park Avenue is BY FAR the most comfortable car I have ever been in...
I love this car
you are welcome glad to have helped
Miss these old car's 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
Cool car!
Gorgeous Car.
beautiful
Had a 96 Ultra, great car, a sleeper, chrome trim was falling off and car was totaled Dec 2007.
did the park avenue have a sunroof option?
you know i really want one of these
Beautiful
While all you are bickering like little teenagers, Isn't this supposed to be about cars here? I will be getting the 1996 version of this car soon, for $1,500. which is an almost exact copy of this one in this video. I've read nothing but great reviews about these Park Ave's. It will be replacing my dead clunker 1995 Dodge Stratus that barely made it to 100k miles. I can't wait!
nice review, can you review the 2005 Chrysler pacifica touring awd. I'd like to know about that car.
my friend has one of these cars but its red with leather interior.. its so comfortable to sit in... and you cant feel any bumps at all.. i want one..
Thats a great car
What's the function of Anti-Lock brake system? and does it automatically work whenever we drive or it's something that driver can turn on/off whenever he likes?
thank you very much your chanel really nice
If I owned this vehicle, I would daily drive this beauty and keep it pristine.
