Excellent video. Would you please consider posting the part numbers of the filters and identify the fluids used including the spray oil. This would be helpful for ordering parts online. I don't have a Honda Marine dealer anywhere near me.
It’s really good but there is one equally important thing missing - that is engine sparks (don’t know if it’s the right word) I hoped i would find this info here….😢😢😢
Thanks for video. I have a Truekit 14 foot inflatable. Are you happy with you Honda. Insaw a Tohatsu with same price but has EFI and electric start. How do you like the 4 blade set up on the Honda. Unfortunately I ruined a Suzuki df20a when an impeller broke up and into engine
Thanks a lot for posting. Do you see thicker black residue on the botton holes and top exhaust on your 20hp? My oil was jet black after about 5 hours of run time after oil was changed. Engine sat for 2 years.
I use a 80w90 gear oil, this was conventional non synthetic but will be switching to full synthetic next time. Most autoparts stores sell it. I had bought this at Canadian Tire
just wondering cause I changed mine and there is some kind of sensor on the head between the 2 plugs that makes getting to the bottom plug difficult, I tried to pull the wires off but it didn't come off easy so I just painfully worked around it @@PovertyPointCustoms

Either or should be fine depending on your Temps in your area

How is it getting it on and off your boat?
The honda is amazing
It's a bit heavy though
When you run the engine were you running fresh water through the hose attachment as the propeller wasn’t sat in water.
Hi, the water was running through the ear muffs on the lower unit (I did realize the impeller was shot), so that was replaces after.
Fantastic guide, thank you. Quick question how much oil is necessary for the gear ? I have only 45ml left.
Thanks, it take apx 284ml
Great instructional video! Thank you

Very informative thank you, however, do you know how much motor oil the Honda 20 hp takes ?
Thanks, roughly 1.3 liters
@@PovertyPointCustoms thank you
Thanks a lot bro!!
Your very welcome
What spray oil are you using?
It's a rust inhibitor spary oil (almost like a rust check spray)
Well done
Thanks!
What kind of gear oil are you using and where is it available?
I use a 80w90 gear oil, this was conventional non synthetic but will be switching to full synthetic next time. Most autoparts stores sell it. I had bought this at Canadian Tire
Where are the spark plugs?
your motor wasnt peeing when you did your test start..
I actually ended up having to replace the impeller, took it apart and it was 95 percent gone
@PovertyPointCustoms make a video on how to change the impeller
What not spark plugs
They were recently done, so didn't do them this time

What kind of spray oil was that?
