The Bardock Raid for me was kinda like the Jiren read except less "counter" and PTSD cause of said counter and more Unga Bunga Bardock. It was honestly somewhat fun, though I wish it was a bit more challenging! I also find it a little weird how we keep transferring between Rocky Field (Evening) and Space, as shown through the video haha. I think it has something to do with the Bardock Movie's settings, but I dunno the specifics. They really like putting all of the Raid Bosses in space, don't they... I really had no idea how to approach the Dramatic Finish for this raid at first, and I honestly thought of breaking the formula and going Frieza or something. However, a small idea did come up last minute and now you have what you see today! I hope you guys enjoy the raid! It might not be as hype as the other ones, especially because we have another "Solo Man" raid boss, but I hope it was enjoyable nonetheless.
Now this puts a smile on my face. That gogeta comeback was sick. I looked like you didn't have a single doubt about you losing. You were so confident! God damn is was so cool
Fun Video Production Facts! (SPOILERS AHEAD!) (0:00 - 0:18) Is a nod to the Great Apes / Oozaru. Bardock still has his tail and can actually turn Super Saiyan now, so maybe a Golden Great Ape / Oozaru isn't out of the question! This is why Gogeta is interested at the start: that a full moon has just occured, and another one is nearing EXTREMELY soon so he might have to fight either Bardock as a giant beast or as a Super Saiyan Four! (4:00 - 4:11) Bardock's stages are a little odd. Raid bosses commonly go back to stages they were before, but Bardock does a back-and-forth between Rocky Field (Evening) and Space! This is probably (most likely) a referance to the movie. Gogeta is having none of that, as the Fusion, FighterZ Alternative or not, does still have a deactivation time at SOME point. (4:14 - 4:16) Gogeta's timer is supposed to run out when they defuse in the video! I don't think my timing is perfect, but that was the intention haha. (4:26 / 4:37 / 5:08) Saiyans have a short temper. (6:29) Teammates don't actually comment on being revived, but I thought them not saying anything would be kinda boring. Also, watch Android 18's Health! Theres a glitch in the raid mode involving health, and when Gohan called out 18 her health reverted to 4 units. (7:17 - 7:35) Bardock, at this point, has died to Frieza, fought Chilled as he has the Super Saiyan Form, traveled through time and space AGAIN to arrive at the FighterZ Universe to go berserk into great ape status, and has no idea what to do. (Headcanon but I'd like to think the trips to Earth are to get groceries haha.) Man probably has serious mental problems, if not PTSD. The required amount of wins ingame to knock Bardock back into his senses are 20,000! I kinda wanted to show that he went a little braindamaged through all that, as shown by his whited out eyes. (9:48 - 12:06) is the "dramatic finish." I had no idea how to approach this, until I remembered Gogeta is a fusion! And not just any fusion! The GT FUSION, where Goku is still a Kid at the time of fusing!... albeit in Super Saiyan Four. I'd like to see a scenario where Bardock gets to see his son again, and in the most Saiyan way of Father-Son bonding, see them fight! So they do, duke it out, and Bardock loses somewhat quickly because I doubt Bardock fought anyone as tiny as GT Goku nor would he win against two super saiyans. Plus, all of them are tired. (11:31 - 12:06) was solely included so people don't think GT Goku outright killed Bardock LMFAO. It's kinda uncertain what happens to Raid Bosses, from my perspective I just see it as they calm down, and if from a different dimension / time, returned there. Except Janemba. He totally died. Vegeta is in his GT get up (this one is from the VeGTa Mod Pack!) and both of them are NOT in different colors as to represent Gogeta not being in his. Conveniently, GT Goku and Vegeta are in Color 3 while Gogeta is in Color 6! Wooooooh, addition! Also, instead of Vegeta being butthurt about Goku too much, he shrugs it aside after asking as GT Vegeta is a little mellowed out. That, and he just requests to go back to the fusion for In-FighterZ-Universe reasons.
