Hello from Finland, two days ago I stumbled upon your channel and I love it :) I've been reading this saga almost a year now and I'm diving in to Deluxe volume 8 and this gave me the boost to continue further after couple of month long hiatus.
I loved that he was motivated to berserk on his own and film a video but godamn, this made me realize how good of an editor you are crystal. the cuts to the relevant panels serve as a great visual aid.
I would love if after berserk your dad reads Vagabond. Its about similar length and doesn't have an ending but it's an amazing read. And does have a lot of philosophical bits that would be so cool to hear his opinions on
@@Lornext Both Sir Laban and Sir Owen make appearances during the Golden Age Arc, most notably during the ball. They are Midland nobles who served/serve the King of Midland.
In all fairness Laban and Owen show up as nameless characters in the background for two scenes across the whole Golden Age. I’m a huge Berserk fan and I thought Owen was named Laban because of how little we saw them.
Yknow, ive been a fan of berserk for a loooong time. Though i have a hard time coming back to it cause it weighs so heavy on my mental when i pick it up again. But discovering you two going through it with a fresh perspective has really helped me into picking it back up again. Thank you guys for being awesome.
When he's done Berserk I hope you do a wholesome shorter series. Something slice of life or one of those comedy isekais or somehting. Maybe the original Red Blue run of the Pokemon Adventures manga or one of the FUNA series or Little Witch Academia. Then after that...I guess Musheku Tensei since it's so important to the isekai genre or maaaaybbbe Elfen Lied if we wanna do gore again
I would be careful in overthinking about any Christian analogies, since Miura wasn't all that about such vision. The Idea of Evil is a quite morally grey concept.
He was defintely familiar with carl jung though, & that man spoke a ton on christianity. This series does havw tons of christian themes, just not in a direct way like you may expect

Laban was in the Golden Age! He was one of the few nobles in Midland who didn't want to scheme against the band of the hawk, if I remember correctly
Indeed! Also Sir Owen!
Yes they were the only nobles who supported Griffith and the Band of the Hawk during the 100 year war
Laban and Owen were two of the very few nobles who can be called noble.
Really I don’t remember that, thanks for reminding me!! 😊
Love how pops treat Griffith like Voldemort. "You know who".
The only difference is that he doesn't say his name not because he's afraid, but because the Hawk deserves to be hated and forgotten.
Man, I love your dad's POV of berserk with a biblical perspective. Can’t wait to see you at the end of this arc!
So excited! Dad finally caught up to me, so I have no idea where this is going but I’m so excited to find out!
“Griffith… May his name be forgotten forever.”
I don’t recognise this name. Who is he?
@@jeremytitus9519 It’s best we don’t speak of him.
That Dove might just be another type of bird. A bird of Prey perhaps? Perhaps even a Falcon, Hawk or Eagle?🙊
Clearly it was the millennium falcon

Really!! That’s awesome to hear! So glad you found us, can’t wait to hear your thoughts as you progress forward, keep us updated!! 😊
from a hawk to a traitor.... may his name be forgotten forever
...Say that again?
*We all say in unison*🙏🏼
When he said he was ending this video right here, he really meant it! lol
Hahaha fr man was done 😂😭
Gramps you’re a star babe but you gotta listen to your manager
Ahhh, Pops is understanding the Biblical parallels very well already
Yes!! I love it!!

Thank you so much! Glad you like it ! 😊
man beserk is just such a good journey, you and your dad are lucky getting to experience it fresh; I'm so jealous.
Did he catch that the rats formed the shape of Conrad?
Didn’t catch that! I’ll tell him!
Conviction has begun my fellas
Truly it has!!
Can’t wait for cracks in the blade
So glad he caught onto the revelations parallel so early!
Agreed!
"You know who" 😂 I love how he is treating he whose name shall not be uttered. That person deserves such treatment truly.
ive been so hooked on these videos ever since i found them!
Yay!! Glad to hear it 😊💗

Wasn’t Laban in the golden age arc? I think he forgot
Did we see him like once? I dont even think his name was mentioned there though.

We both did, gonna have to pull up those panels again! 😅
The previous video was indeed perfection good sir.
Glad you think so!😊

So glad to hear this! Yeah it can be taxing on the psyche but it’s so good it’s worth it! (Even if you need breaks every ones in a while) 😊
If you didn’t catch it, the plague ridden rats took the form of a member of the godhand
Yes! Someone just told me, gonna have to look at that panel again, thanks for the heads up !!
Yeah! Always nice to see someone who can see the Revelations references in Berserk with the Anti Christ coming as something beautiful.
So glad he caught it! Especially this early !
LETS GOOOOOO
I would dearly love to hear thoughts on Zodd the Immortal!
After Berserk you should read Vagabond. Has a lot of depth like Berserk, but a bit less dark (most of the time)
Yes 100% reading that after

Angle Beats or CLANNAD
Something wholesome
Charlotte knows her father better than anyone. No surprise me she don't want to see him and his nonsense about "feel the warm" again.
Agreed !!!
It appears that the griffin/white phoenix has been sighted. Time to strap in🧐
another great video...
Glad you enjoyed it😊
Well we know what happens with kings that seem good
I got that same shirt
I love the biblical reference
Yay!! I’m so glad 🥹💗
I love these videos of Berserk that use a Christian perspective to explain the Manga's many complex themes. Keep it up.
Thank you so much! 😊
i thought the first shoot was great. thats a family heirloom at this point
Truth😂
Any guesses on what nickname he’ll come up with for Mozgus? 😂
Get roasted, Crystal
Nice shirt!
Thanks!😊

Berserk is literally like 90% Norse Mythology and Christian mythology my man.
Good advice. The symbolism and analogies are just backdrop. It's important to focus on the core aspect of what the manga is first and foremost.
