Would love ideas for “masculine” cards as I make about 20-25 cards a month for our family, friends, church. Female recipients are easy with delicate florals and many other designs, but need ideas for the many men I am doing cards for. Would love a few examples of cards or doodles for men also. Love your style and simply listening to you. Thanks!
Both are absolutely beautiful! Though I do love that super soft pink... but the other with brown I love as well... see... yea, both beautiful! So, I need to make a bunch of cards for little simple gift... but between my normal handicaps, plus trying to move (we're waaaaaaaay too old to be moving, and my body makes sure I remember 😬) so I've been hoping to find some new ideas as I've done it a lot, especially during covid, drop off a little rum cake and card just to make sure nobody felt alone. Or lots of reasons... somehow if I'm making something as a gift I feel a bit less guilty having art supplies when we're out of money😊 But I really like these :) I love when I remove my tape as well... sometimes I think "Nah, I don't love this" and then I take off the tape and those clean white edges change it completely... And you're super brave drawing your sweet flowers right over top! When I do it, my hands shake and I get nervous I'll ruin the whole thing! But yours turned out lovely!! I love finding different ways to get texture in some background watercolor as well! So fun! Thanks again for beautiful inspiration!!🎉😊
@@MarenaART thank you 😊 I know that and absolutely believe that when I say the same to others.... just so much more difficult when pointing it at myself 😬 ya know? I see each of the little mistakes.... what I meant to do or what I did not want to do.... I've only been teaching myself the last several years in my old age and art saved my life, so I love to share things with others... for friends that are willing to try, I LOVE putting together small kits of a bit of watercolor in a cute tin, I sew together some of my folded watercolor paper, a small inexpensive brush, small pencil and eraser... just some basics I'd love to have had when I had no clue where to begin. A little card and tie it all together and it's a fun simple gift. I think it makes me happier giving it, knowing what art has done for me and hoping they find some joy in it as well :) I'm old and very handicapped, so not very useful at all, so, this is my small, very small, way of trying to help others find joy... or at least giving them the opportunity to see if they even like it all, without spending a bunch on supplies before they know. I know it's hard for us get any supplies, especially right now... so I don't want another going through that. So, makes me happy to make others smile. So I appreciate all the inspiration I can get, especially when in a lot of pain. So I appreciate your help with that and making me smile and feel excited about hopefully being able to start back up. Thanks so much!!!!!🥰❤️
So fresh and modern looking. Love these. Thanks for the great ideas as always! Also, would like to second the comment below from Karis. I am stuck when trying to think of card ideas for men and boys.
I was out browsing for ideas and fpund your channel and I agree that masculine ideas are a bit like buying clothes for my boys in the 70's. In Rural Idaho. T-shirts jeans and dress clothes were tan or blue with a red tie hahaha 👎. Love mixing up inspiration for wc painting.
Such beautiful details and simply easy to make cards. I have never tried to do the salt technique before but after watching how you used it I will definitely be giving it a try. Thanks for sharing this with us. I always love your cheery and fun videos.
I love this idea. Don't know if my doodles would do them justice but I like to stamp silhouettes in black or gray of florals and leaves and that would be awesome here. Thanks for the ideas.
As a beginner, I really want to thank you for doing something so beautiful and simple.
You are so welcome!
Thank you. Very inspirational.
That's what I'm talkin' about - simplistic beauty in this card!🥰
Thanks for this idea for occasional cards. I particularly like the doodles.
I love this technique. I followed your easy tutorial and my cards turned out beautifully. Thank you.

Yes, that is a great idea.
I love your cards. I still think of you going all Martha Stewart and starting a line of matching linens, drapes, towels and cards to match your decor.
Ha ha ha... thanks, Joyce!
So beautiful! I might do some for my mother in law. I think she'd like them.
