I used these cards (first design) for a sympathy card for a friend whose brother passed away suddenly. Thank you for creating such a lovely card that could be used for so many reasons.
As someone who is obsessed with straight lines (break out the t-square ruler kind,) I have to say that “wonky” lines look so much better in the long run. I know, trust me, how hard it is to let go of that control, but your paintings will be better for it. If you have one razor straight line, then ALL of your lines will have to be razor straight or everything looks off. Not only does that make your painting look stiff, but straight lines highlight any mistakes you have made, especially with perspective. Let go! Embrace the wonkiness!
Ahhh...another lovely Sunday with CeeCee! I enjoyed seeing the ‘behind the scenes’ look at how you chose the winner. Alas I didn’t win, but oh well, I will keep creating and look forward to your next giveaway. 🥰🥰🥰
These are so simple and sweet. They are good exercise starters to get you going for a paint session. Bonus - when you are loosened up, you have some lovely homemade cards for giving. Win, win. Thanks for sharing your talents with all of us.
I would really love to be able to paint beautiful flowers, I just don't think I am that imaginative. This is definitely more my thing, thank you for sharing x
Thanx so much for demonstrating use of Bee 140lb. I've been struggling with it, as it blooms easily. I learnt a lot from this video, but, mostly to accept a mild bloom as art as well. Change expectations when changing paper. You can't get the same result eith all papers. I carefully noted your judicious use of water and strokes. Lovely video, Ceecee! 👍🙏
I think cards are Fun to design and then you can mail them to Friends and Family. To say, was thinking of you and I miss you. Then they can frame it. ❤️🇨🇦
I’m just starting to explore my creative side. I’m playing with acrylics, alcohol inks, resin, watercolors, watercolor pencils and pens, alcohol markers (copic), basically anything I can get my hands on to explore. Thank you for sharing your beautiful skill and talent with the world! You’re teaching in such a relaxed and easy to understand way, that I’m really enjoy it and am learning a lot! I appreciate you so much!
Beautiful, simple, and lovely. I wish I had your design sense, but I will happily imitate you. Inspiring video, as always, and I am off to make these now! Toodles.....
I love all of your card designs. You make it seem so easy to do and you are taking the scary out of watercolor. Thank you for sharing your creative process with us and all of your beautiful art.
Congrats to the lucky winner! These 4 cards are so pretty. In my mind I am thinking of other lovely color combos as well. It would be an awesome series. I have painted so many of your doodles and it is so relaxing. A friend of mine does not even paint but she wants to try some! Thanks for the inspiration.
You are always so calming and inspiring to watch. Congrats to the winner. Love how you explain and show everything, even learning all the "first-time"user stuff.
So calming to watch you paint, I could watch all day. Sometime I'll have to put this into practice, I've made a little water colour paper book, just have to christen it😄
All the cards are so pretty. The colours and theme may be similar yet they are each strikingly individual. Thank you for the product list . I broke my wrist so the next few weeks will be spent sorting, cleaning and planning my projects. Oh, and a huge congratulations to the winner. 💐
I’m always intrigued by the way different ways people see and describe color. Where you call the quin gold a beautiful sunshine color I would describe it as a baby poo brown. My general preference for yellows is very cool, light yellows, though. 😉
Really enjoyed these cards - soft and spring welcoming. And congrats to the winner of your give away - must admit I am a little jealous but....I am sure they will enjoy it just as much as any one of us would! Happy creating!
