Having had P COS with dark hair on my face I had it lasered. Major major relief. Another treatment down-the-line would help. But the 1st one was good enough where shaving the less hair is less noticeable now.

She's not talking about "dealing" with blonde hair. She is talking about having it removed. Laser hair removal works best with very dark hair. The lighter the hair the less effective it is and harder to have it removed. Darker hair catches the "laser" while very light hair, doesn't.

I don't know how, but they actually make your face look less feminine, because they are so big. When you first got them done they were cute because they were portioned to your face, but now they push out so far that it's just plain ridiculous.

Honey I’m a laser tech and many so women deal with this problem , with coarse dark hair on the chin. I’m glad you shared your heart and experience for everyone who is afraid or feels alone. You did it right , laser first to get rid of as much as you can then doing electrolysis. I think your electrologist probably should have described the post treatment expectations better so you weren’t so surprised because it can be scary to see yourself red and swollen if you’re not expecting it!

For people who wondering why is it worst to have light facial hair rather than dark facial hair, it's just because dark hair are easier to remove with laser hair removal. Especially if you're very pale, it's the best. Dark hair catches the light way better. So, yes...it's better to have light hair before laser cause it's less noticeable but laser wise dark is better.
Lip fillers done repeatedly begin to go outside the natural lip line over years. Some people actually tattoo a new lip line for that reason after a while.

Maybe we put too much stock in our looks. it's sad that some scabs and bumps would be so traumatic to someone but there are some people who aren't as beautiful as others those scabs will heal the skin will be smooth again. Electrolysis it's supposed to be a permanent hair removal. Better than laser hair treatment since that just slows down the growth it doesn't get rid of it. Electrolysis comes in three options: galvanic, blend, and thermolysis. Galvanic is the slowest but it's the best because it doesn't heat the skin while thermolysis does and blend since it's a mix of the two. I struggle with facial hair and I'm hoping to get galvanic electrolysis, but because of where I live in Florida only a few places will do it but I am hoping to have it done. You should look into electrolysis yourself if you want a permanent hair removal.

Yeah this seems like a very bad idea. Also electrolysis is not a one time deal. It takes numerous sessions. Also a good electrologist will give you ice packs after a session because of the inflammation. I dunno...I wouldn't recommend doing something like this.

What Gigi did is the best solution for facial hair really. In my country it is also the cheapest method. If u r not influenced to produce more and more hairs due to some hormonal imbalance, of course, u should get rid of the hairs forever using the electrolysis. I do not do the electrolysis with the needle. It is excruciating pain and I can't do it. I opted for the electrical tweezers. Same idea, but less effective and less painful. Instead of inserting the needle in the pore and running the current, the aesthetician grabs the hair with the tweezers (there is contact gel as well) and then she runs the current. It means, of course, that one needs to do many more procedures to achieve the results one would get with the needle. Since I am very sensitive to pain and very risk averse (I would never put my health to risk with anesthesiology, unless it is a medical emergency- I accept that it is going to be a long battle till I win the "hairy war" :D Good luck!

I feel like for anyone it would be scary to do something as experimental as the whole hair follicle removal and actually not be sure that your face would go back to normal. Honey I’m a laser tech and many so women deal with this problem , with coarse dark hair on the chin. I’m glad you shared your heart and experience for everyone who is afraid or feels alone. You did it right , laser first to get rid of as much as you can then doing electrolysis. I think your electrologist probably should have described the post treatment expectations better so you weren’t so surprised because it can be scary to see yourself red and swollen if you’re not expecting it!

For people who wondering why is it worst to have light facial hair rather than dark facial hair, it's just because dark hair are easier to remove with laser hair removal. Especially if you're very pale, it's the best. Dark hair catches the light way better. So, yes...it's better to have light hair before laser cause it's less noticeable but laser wise dark is better.

Hi Gigi and anyone else reading! I just wanted to throw my two cents in. When you started to cry, I wanted to give you a hug. I get it. People in the comments seem to be pretty ridiculous. This is HER channel, HER journey and HER life. It's not a competition nor did she ever act like her life is worse than something else. She makes a living based on her looks and brand. Anyone would be upset by a sudden change in looks... but especially someone who has a famous face. Cut her some slack, damn.

Electrolysis it's supposed to be a permanent hair removal. Better than laser hair treatment since that just slows down the growth it doesn't get rid of it. Electrolysis comes in three options: galvanic, blend, and thermolysis. Galvanic is the slowest but it's the best because it doesn't heat the skin while thermolysis does and blend since it's a mix of the two. I struggle with facial hair and I'm hoping to get galvanic electrolysis, but because of where I live in Florida only a few places will do it but I am hoping to have it done. You should look into electrolysis yourself if you want a permanent hair removal.

Blond facial hair here! Beware of doing too much at once! Do not be greedy, because too much el. currency on the same spot could damage the skin! And it starts to show months afterwards!!!!
Yeah this seems like a very bad idea. Also electrolysis is not a one time deal. It takes numerous sessions. Also a good electrologist will give you ice packs after a session because of the inflammation. I dunno...I wouldn't recommend doing something like this.

What Gigi did is the best solution for facial hair really. In my country it is also the cheapest method. If u r not influenced to produce more and more hairs due to some hormonal imbalance, of course, u should get rid of the hairs forever using the electrolysis.
I do not do the electrolysis with the needle. It is excruciating pain and I can't do it. I opted for the electrical tweezers. Same idea, but less effective and less painful. Instead of inserting the needle in the pore and running the current, the aesthetician grabs the hair with the tweezers (there is contact gel as well) and then she runs the current. It means, of course, that one needs to do many more procedures to achieve the results one would get with the needle. Since I am very sensitive to pain and very risk averse (I would never put my health to risk with anesthesiology, unless it is a medical emergency- I accept that it is going to be a long battle till I win the "hairy war"
