I didn't realize the DITO ad didn't have English captions. Essentially the name DITO means "here". So the pre-chorus sings, "Different kinds of great, it's great here oh-oh / Seven Thousand Islands, stand up oh-oh / Let's all come together here / The Filipino people are Great" And then the chorus: "It's great Here, Here. / Different kinds of great are here. / As long as it's Filipino, you're sure / We're all from here." It plays on the word "Galing" because when you read it as ga-LING it means "Great", but when you say GA-ling, it means "comes from". So "Ang Galing Dito" is -- It's Great Here! But the last line of the chorus says GA-ling dito (we're from here) I find that the Alamat songs are always particularly very well written. They also use the language very poetically, which is quite different from what pop music is typically like in the west, where it's very colloquial speech.
