I need to go out to the dry lake beds around where i live to see if i can collect some eggs. when it rains and the dry lake beds get some water in them you can see tons of the triops swiming around.
Make sure you check if thats legal in your country. Taking eggs from wild specimens can end you up with crazy fines in some countries if you get caught! If its legal, I wish you truly the best because that really awesome to be able to! Unfortunately Triops went "extinct" in my country as far as i know.

A lake bed??
I live in Las Vegas, there are a lot of seasonal "lakes" just outside the Las Vegas area that spend most of the year dry.
